Buck Books

I was under the impression that there would be CEU's given for studying this review book, as they are endorsed by the AAPC logo on the front of the book. There were none. It came in a plastic wrap, but listed as used. Has someone already used this book and taken out the CEU certificate? I would like to return it as I would rather order somthing to receive the CEU's also. Thanks. The shipping was very prompt.

Having just passed my CCA Certification, I was looking for a review book for the next step, the CCS-P Certification. Having used PRG's review books (for the CCA and CCS), I was looking for something else to study from. This book is truly a waste of time and money. Pitifully basic, this book would not even be a good study book for the CCA exam. Most of the information reviewed was basic and not advanced enough to help for the difficulty level of the CCS-P. Specific number of pages and information present is woefully inadequate. I would recommend the PRG books 100% of the time, they actually do prepare you for the certification exams. I was shocked to see Carol Buck's name on it as I have studied from her coding textbook and it was thorough and well put together. I hope this saves you from wasting your money.

The book is a series of stories of how Bushman havested some of his bucks. On a map he details how he entered the stand what sign was around and details of the harvest .Normally you can learn alot from this. Bushman leaves out a few minor details. Like on the Saskatckewan hunt he fails to mention bait. I have hunted Saskatchewan many times. Theres no skill involved, how long can you set in -15 degree weather over a bait station and can you make the shot when presented. Most Outfitters hunt the same incuding the ones Bushman hunts with. If he leaves that out he's most likely leaving out details on other hunts. Most if not all the hunts are on high end leases or guided hunts. Theres no reason to waste your money on this.

I could have learned more about deer hunting trophy whitetails reading one sentence in a Greg Miller book then I did reading this whole thing. No breadth or depth.

Boring, boring, boring. No character development, no plot, no detail of camp life, no follow up; nothing to engage my sense of adventure. Leave this dusty old relic in a trunk in an attic.

If you are looking for a history or survey of that medieval entity centered in Germany, the Holy Roman Empire, this is not for you.
What we have here is a provocative anti-Catholic conspiracy screed from Freemasons of the early 20th Century.

I paid extra to have this `book shipped within 2 days- What a way to pad your profit by not delivering the product. Four days later I rec'd the book and will no longer give my business to Amazon- there are other suppliers that will deliver on their word!

This has to be the most horrible collection of stupid jokes. Not funny and boring.

After reading a dozen pages, the typos and bad grammar bothered me too much and I had to quit reading. Too bad, sounded like the premise for a good story - it was just too painful to read.

Since when do magazines sell single columns online (with no printing cost) for what is a large fraction of the cost of the entire magazine. Only a small part of this article is about George Noory. The item was listed as a 1997 publication, however, it was only a 1991 plublication date which I already have. i was looking for an updated version, so I have returned the item.

If there should actually be a 1997 version, I would not mind being contacted so that I may re-order it.

I used this book for an advanced cpt HCPCS class. In the first week, I discovered 3 HCPCS codes were missing from the index. Once I knew the codes, I could find them in the text. Having the codes missing from the index makes the book worthless in terms of finding codes.
Normally, Buck authors excellent books. I was surprised to find these errors. Maybe it was the editing staff....
