I found this book to be full of anger and sadness. It's a reflection of the author's own personal struggles with self acceptance and fulfillment

Do you want read a 6-page chapter with less than 20 citations? You have found a great book. Overall, I do not like this book because there are less information than expected. I wished this book summarized better and organized better growing thoughts and results of the cell cycle control in plant growth and development. Several chapters describe just individual research projects, which are suitable for research articles in journals. Also, they do not have reviewed other publications sufficient enough for satisfying students and researchers who are going to step inside this area. If you want to read more in-depth knowledge, you'd better go to library and find a recent reveiw article.

I wanted to like this book but couldn't. After a BRIEF preface, the authors present a relentless stream of tables unbroken by commentary. Each table is offered with the study's author, publication date, sample size, gender, age, nationality, population, time frame and method of report. There is also an index listing primary symptoms and page references to help navigate the reader, however it is incomplete and retrieving a table by a symptom ranked second or third in the listing requires rereading the text.

Given that base-rates tend to define abnormality and given the usefulness of inquiring about comorbid symptoms, this book seems like it ought to be a useful. Instead it is a curiosity. Results are presented without the rationale for the studies inclusion or discussion of the results no matter how provocative.
The book seems to selectively include studies providing elevated rates of symptomatology.I worry that these citations, which seem to show inflated rates of illness and pathological symptoms in community samples, will be used to further dismiss vulnerable individuals with health concerns.

Sadly, I own this calendar, authored by Russ Bryant and printed by MBI Publishing Company, "an imprint of Zenith Press." Having spent four years in the United States Marine Corps, the finest fighting organization in the history of the World, it is readily apparent that the author lacks any real appreciation for the USMC, its traditions, its history, its camaraderie, or its esprit de corps. From the calendar's front cover -- in which an open-mouthed recruit at Present Arms is getting "counseled" by a drill instructor -- to the calendar's final photograph of Marines dressed in period uniforms, the calendar appears to have been shot entirely at Parris Island over the course of a few hours' time. Although it will make an adequate memento for the graduating recruits whose company was highlighted therein, it is a poor calendar for anyone else who knows and loves the Marine Corps. I recommend against buying this.

This ended up being a bad photocopy of a color book, with SO many type-o's. Really disappointing. Don't buy it.

Although this is advertised as a Level 3 (pre-intermediate) Penguin Reader, it is actually a Level 5 (upper intermediate). It is also in British English, which should be noted on the review, as it's difficult enough to teach people American English without confusing them with British English.

Terrible...half way through the book, I *thought* he was going to cover something about security (cron), but it turned out how to edit a crontab or some such.

Not worth the postage to send it back.

This is only the last part of the first book. Only purchase this if you need to do the inventory more than once.
