RIng Around a MysteryReview Date: 2005-01-07
This book is about a girl named Elizabeth that is accused of stealing one of the expensive rings from Ring Doodle. As one of the popular kids (Justin) found the ring and gave it to her. Elizabeth thought justin stole it but he told her he found it by his locker. Elizabeth did not want to go give the ring back without knowing who really took it so the sales person won't accused her of taking it. So Elizabeth holds on to the ring and lost the ring and finds out who took the ring. Sometime your best friends could be your enemy.
In the book Elizabeth is a girl that likes to get to the bottom of things. She still has time to do other things like go to party's and be able to keep up with her home life. Elizabeth likes to do what she wants to do and does not care what others think.
In this book Elizabeth finds out allot of stuff about her and everyone around her. I liked the book. It is exciting , funny and is a big mystery. I liked the part where Elizabeth found out who stole the ring. I would recommend this book to people that like mysteries.

A must for sailboat racingReview Date: 2001-07-31
My copy has 111 pages and is from Fernhurst Books, U.K. It is written in a succinct, clear, and engaging manner. One fault is that the signal flags are not shown in color. And of course Willis' interpretations are not officially sanctioned! Some say this is the best instruction in the Racing Rules of Sailing (whose official text appears only at the end). Or if your only contact with competitive sailing is to watch the America's Cup on TV, this book is like a spectator's manual for appreciating the basic or fine points of the tactical maneuvering you witness.
