and typical german look.
Now - i have all 4 books from Kingdome19 and he is a great one.
Sadly, the book is a little bit small and has only 48 pages.
But the boys are very, very cute and well hung.
If you need more, look for his 2nd book: 2Omen with over 100.

Thought Provoking.Review Date: 2000-04-29
Ulam's excellent biography puts into perspective how a seemingly under-educated person such as Stalin could fill the void left by a giant of a person like Lenin. The part of the book that is most insightful is the chapters describing the power stuggle that took place "after" V.I. Lenin's death. You really start to understand how a gifted author and orator such as Leon Trotsky lost the battle for Lenin's mantle to Stalin. A person can even begin to sypathize for Stalin, but then the author describes what happened after Stalin became the maximum leader of the USSR in 1929. Of course everyone knows what happened after 1929, collectivization, purges, show trials of Bukharin, Kamenev, and Zinoviev, and the assasination of Leon Trotsky. Ulam's book is quite lengthy, but it is well worth the read, I would recommend this book to anyone.
Must read historyReview Date: 2004-12-23
Ulam's descriptions of the death of Lenin (physically limited by the stroke that he suffered, controlled by Stalin, and ultimately crying in despair at the devil that he himself had unleashed), was especially poignant. The book is also very enlightening as to the mechanics of how Stalin wielded such absolute power and held it to the very end, and the air of fear, distrust, syncophany, and total unreality that he foisted upon Russian society typified by such things as "Potemkin villages" (cardboard houses constructed to impress visiting dignitaries).
However, the book is long and detailed, and not for anyone looking for a quick read.
Unveiling the mysteryReview Date: 2007-09-17
Despite his prominence on the international scene for a quarter-century, Stalin was a mystery to people outside the Kremlin. He was even more paranoid than Hitler, and revealed as little of himself as circumstances would allow.
He is sometimes credited with having killed more people than Hitler. This may be true, but only if you lump in the victims -- largely through starvation -- of his rapid, brutal collectivization of agriculture. Hitler has a clear edge if you limit the count to deliberate murder.
However, Stalin was no slouch at murder. A sure way to get yourself killed was to take a job in the upper ranks of the Soviet government during Stalin's regime. As Prof. Ulam expertly points out, this was a no-win situation. If you failed in your job, you were murdered. If you did well in your job, you were murdered because Stalin would consider you a threat to his supremacy. One great question, unanswered by this book, is why anyone would put his life at stake in this way. It was like working for Caligula.
The book is densely packed with myriad facts, which makes it difficult to read, even if one is reasonably well-informed about the period. I found it difficult to finish more than ten pages at a sitting. There was just too much to absorb. That is why I chose to rate the book only four stars.
`A mind-bending experience, but well worthwhile.

Excellent book, excellent photographer!Review Date: 2007-01-18
Bruno Poinsard might not be a name on the forefront of the nude photographer world yet, but if this book is any indication of what's to come you can bet that he's going to be.
Starting from the great cover shot and continuing through almost every page inside, this collection shows off perfect shots one right after another like a machine gun. This work is clearly heavily fashion influenced and is very contemporary: this work is typical in the sense that you can see pictures like these in many top-end fashion rags, but here you have the added bonus of nudity. That typicalness is the one short coming in this collection, but there are indications that this guy is making his own mark on the subject and if that aspect grows he could be the next Andreas Bitesnich. This is an excellent book, extremely well laid-out, the quality of the paper and the printing are excellent, the size is big and bold (nice!), and the book feels like quality. I'd have liked to see more pages. But 140 isn't too bad.
So great photography, great production quality, and let's mention the subjects. His choices in models are excellent. All these beautiful, youthful fashion girls with waif-like bodies. Very nice.
So why the 4 Stars and not 5? As I mentioned the work is typical of it's genre. There are a lot of photographers whose work is also excellent and also looks a lot like this. That said, Poinsard clearly has >>something<< that is "him" and I'd like to see him define that further in his next book. Also the price could be a bit lower considering there are just 140 pages in this book. Not highly overpriced, but a bit too expensive for this size. Those two factors are enough to take away one star.
But this is still a great book and well worth having. You won't regret this purchase if you like trendy-sexy-cool photography of beautiful girls.

Aptly Titled: A Paean to the Masculine FormReview Date: 2005-11-11
Presented completely in rich duotones, every page (with the fine exception of some double paged layouts) features muscular men at times fully nude, at times with portions of clothing or drape, at times alone and at other times coupled with another model. The beauty of these images is not simply the beauty of the models (though that is ample), but in the moments of captured rapture, idylls of repose, and passion both active and passive. His use of light and light patterns highlight some of the models' skin: in one he creates striped bands of light and shadow while the model on the opposite page lies languid in a pool with plumeria blossoms, and in others he uses the magic of water spraying on the tanned forms to contrast liquid with solid.
With today's increasingly sophisticated audience willing to forego some phobic prejudices, this beautiful little volume should find a receptive readership. Highly recommended. Grady Harp, November 05
