Browning Books

I first found this book at the local library and liked it so much I ordered it from amazon. If thoughtful and different gift wraps are for you, this is the book to have.

Who can resist a beautifully wrapped gift? One that lets you know as soon as you see it that it is special! Marie Browning's Book "Wonderful Wrap" is the consumate guide to gift wrapping. Not as simple as it sounds, wrapping must take into account the size, shape and occasion. Marie's book gives great direction for making and decorating packages, materials (like fabric paint, glass beads, raffia and wire clips) finishing touches, ideas for embellishing gifts and over a dozen gift box/container patterns. Plus, just seeing the beautiful samples are an inspiration to create wonderful wraps for all your gifts. (Marie Browning has several other creative and inspiring books - but this one is especially gorgeous!)

If you want to have a book that teaches your child numbers and has a Christian message, then this is the book for you. I would suggest that you check your local Dollar Tree store before you buy it online since I bought all 4 of the books in this series there for a dollar a piece. All four of them are wonderful books! My 19 month old twins love them!

For coaches at all levels of football, this series is an excellent way to experience the thought processes of the best prep coaches in the nation. Highly recommended.

excellent background history of Arkansas. It is directed and elementary children, but is entertaing and informative with alot of good pictures. I would have liked a little more specifics on the american native people. Particularly their names, as I have toured Arkansas and ther are alot of memorials to specific people such a Sarricin or Saracen in Pine bluff. Also, arkasas was pivito durin the wartime for WW2.

This book is a recount of the impact that a mentally challenged child has upon other family members. It is a wonderful and honest story about achievement and happiness and illustrates what can be accomplished with love and hard work.

I happen to be the author of this book, so I have first hand experience what it is like to be the sister of a mentally retarded child. Many years have passed since our childhood and Sue and I are now in our sixties, but our God has been very good to us as we both enjoy excellent health and happiness. Sue is living independently and totally loves it. She helps older citizens in her apartment with their trash carry out and they pay her $1.00 for each time she helps them.

I know that from time to time, you as parents of handicapped children, will feel hurt, cheated and yes, you will doubt that there is a God, but you are special parents or you would not have been chosen to care for this wonderful human being. Just hang in there and trust that life gets better with each accomplishment that your child demonstrates for you. Much love

Growing up in Alabama I had heard about the tradition of Alabama Football. The only history I was familiar with prior to this book was Paul "Bear" Bryant 70's-80's. I didn't know about the earlier years of Alabama football. After reading this book I understand the RICH Tradition of Alabama football. This book is a History book of Alabama football. I reccommend this book to any college football fans,especially Alabama fans who like me may only remember the Bryant 70's-80's years.Knowledge is the key to understanding Alabama Football. Buy the book.

Nothing is better for historical reference to the mood and texture of a particular time than the public writing of that time. This is, I agree, politically incorrect and quite telling. If you want to know what was seen, heard and felt by the people in California in 1846, (a year before the Mormon Pioneers got to Utah,) and 1852, then give this a read. Go and rent, "Paint Your Wagon," and make a night of it.

This is the definitive reference work on Browning .22 caliber rifles. It is especially valuable for the grade II and grade III semi-autos as it has examples of engraving by the FN master engravers. Also, it has pictures and descriptions of the various Browning cases and which years each one was used. Much of the information is not available elsewhere, a real jewel but scarce as there were only 1000 printed.

Deals with Robert Browning not simply as a poet, but rather as the exponent of a system of ideas on moral and religious subjects, which may fairly be called a philosophy.
