This "Diary" was not written by Margaretha Zelle aka Mata Hari it's not even a diary it's just the pornographic fantasy of an unnamed writer.This was a huge dissapointment I would give it no stars if the option existed

This book is a waste of time. The whole Jesus Seminar crowd is a movement with an agenda. If you used the ideas about history this guy goes by, half of history wouldn't exist. It is like trying to write a history of early America, but saying we can't use any American sources because they might be biased.

Brandon is the reason I don't buy G.I. Joe comic anymore. This guy turned out some of the worst G.I. Joe stories that could be put together. Why they would let this guy write comics about characters he hates or does not understand is beyond me. Please skip this book and look for ones by Larry Hama.

This is extremely poor value and the most disappointing digital transaction I have ever made. The figures are missing from the text and there is truly nothing of any substance in the article. I believe people still want serious value for $6 and considering the time involved in just purchasing this article I am in a deficit situation. This should never have been placed for sale. Doesn't Amazon have an editor?

The story begins (as too many comics do these days) with thinly veiled versions of iconic heroes running around a world like our own. They're moderately interesting however just as we get to know them an accident transports them to another Earth without superheroes.

The thinly-veiled Superman character goes nuts, kills the others and dies at the hands of the Batman clone.

The end.

The back cover promises "Nobody learns anything. Everybody dies." Well at least they're honest.

only one start since the seller...gave me a poor very poor custimer service...and I missed my first test...og well...

I failed to notice the publisher. Prometheus has only one objective: to descredit as much as possible of everything not fitting in their close-minded perspective. So I bought the book, hoping it would give me a historical perspective on Spiritualism. Which it promises. But doesn't. At all.
Mrs Brandon has made up her mind from the beginning. Being a buddy of Martin Gardner and James Randi, that is what can be expected.
Not that the book is not entertaining. It is. Obviously Mrs Brandon is a journalist, out to make fun. She is not a historian. She is not concerned in the least with truth. From the start she only mentions everything that fits in her rubbish-frame, and all the facts, proof, everything that might, just might, point in another direction, is left out. I'm not a spiritualist, but I would be ashamed of myself if I thought that all the people who REALLY did their jobs in investigating the phenomena of early spiritualism, were just gullible idiots. There was a lot of trickery and money making and falseness, but that doesn't explain away everything. Mrs Brandon fails to mention a lot. In terms of debunking she did a wonderful job. In terms of being honest, she failed. Miserably.
If you are looking for history, don't buy this book!

Because his X-Force mini-series relaunch wasn't enough macho mutant mayhem, Rob Liefeld returns once again with this X-Force mini. Taking place right after the events of X-Force: The Legend Returns, X-Force: Shatterstar focuses on, well, Shatterstar. Cable is dead (yeah, sure he is) and Shatterstar is up against mutant assassins and...well, something to that effect. You see, the overall storyline is kind of hard to follow, and saying that story has never been one of Liefeld's strong suits is, well, saying it lightly. And of course, we can't forget his "artwork" now can we? That's right, the inperportioned character models, ungodly muscled and incredibly busty. Yeah, it's like 1992 all over again. Chances are if you pick this up then you know what you're getting. The better question would be, why are you even bothering. Unless you have some kind of die hard thing for an early 90's nostalgia trip, avoid this like the plague.
