my four year old and one year old just love Boz!! (me too in fact!) this book is a bit childish for the four year old, but just perfect for the one year old. we read it often AND...there is a page on Boz, Drew and Gracie brushing their teeth happily and it really helped him to get better about us brushing his teeth. we talked about how Boz doesn't cry when brushing his teeth and it worked!!

Brandon is the cutest little boy I have ever seen. He thinks his day is so bad because as it starts out with everything going wrong, from the perspective of a 6 year old, and then it gets better and he is happy because it turns out to be a really good day. Your kids will love it and want to read it over and over again. That's what my 5 year old wants to do.

Not your typical sports story

I received this book as a gift and my first thought was that I didn't want to read a sports story. I was pleasantly surprised when I got into the book. YES, it is a sports story and YES it is so much more. The authors really give great insight to the life of a young person in the high school sports world and the struggles of young Christians in the school enviroment. I applaud Brandon for sharing his story.

This was the book my daughter Elise enjoyed the most in her 4th grade class. A delightful account of how women shaped the country's destiny as our nation moved westward. I would highly recommend it for any young adult boy and girl who is interested in our past

This autobiography is a terrific read. Think Frank McCourt without the heartache. There are many moving moments, and moments of great warmth.

Lest we foget...

Before Trudeau, socialism and Quebec separatists, Canada was once a great nation. Our efforts in the first and second world wars were unmatched, and this book pays tribute to Canadians' bravery and fortitude with a sampling of pieces from the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. Best: the stunning Frank Johnston watercolour, page 71, called "Looking into the Blue." Worst: the uninspired, uninspiring introductory message from our Minister of Culture, the oleaginous Sheila Copps.
