uselessReview Date: 2003-08-29
It contains nothing of value as far I can tell. It won't tell you how to configure Samba for file and print sharing with windows. It mainly just prattles on with a bunch of crap about some 'fictional' company that is the purpose for confuring windows and linux to coexist.
Seriously, this book stinks. Perhaps it's just too philosophical for me? But then I like my books to have a function and purpose and get down to brass tacks with the concrete, useable knowledge. Not drivel.
Give this book a VERY wide berth and save your cash.

Good title - terrible contentReview Date: 2005-08-10
The only worse read I've ever been subject to was Cecelia Ahearn's Whatever it was called. People who have this standard of writing shouldn't be called authors and certainly shouldn't be daubed as "witty" or "compelling" as my back cover foolishly advertised.

Worst Book Ever Written!Review Date: 2002-12-04
It's hard to give a sense of how bad the plot is without "spoiling" it. Let's just say that although it takes place mostly in Barnegat Light, New Jersey, Saddam Hussein is pivotal character. Also, the genre can roughly be categorized as "sci fi". The book is not, I repeat, not an attempt at satire or humor.
Stay away.
