This book is a riot! A very fun read, perfect for the beach or whenever you need a spiritual pick-me-up. These authors are down-to-earth and bring important spiritual matters to a level that can be easily grasped and enjoyed. The stories are side-splitting, but they pack a vital message. Okay, I'm biased because one of the authors is my mom, but I at least I can assure you from an insder's perspective that these authors are the genuine article!

My father gave this book to me as a teenager, and though I enjoyed it I didn't truly appreciate its wisdom until I read it again recently. Is it possible to become a champion in all of life in just 6 short months?

In this parable, that possibility is real and the author even provides a workbook at the end to help focus your energy. This truly is a 'David and Goliath' tale... with David being you, me, or anybody else, and Goliath being the doubts and fears keeping us from reaching our true potential.

Be forewarned, this book was a limited self-published printing. Getting ahold of it is difficult (As of the time of this writing, Amazon doesn't even have an image of it online!) and the book now costs at least 4 times more than the original price.

Even then, it's still well worth the money to buy and effort to find. This book will make an especially excellent gift to anybody that is success-minded.

This book covers Ketterings boyhood to adult life and conveys many of the things that probably led to the great products he developed. The book is well written and contains many interesting facts that really give you and idea for the type of person Kettering was. Thanks to the author for writing it.

I bought this coloring and activity book when I found out the movie would be showing soon. We took my 6 yr. old granddaughter to the movie and then gave her the book afterwards. She loved it. One year ago I had bought on Amazon the hardcover edition of Charlotte's Web and she had read it with her mother and so has become an expert on the movie and activity book. Great item.

This work of Thomas Middleton wonder about the nature vs nurture issue. Are we preprogrammed to be who we are or does our upbringing shape who we are? In this play, we are given several examples of love and marriage and how these things can be corrupted. What Middleton asks is: Are marriage and love corrupted by people themselves or is it a corrupted institution from the start? He also pays close attention to the value of money and commodities. Marriage was a money-making venture during the Renaissance and in some places, it still is. You have to keep asking yourself while reading this play if, in Middleton's society, true love is possible and, if so, how can it or will it eventually overcome a society based on material possessions and monetary value?

This is an outstanding book. Mr. Boyd has done a great job explaining in detail the surroundings of the Chatooga watershed and the river - rapid by rapid, trail by trail. He gives details of the upper sections and how the river is used for trout fishermen all the way down to the infamous Five Falls and the excitement it brings to kayakers and rafters. The author goes through great efforts in outlining the potential dangers associated with whitewater and also provides the reader with very graphic visuals of the beautiful scenery unmatched by this area of South Carolina and Georgia. I am familiar with this river and have read this book along with a previous edition. The information provided about access points to the river are very accurate and will not take a newcomer to a uncertain location. The author has put in a great deal of effort in providing the reader with a useful and accurate resource to the Chatooga watershed and one can immediately notice that the author has a special place in his heart for the Chatooga River.
