A good reference source for Business school students at the undergraduate and Graduate School Level.

In telling the life story of the almost forgotten British virtuoso jazz/R'n'B/rock musician, Graham Bond, author Harry Shapiro gives a masterclass in writing rock biographies. Well written, thoroughly researched and objective throughout, he charts the highs (too few) and lows (too many) of the life of a musician's musician. Without Graham Bond there would have been no Cream, no Colosseum and no jazz rock. His recorded legacy can only hint at the excitement, innovation and forward thinking nature of the music. Harry Shapiro does a first rate job at explaining what could have been - and what went wrong. The book, although not shown on Amazon's listings, is now available in an affordable paperback edition.

This is the definitive book on Graham Bond...uh...make that the only book on Graham Bond...and best of luck finding a copy of it anywhere! But seriously folks this book is the definitive study of Graham Bond - the man as well as his music. If you're a fan of Graham Bond, I encourage you to hunt down a copy. This, however, will require patience and perhaps some bucks! Best of luck!

A truly remarkable book by the author, who found herself in a situation and instead of giving up she changed the laws regarding it. This book is a must have for all in this situation for it is a handbook of hope and information.

Susan Hoffman has given us true insight as to how to turn personal tragedy and loss into something positive and useful. A must read for not only every grandparent who has had to experience this for themselves, but for every parent who believes they are not doing profound damage to a child they are robbing of their grandparent.

Rebecca Bond's THE GREAT DOUGHNUT PARADE tells of small Billy, who has a doughnut tied to his belt and finds himself leading a parade as a result. With its rollicking rhyme and fun paintings, it's a cheerful, fun easy read for beginning picturebook enthusiasts.

My daughter will not go to bed until we have purused every page of this wonderful book and spotted each character along the way. It's a lovely read aloud.

I've had this book for four years. I leave it on my kitchen table for guests to browse. Most everyone will end up reading at least 2-3 excerpts to whomever may be within ear-shot. They love it! It's definately a conversation starter. I plan on purchasing it for friends and family this Christmas.

As a parent, I try my best to create a home environment which is happy, healthy and safe for my family. The ideas I came across in this book have helped me in my efforts to do just that. From tips on eco-friendly cleaning, to food storage, from saving energy to nutrtitional tips... it has a little bit of everything! It is well written, easy to read - and a great book to keep on hand to refer to later on. It is the type of book which gets you thinking... and has you looking at your kitchen, and even the rest of your home... in a whole new light!

This book is especially useful for someone who doesn't understand the basics of bond investments. It explains these investments in clear and easy-to-understand language. A good reference for investors who have limited experience in bonds.

This book came into my life when I was trying to decide whether to take off on my own to travel around the world. The tips and realistic advice about women traveling indepentently inspired me to pursue my travel dream. Marybeth Bond has a writing style that instantly makes you feel comfortable. She explains the ins and outs of travel in a way that makes it all seem possible. I would recommend the book to anyone considering a trip abroad on her own.

This is a great book; Linda Goodnight is probably the BEST author of the Love Inspired line of books. She really has a talent for making the charaters "3D" and interesting. You feel Drew's pain in this story, as well as the sweetness he discovers can be had in life. But don't stop with this book. Read all three of the books in Linda Goodnight's "The Brothers' Bond" series.

I enjoyed this book so much! I would have enjoyed A Touch of Grace and A Season for Grace also and wish I had read them first. I plan to do so soon. However, when I read this one, I loved the characters and the way the Lord worked in their lives. Larissa was so devoted to Drew and no matter what he did to push her away (because of past guilt); she did not let him get away with it. I loved the epilogue because what they both wanted came together!

I found this book a great read. It covered little things not usually included in space books like what the astronauts heartrates got to during critical manoevers. I would recommend it to anyone interested in space.

This is one of the few good books that there is now, in my opinion, about space flight. Not only does it focus on every single detail of the american space program, but it also focuses on the russian space program. Have you ever wondered about just what happened after that orbit or just when that launch was? Just grab HEROES IN SPACE:FROM GAGARIN TO CHALLENGER to find out. This book is, in my opinion, one of the best books available on space flight right now.

I read this book in a little over a week. great book on different types of investments ,etc. a lot of deep game in this book its deep , lots of material and a great book. get it!

Since I am just learning about the investment world I have read ten books so far about how to invest, where to invest, how much one should invest, and so on. "How To Invest The Smart Way" by Stephen Littauer is the best investment book that I have read. Since it covers Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds it covers hows to invest in each and what to watch out for in a very concise manner. I borrowed this book from our local library and I hope to purchase it in order to have it as a resource book for future use. Of the ten books that I have read so far this is the only one that I have selected to put into my own library. So if you want to learn the basics about investing that is in a clear, concise, and understandable language then select this book.
