Bloom Books

Having just come from a conference given by Dr. Bloom I can whole heartedly say that this is one book every counselor, teacher, youth worker or simply anyone interested in bettering society should read. I have found the techniques presented here exceedingly helpful to my own work as a counselor/advocate of youth. Truama theory is a fascinating way to address what is really happening to people I see every day. The perspectives presented in this book, if heeded, just may help us down the path towards a safer society we so deperately need to go in the world and the U.S. more directly. Please, read this book and also Creating Sanctuary by Dr. Bloom and watch as your thoughts expand to see the world through the eyes of the victim.

I've done Baatz' designs before, but these florals have pushed me to try them as pillows rather than framed works. The colors are spot on! the charts are easy to follow.

Debbie Bertram and Susan Bloom's THE BEST BOOK TO READ addresses a common problem: how a child can choose a book to read among all available. A fun rhyme accompanies a survey of different kinds of books that invite an avid reader at the library. Michael Garland's large full-page bright color drawings lends excitement.

This book is a beautiful, fun, and sweet book about friendship! it really inspired me ! I read it again and again!

A pleasure to have and hold.

I used this book in both my undergraduate science courses and those in medical school during the first two years. This text has excellent photos of electron microscope images, as well as micrographs, schematic depictions, photomicrographs and more. I have seen all or most of these depictions in many of my practical examinations and was adequately prepared because of this book. The text is clear, concise and informative. I highly recommend this book without hesitation. Good luck finding one, though! My histology instructor really wanted to buy mine, but I wouldn't sell!

As with any garden venture, a little digging may be required to find a copy of this big, beautiful book, but I can absolutely guarantee the succulent harvest is more than worth the effort! Flammarion is a French publishing house known for its lavish art volumes and Bloom Book, lush in both concept and delivery, is no exception.

At 190 pages and generously sized at 10" x 13", the hot pink paper cover on the hardbound volume hides an elegant, pure white binding, which gives no clue of the deep, rich, almost surreally pop and always artful, photos within.

Part of the allure is in the surprise of scale within these pages. An exquisite blossom which may be only a few inches across in reality as we know it is oh-so-much larger than life here, a full-bleed from border to border, and trading some of its small intricacies for an in-your-face floral experience. Here and there, somewhat shockingly, a human figure intrudes, dripping in wet, floral-inspired, and color-infused pigment, or dancing a cancan, headless, in a vivid yellow petal skirt.

The text is poetic and the inspiration palpable. Bloom expands the sensual boundaries of any ordinary garden book and once you've had it sitting on your coffeetable, all others will pale in comparison.

This book, filled with beautiful photographs, was a sanctuary to explore my feelings and establish new life goals. This journal is organized in a way that helped me focus my ideas on what is important to me and it provided ample space to write down these ideas for future reference. This book is a keepsake that imparts tremendous wisdom for living life in a positive and joyful way. Its lessons are understandable and the author's use of garden metaphors is an easy way to remember this wisdom. I've used the book to review and enhance my goals several times over. It's not a book that collects dust on my bookshelf! It's made a great gift for others, too!

Weisel uses his life experiences to teach and delight. BLOOM is a non-stop read! His vignettes are powerful and all can relate to his words of wisdom. The author's a lover of acronyms, and I soon found myself remembering the virtues of positive living easily. This book has been a wonderful addition to my life!

This is a very nice book, because it tells you all the top 10 things in Paris, such as scenic spots, museum, parks, restaurants, walk, and galleries and so on. It also gives you a brief introduction of each place. It provides a map with each top 10 site marked so that you know where to find in Paris. Moreover, it is well printed and light-weighted.

In a word, it is a good choice for your first trip to Paris.
