Blair Books

I bought this book because it was the only tour book in the one book store we came across. I didn't expect much. I was thrilled. A nice amount of history, flora, fauna and a great description of the various parts of the island. We used it when we went on driving tours of various stretches of road. It also has some great recommendations for resteraunts.

My apologies -- I haven't read "Explore Maui," I read Mr. Pruitt's other book, "Explore Kaua'i," but I didn't see that one for sale on Amazon. But I just wanted to tell those folks looking for Maui books that if "Expore Maui" is anything like "Explore Kaua'i," then it's GREAT! Mr. Pruitt does a wonderfully detailed job and the book is beautifully produced with lots of great color photos and maps, and detailed reviews of places, restaurants, etc.

And it goes without saying -- if you're also going to Kaua'i, if you can find "Explore Kaua'i," you should pick that up. Another great Kaua'i book is "Ultimate Kauai."

Today you see hundreds of new books about the coming apocalypse. These books are incredibly popular because we all know in our heart the end is near. Now are you ready for the shocking truth? Rev. Blair's book is not recommended to the one who has hardened his heart to God. I do recommend Final Warning to any God fearing Christian that is ready for the truth about God's plan for our future. After reading Rev. Blair's book Final Warning, you will realize this truth and recognize how oblivious we are to the evil influence that has infiltrated our culture, blinded us to the truth, and hardened our hearts toward God.

Final Warning was a great read! Insightful thoughts and points of view - I would recommend this to everyone. It difintely gave me something to think about and expanded my mind. Delivery was quick and the book was in perfect condition.

Reading and collecting garden books has become a hobby of mine, and this is by far the best of my collection. The landscapes in this book have been refined over centuries, by both man and nature. I look at this book repeatedly, for enjoyment and for ideas in sketching landscape designs

Open this book and you'll enter a world of sun-kissed villas, exotic foliage, colorful orchards, shadowed walkways, and incredible views overlooking the water. The photography simply took my breath away! I must have looked through the book a half a dozen times before I even began to read the text. If you're planning to visit the area let this serve as an inspiration from the usual tourist traps. I've been to Naples several times but this visually stunning tome made me realize just how much I've missed. Can't wait to go back and explore those gorgeous gardens! This book is definitely a keeper!

I don't usually go in for this sort of book, but this one caught my eye because the author takes off with a few nuggets and writes whole, full-blown stories that quite often really do make the hair on your arms stand on end. Lots of good murder and madness stories instead of a bunch of filler.

Sheryl Monks' Ghostly Lighthouses From Maine To Florida, a gathering of fifteen folktales about lighthouses from the East coast. While the stories read like fiction, they are derived from reports and followed by directions for the would-be lighthouse visitor not scared off by spooks.

I originally bought this collection of Goal Setting Forms for my children, but quickly found myself making fast work of it for my own personal needs.

What you receive is a collection (multiple) of different forms, each with it's own purpose, and all designed to help you identify, plan, and post your goals for easy review and reinforcement. I highly recommend it for anyone of any age.

I have bought several of the books from The GoalsGuy series and was looking for tools that would help me to set my goals, not just keep them in my head. This collection is worth every penny and I highly recommend it. They are several types, each of which are helpful.

Any spudophile will love this book. A lengthy but fascinating introduction relates the history of the noble potato as well as useful tips for cooking and storing. Numerous types of potatoes are described in detail, each accompanied by illustrations and pertinent recipes.
The odd configuration of the book is unique and the spud photo on the cover looks as real as imaginable.

This book provides loads of ideas for wholesome and fun group dating activities. It will also spark your imagination for other group dating activities. The dangers of one-on-one dating during high school include date rape, premarital sex, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy, and unhealthy emotional attachment. This book will help you to participate in a wide variety of activities with your significant other. Find two other couples and really get to know your significant other without the pressure of one-on-one dating!

Kudos to Blair and Tristan Tolman for yet another useful book on dating! As a high school teacher I am often asked for creative ideas on dating. I used to scratch my head when asked, but now all I have to do is refer the teens to this book (and the author's previous book, "Dating for Under a Dollar"). Good, clean, activities that keep our kids out of trouble!

This book is an incredibly charming read, made even better by the beautiful pictures. I enjoyed it so much that I have given several copies of this book to friends and family. When I grow up (?), I want to be an archaeologist!!

This book not only lets you see what goes on inside the eye of a hurricane but it also lets you look inside the lives of the people on the outer banks. You will experience first hand what it would be like to have to face such a force of nature on the vulnerable strip of land on which they live.

I think we all know how sexy and frustrating it can be to be in love with someone who does not seem to return the sentiment - and it makes for some major tension in a romance novel! It's just all wham bam - and since the marriage happens earlier in the book than most romances you read of this era, the tilt of power and tension is very novel and exciting. It's almost a mystery novel wrapped inside a Regency romance. Very nicely done!

This was one of the more thought-provoking romances I have read in a long time. There are a lot of issues in this book and Catherine Blair has done a really good job in weaving all the elements and story line together smoothly. It is refreshing to see an Regency author that believes that not all men that went off to fight in the Napoleonic wars were heros that came back home without a twinge on their consciences. Viscount Hunter is full of guilt and rage and unfortunately chooses to try and deal with his problems on his own. His young wife, Amelia Harrow, is deliberately shut out of his life. She eventually comes to understand what drives her husband and grows up during the process. Do give this book a read, I highly recommend it!
