My husband really likes this booklet because it's not intimidating. He's not one to read a thick book. This booklet gives
concise and very helpful information about care of your raspberries/blackberries. I reccomend it for anyone starting with
these types of berries.

This title was purchased as a reference work for my MSW thesis. Topics of interest are *special needs adoption *single adoptive
parents *attributes that contribute to a successful or disrupted placement.
A very well written, understandable text. Somewhat expensive, but worth every penny, whether you are a researcher or a prospective adoptive parent - I am both.

The Alaska Wild Berry Guide and Cookbook is an excellent source for someone interested in making use of the many delicious
wild berries that dot the Alaskan landscape. With almost 50 kinds of berries growing wild here on the Last Frontier, you're
sure to be close to one or more that will work for jam, jelly or some delectable baked goods. The book's color photos are
particularly helpful. My only real complaint with this book is that I'd almost prefer to have a smaller "pocket-sized" guide
(sans recipes) for times when I'm out in the woods gathering berries. This would be particularly helpful for those hikes
when you're bringing along a visitor or someone knew to Alaska. I'm looking for a specific kind of berry, but they often
want to know the names of several varieties and it always seems to be the very ones that have long-since gone from my mind!
Despite this small complaint, I give this book 5 stars and recommend it to anyone wishing for more information on berries
in the Greatland!

This is an informative book. It's part of the "Ortho Books" series, so it's large format and well illustrated. This book provides
a lot of information on various varities of fruits, berries, & nuts, where they grow well, how to prune and train them, etc.
This book is a great reference, I learned a lot, and the price was right!

An incredibly fine documentation of the work of two amazing conceptual artists whose work was devoted to exploring the basics
of American life and history and exploding them into amazing works that forced one to look at the American world in new and
engaging ways. Every project was the result of faithful research, interaction with the community, respect for tradition and
their own personal contributions to the community at large.
The quality of the publication itself is a monument to Mel and Kate's work. Tang and MIT are to be lauded for their accomplishment.

By all American standards, Amos Berry was a fortunate man. He was an executive in a small manufacturing company, he had been
to college, his family was one of the oldest in town, he lived in a handsome new house with his good-looking wife and fine
son, and went regularly to the best country club. His son's lack of interest in becoming a businessman was perhaps his only
worry. What drove him, then to a cold-blooded, carefully concealed act of violence? What was in his life, or the life around
him, that compelled him to retreat from the 20th century?

A story of family tragedy and triumph

Andrea's Dream is a story about a family, a family much like many American families. They go on a vacation to some familiar
place to spend a few days enjoying the outdoors and a feeling of togetherness in a place far away from the routines of work,
school, and the hustle and bustle of urban living. Only this time, the Lincoln family is overtaken by the courses of events,
and unexpected tragedy takes control of their lives.
Joshua Berry takes the reader on a trip that every family dreads but never suspects will ever happen to them. A boating accident leaves Andrea in a coma, her younger brother in distress, and her mother and father feeling helpless as the pains of tragedy disrupt their lives.
The story centers on Andrea's coma-induced dream and the guilt feelings that her brother experiences for not being able to help his sister at a critical moment, feelings that lead him into self-destructive behavior. While in her coma, Andrea struggles with herself as she attempts to confront her fears and discover why it is that she can't remember the recent past events and a lingering but distant memory that becomes the key to the answers of her fears.
Read this book to discover how hope, love, and determination can overcome tragedy and bury the kind of fears that haunt every family.

I met Anne Marie Weiss-Armush while living and working in Saudi Arabia from 1983-1985.
She is a warm friendly person who participated in the International Woman's Guild which I was Vice President of.
I learned a lot about the Middle East and the Cuisine of the Middle East countries from her and her book.
I highly recommend it. The recipes are truly authentic and easy to make and delicious. I like that there are recipes representing several countries.
She has also included little stories about the recipes and the countries they are from. And she has a list of Arabic terms translated into English and a conversion table for foreign equivalents and the metric conversion table which are very useful.
My book is rather worn now as I have made many recipes from it and my family and guest have really enjoyed them all.
