Brightheart is a lovely fascinating book. It is all about that Amy a girl rides on a carousel and she has a magical adventure she will have to help somebody along the way, can you find out who it is? You will find out it here. My opinion is that girls 6+ will enjoy this book.

The quality of the photography is unsurpassed. The color is magnificent! Anyone who enjoys books, gardens, Morocco, or the color blue (Majorelle Blue) will love this book.

MAJORELLE tells the history of the gardens in Marrakesh, first laid out by Louis Majorelle in the 1920's. The beautiful shade of blue that is used throughout the gardens, in the tile work, the paint, the walkways, the ponds and the plants and flowers themselves, was the start of the term "Majorelle Blue". The grounds are now owned by Yves Saint Laurent and are open for tours.

The back of the book shows the layout of the gardens, old photos of Marrakesh, the interior of the salon in Majorelle's villa and a photo of Majorelle, himself.

The small size of this book gives it an added preciousness that makes it a great choice for gift giving.

This book is great. It is well written and very enlightening. Berg and Kessler tell a great story with an important message included. Highly recommended.

Used this book for my European Immigration Pattern MA Disertation. Really good study, gave me a long desired structure in this moving world of EU history.

Williams' book is excellent. While it has been hard not to notice the swell of support worldwide for these memorial museums, no one (as far as I know) has approached them to explore what's in them, why they are being built, and what they mean for the preservation of memory.

The book effectively considers how histories of genocide, terrorism and other terrible events are shown through objects, in photos, and in architectural symbolism. Williams has a sharp critical eye and a fluid, likeable writing style. He asks some broad philosophical questions about what we expect to gain from the construction of museums devoted to the most awful aspects of our shared heritage. Very highly recommended.

I'm halfway done reading this well written and poignant book . Janine Berg is leader in bringing to light the utter facts of the ecomnomic situation in Chile, many points in which the worlds workforce and equality leaders can learn from and put into there own outlook . short-term to the longterm. I would not recommend this book for guidance. It is merely a different point of view. Why 5 stars? Because it is well written and if you read it with an open mind you will enjoy it more than if you are seeking for answers.

This collection of the papers submitted at this international symposium surprisingly thorough examination of the issues involved. I wish now that I had accepted the invitation to attend the event as I assumed the reason this shindig was organized was to allow some middle-aged health professionals some much needed respite from their wives.

Wow! I had read Michael's best known novel, Victoria, but had no idea what an amazing personal history he had or what a central figure he is in middle eastern literature. How much more timely can you get. He was born in Iraq and had to emmigrate to Israel in the 50s. He has been an outsider in so many ways. Berg's book puts this all in perspective. She gives the personal and literary history that pulls it all together.
