This is the best meditation CD I've ever bought. The sound of gongs and temple bells gives you a silence state of mind.
It is very good to pratice meditation, not like other CD where there's only music. This CD gives you a feeling of being in
the temple. I use it not only when I meditate, but when I need some peaceful sound especially when having a body massage.
It really blank your mind and clear your thoughts. This CD sampler include 8 different recording sound for you to select
which fits you the best before buying the full version. I highly recommend those who's been searching for meditation music,
consider this CD.

I have to read Changing Plains again and again! It was so much fun; full of intrigue and suspense, and credible characters
I've never found in a book. After page six, the adventure begins and I couldn't put it down. The book took me from England
to Africa and back, with trips to San Francisco, (a riot) and a serious venture of reconciliation to Nepal. There are elephant
poachers, Buddhist monks, bespoke tailoring, a violinists, coffee plantations, equestrian riding, romance, falconry, a conniving
ex-wife, and a cat loving protagonist who finds herself in the right place, but in the wrong body. This book is flying with
me on my next trip to England.

I loved this book and thought it made me reach a higher intelligence level. I especialy loved the accent of the narrator.
It was the best book I have ever read. The experience was overwhelming. The price may be big but it is worth it.

If you're an antique car lover then Chariots of Chrome by Simon Bell and George Fischer is the book for you. Lavishly done
with rich, full color, well done photographs, Chariots is a feast for the eyes. Cubans, it seems, have maintained hundreds
of vintage American cars while most of the world has "moved on." Cut off from the American car market, Cubans, once the largest
importer of Detroit automobiles, have been forced to nurse along what they have. Whether equipping these cars with Russian
truck engines, hand forging their own replace parts, or taking parts from cars no longer able to keep rolling, the Cubans
of the last half of the twentieth century have proven themselves very adept at improving. This book is as much a tribute
to their resourcefulness as it is to the cars pictured between the covers.
If you're a lover of things old and wonderful photography then Chariots of Chrome is the book for you. You'll also come to respect the mechanical genius of the Cuban car owner and mechanic.

This wonderful book shows how mistaken the popular view of Queen Victoria is, of a dull, straightlaced humorous woman. In
fact, she was a fun-loving person with a wonderful sense of humour, and quite surprisingly broad-minded. Her life was filled
with laughter, and this book is full of marvellous anecdotes about her. Her opinions wer often very unconventional, for instance
she was sympathetic towards unhappily married women, even to the point of condoning adultery, a very unusal view for her time.
She was fiercely opposed to the sabbatarian movement, which wanted to prevent people from enjoying themselves on Sunday.
She surrounded herself with people who amused her (only a person with a strong sense of humour could have tolerated john Brown.
)You cannot read this book without becoming an ardent fan of this most misunderstood Queen.

I have know Dr. Peter Bell for over 20 years although I have lost track of him recently.
We had him speak at our national Federation of Parents Conferences on several occasions. There were usually 800 - 1000 attendees, mostly caucasian but I can tell you that Dr. Bell's wise words are absolutely color-blind. They made perfect sense and I will continue to try to locate him. "Chew on Things Workbook for Fellow Worriers" is the follow-up to Iris Bell's photo and quote book "Chew on Things-It Helps You Think," inspired by her dog Casey B. Worrywart, Dogtor of Philosophy. Iris Bell capitalizes on two big audiences with this book: dog lovers and worriers. There are a lot of both out there.
The workbook is structured in a journal style with lined pages for the worrier to fill in Date, Worry, Woe-Is-Me Rating, and Next Ball. Opposite of this page is a quote and a blank spot for an image. The concept is that the worrier will draw, collage, or somehow visually represent their worry on this page to accompany the written expression.
The Woe-Is-Me Rating is listed in the back of the book and is a cute system devised by the dog with a rating from Hyperventilate to Bark Like a Doberman and Run Like a Rabbit. After rating your worry, you write down your Next Ball. This means what will you do next or move on to instead of getting stuck in your current worry. Iris tells a story in the Acknowledgements about Casey never catching and returning a ball, but always dropping it and moving on to the next ball. This is the analogy she uses for dropping worry and moving on.
I really liked the quotes in this book. There are over 100 quotes and they all relate to worry. The author really did some research to come up with some of these. It shows her dedication to the subject matter. She put a lot of thought into this workbook as a practical hands-on tool for a daily worrywart. While I think it is too simplistic of an approach for someone with an Anxiety Disorder, it is a great idea for those who worry consistently for no good reason. Writing and drawing the worry is a good way to give the worry the attention it wants, and then no more.
I recommend readers get both "Chew on Things" and the "Chew on Things Workbook for Fellow Worriers" for a complete collection of fun quotes and readings about a dog, his owner, and his worries. Maybe it will inspire you to look to your own dog for some pet therapy and words of wisdom.

The poetry in this book is delightful. Wonderful poetry for children and adults alike. Poetry about the seasons, months (Zodiac's),
Christmas, Easter, Kings and even Saints and a poem for every letter of the alphabet. The only thing is, I think these poems
are best read to children by an adult. Not that that is bad, but some of the words and rhyming sound better when being read
by an experienced reader.

This book is full of wonderful poetry, not just for children. I only wish I had grandchildren to read it to.
In case you didn't know or aren't familiar with it, the song by Cat Stevens, "Morning Has Broken," was taken from a poem in this book.

This beautiful book is about the 14 Stations of the Cross. In all Catholic Churches, the Stations of the Cross are the chronicling
in pictures Jesus' last few days on earth and the events leading up to the Crucifixion.
The masterpiece illustrations make this book all the more appealing and will certainly help families bond and discuss the precepts of Catholicism and the significance of the Crucifixion. This is an excellent book for all ages.
