I purchased the 4 parts total review package with CD's and lectures etc. This is a terrible product. The review questions
are dated and irrelevant compared to the actual exam. The style of questions and material covered are not any where close
to what is on the actual exam. Also, the lecturers cover a tremedous amount of material. For that much money, I expected
short concise and to the point coverage that would optimize time spent relative to the score needed to pass. The course does
not offer you the TOOLS necessary to pass the exam. It simply reviews EVERYTHING and then says good luck. Also the free
continuing help they off is NOT FREE. You pay almost as much as you did initially. AVOID BECKER AT ALL COSTS.

I had read other negative reviews about this series but thought it might make a fun gift for an aunt or my father, so I took
the risk and ordered it anyway. I wish that I had listened to the others. There is very little if anything of value in this
book. I thought there might be good information about patterns of immigration that might be illuminating for my family, but
the data is far too general to feel like it is at all relevant to our family. It has things like the number of World War
I and II registrants with the last name of our family and where the most people with our last name reside in the United States
and Canada (i.e. in California or New York or in Calgary). To me, this kind of global and impersonal statistical fact is
of no interest or value. In addition, the paperback is small, thin, less than 100 pages and really not worth the price.
It is a nice idea in concept, but not in reality.

Belabors the Obvious, Misses the Elephant in the Room!

Becker begins by telling us that auto manufacturing is in an overcapacity situation worldwide, creating pressure on suppliers,
overhead costs, productivity, wages, and an incentive to build volume through filling niches. He then goes on to compare
quality, productivity, and costs by major manufacturer. Guess what, Japanese firms (especially Toyota) come out best. Innovation
is also important, and again, Japanese firms (especially Toyota) lead. (Becker fails to note that the three are closely related,
per the innovations of the Toyota production system.)
The "really bad news" is that Becker gives almost no attention to Korea and China - the latter being the proverbial elephant in the room because of its much lower costs and ability to quickly learn and move up the technology chain.
Save your money and time - study the Toyota Production System instead.

For some reason I expected this to be a wall calendar; it's a day-by-day calendar with VERY few recipes. Instead, most days
have no-brainer "tips", such as which items you can serve soup in. Unfortunately, it would cost as much to return it as I
paid for it. Even the dates aren't clear. FRUSTRATING!

This book is not "The World of the Cell"!!!!! It is the Notebook companion and you should CLEARLY state that in your title!!!!!
This book itself is poorly put together, and I as a student found it to be a waste of paper. BUT THE MAIN SOURCE OF MY FRUSTRATION
IS THAT AMAZON DID NOT CLEARLY STATE THAT THIS IS NOT THE TEXTBOOK BUT THE NOTEBOOK!!!!!!

So I had to buy this book for an art major class at school and it is horrible. She makes some good points throughout the
book but overall this is what she thinks
-you need to make political art
-the best art in the world is political art
-i, the author, am a wonderful all knowing, person who overcame all these difficulties and thus am fabulous
-women have an unfair disadvantage in the art world
-i, the author, will talk endlessly about my self, my beliefs on political art, and babble on, go on tangents, and waste you money, and paper by publishing this book.
The other (not mentioned) interesting points, can be brought up through discussion of this book, but you do not need to read the whole thing, you don't actually need to read this book, only to think about art.

There's even a part that says to go with your gut feeling when taking a test in school because that's the psychic ability talking. Man, if that actually worked then I'd have gotten straight A's.
Chapter two seems to be about frauds and phonies. Unless this is a list of every person who has ever claimed to have psychic powers then I would say that it's dangerously incomplete.
Please, don't delude your kid with this nonsense. If you're going to get them a fictional book then I would suggest at least getting one that represents itself as such.
