There is a scarcity of solaris books. This one is one of the few that actually goes into some details that you need in the real world. I have been a solaris administrator for 3 years and this is the only book that I found to be worth buying.

This book has good suggestions for where to go on the weekends. However, for long time Southern Californian such as myself, many of the trips are nothing new. Also, many of the trip sections are a bit too short and don't fully expand on the potental of each destination. However, for the price of the book, it does contain some interesting ideas.

This book covers what could be called NYC's "OJ" case. Charlie Becker was a crooked, ruthless cop. But did he REALLY order the execution of a gambling boss who had gone to the press about police corruption? ATE makes a pretty convincing case for his having been "framed" by the political powers that be.

The book also offers lots of glimpses into the old NY underworld.

"The All Better Book" takes about 10 minutes to read, but provokes thought for years thereafter. The book asks school age children how they would solve some of the world's most pressing problems. The answers and insights are humorous.

The simple way children view adult problems reminds us that sometimes the most basic answer is also the best one.

This book presents the role of women in Berber culture. It goes into great depth concerning the symbolism found in the arts of Berber women. For those who first glimpsed this world in Imazighen, the Vanishing Traditions of Berber Women, by Margaret Courtney-Clarke, the present work provides a study in great detail.

Dairy and letters home to his mother, by U.S. pilot, describing his experiences in training and flying for the Army's air service in WWI. By the time he was sent to the front to actually fight, the war was almost over, so there is little regarding combat but good descriptions of airplanes, training, air bases and morale of the flyers.

Becker was one of the most prolific and successful forgers of Roman and Greek coins ever, and this book does a great job of covering his work. There is the story about his work, and the motivation behind it, as well as numerous plates of his coins.

This book belongs in the library of everyone who considers himself to be a connoisseur of ancient coins. Many of Becker's coins are still out there and are still in circulation among collectors.....maybe you own one.

I have been using this book all year for my Sunday School class who are aged 6-8 it just the right level for all of them. for looking for something for this age group I highly recommend this book

it's greaaaaaat!... and that's all i have to say about that!... exept that it's good for reports and stuff.
