Topics covered include Faith and knowledge, Albert's general metaphysics (with a special study of the influence of the Book of Causes on Albert's thought, the eternity of the world, the immortality of the soul, and philosophical-theological anthropology. Albert's relationships to St. Thomas Aquinas and Nicholas of Cusa are also explored. There is a comprehensive up-to- date bibliography.

This book may be small, but it has an incredible wealth of information! It contains 500 facts about Arkansas, I have given it as gifts to those from Arkansas and outsiders alike, and ALL have said they enjoyed it. It has several eye opening facts about people from Arkansas and its natural assets as well. THIS IS A MUST READ.

Very interesting information. This book gives a great overview of different planetarium facilities as well as some interesting insight into the science of astronomy. There is also some fascinating related material at the end of the book about increasing public interest and participation.

I found this book very useful. I especially enjoyed the rear section that graphically showed the comparision between each plant. Plenty of photos and more specific than other books. Highy recomended

So many statistics books that claim to be introductions are not. This one really is. It is clear, with just the right amount of detail. Read this book first before reading other books on multiple regression.

I'm a film buff and have read lots of histories of film as well as books about how films are made and this one is far and away the best. It is a fully detailed, extremely well written account of all phases of the movies--from the magic of movies to the business of movies. A particularly interesting feature is interviews with people in all aspects of the movie biz from producers, to screenwriters, to directors, to editors, to cinematographers, to casting directors and so on. It's also thoroughly illustrated....some of the stills are priceless. This is simply a "must have" addition to any serious film library.

The authors use a step-by-step approach for forcusing on the creation of meaningful ritual in modern life. A must read for all those interested in crafting their own spirituality.

A seminal work of value both to artists and photographers. Beck was a professor at the Pratt Institute in NYC for over a decade in the early 19 century. He was widely known for his portrait skills. Later on he developed a unique "starch-painting" method that he used from the 20's to about the 40's. He is arguably one of America's great unknown artists.
This book is still coveted today by serious artists.
