If you are a Latter-day Saint you will probably like this book. This author has a very interesting viewpoint on life and his stories are very entertaining.

Deals with 6 stories from John: 1) the Samaritan woman, 2) the man born blind, 3) Mary and Martha, 4) Pilate, 5) Mary Magdalene, 6) Peter and forgiveness. Narrative analysis for laypeople!! Great stuff.

Bartholomew F. Brewer, converted, Discalced friar and priest, details his personal odyssey from the labyrinth that is Catholicism, to the life-changing decision he made to follow Christ and His teachings according to His Holy Word, and not the words of the Roman Catholic hierarchy. Anyone in doubt about the Catholic religion needs to read this book. It will open the eyes of anyone truly seeking the truth.

Keith and his Dad have spent a lot of time and money building their remote controlled model airplane. They love taking it flying together. So far Keith has stuck to just the basic flying, and let his dad do all of the fancy tricks. But today is Keith's big chance, his dad is ready for him to try some fancy flying. They both know how important this is, they see it anticipated on Keith's mom's face every time she comes to watch them fly. It's a good thing she's not there to see it this time; Keith is nervous enough as it is. If everything goes well they'll take it to the model airplane show.

All doesn't go well. The crash that they were all hoping would never happen is spectacular. Not in a good way. Keith is devastated and banishes himself to his room. Staring at the ceiling he remembers the model plane he saw in the pawnshop in town. Maybe it's still there. Maybe he can afford to buy it.

Keith hurries off on his bike. He is beyond ecstatic to see the model plane waiting for him in the window. After a rather confusing conversation with the pawnbroker (that perfectly and hilariously illustrates a generational cavern in speech patterns), the man takes the plane down for examination. The plane has been modified by its previous owner and has a strange and somewhat mysterious history. Keith is only more interested. He rides back home and convinces his parents to go right back with him and pick up the plane.

Keith decides to take the plane to the model show and fly it, even though he's never actually tried it out yet. He's sure he can handle it. Keith isn't the only one in for a surprise.

At times hilarious, at times suspenseful, a bit mysterious, consistently good. This is a great story, even for non-plane enthusiasts. In fact, my only real complaint is that I wish it were much longer!

I am a big fan of this book. I had a copy that someone borrowed and didn't return, I bought another copy. This is a great resource for anyone who is serious about developing interventions.

Nigel Bartholomew's novel "Private Sessions" is the best
novel that I have ever read, period. This writer has great promise. The book is full of excitement. Read his first
novel "Private Sessions", and you will surely see what I

this story was really good! It is the story of Jesus' crucifixtion from a tree's point of view. Who woulda thought? I really enjoyed this story and it reminds me that Jesus loves and died for all things.

The Pyrenean Mountain Dog by John Gordon is a book I have owned since 1980 and a book I enjoy returning to re-read. There are sections on the Origin and History of the Breed,the 3 Standards for the Pyrenean, grooming, whelping.feeding etc, much of what you will find in other books on Pyreneans today. There are many photos of Pyreneans from the UK in this book and it was of a great help to me to be able to see the grandparents, Gt grandparents of a young male I owned in 1981.The photos are all black and white and of an excellent quality. Books like this one were invaluable to the novice owner back then. With the rarity of this book today it now becomes "A Collectors Item" and I was most fortunate to obtain another copy for my friend from Jan Irving in Australia. The contents of this book today are most certainly on a par with more recent books on the Pyrenean Mountain Dog and if you can get a copy then good luck to you.

I love the pictures. It was an awesome book to read!
