I am afraid that this is more of a review of the car than the book. The Citroen DS was nothing short of revolutionary when it was introduced in the mid 1950s. The hydraulic system, which one could use to raise or lower the car, was both a dream and a nightmare. It would turn into the latter when it sprung a leak, not an infrequent occurrence. Then the car would literally hunker down, the bodywork inches from the road and sit looking very much like a beached whale. Driving it in this condition was impossible and even in their heydey, when they were as rare in this country as the proverbial hen's teeth, there were precious few mechanics around who would even get close to a Citroen. Sadly, their faults discouraged many potential buyers and Citroen hang on in the U.S. by a string for several decades, finally abandoning the market in the early 1970s.

Now to the book: If you own a DS (or even if you don't but have desired one from afar), this is an invaluable guide to working on them in your own garage. Mind you, this is not a task for the faint-of-heart. Citroen, like the French themselves, could be extremely perverse. Do not be surprised if replacing the headlamps requires removal of the engine.

This is a great text book for those in the nursing program!! it has photos and tons of great information within the text!! it is great for visual learners!! the text is clear and easy to read and comprehend!! the book is a little heavy- but it is packed full of useful information!

I have been coaching younger children for 4 years, and I wanted to get some new drills that I could use during practices. This book has a really good outline of offense, defense, rebounding and practice drills. There are also some very good points at the begining of the book on how to deal with parents and other coaches, etc... Overall this book is very good to design a practice plan for coaches who are either new to coaching basketball, or are looking for additional or different drills to run.

Probably still the best coaching cricket book. Detailed in explaining technichs in all different skills of cricket: bowling, batting, fielding. Every shot and every delivery are presented with basic skills description and advanced as well. Great explanation of out-swing and in-swing bowling.

I was interested in a book to learn tennis basics to help my daughter the love of the game that my wife and I both have. This is the one! Not only were the tips helpful to my daughter but we also learned a few things as well. This book should be in any tennis parents library.

This little book is chock full of more interesting info than a full sized book on ANY celebrity. Lucy fans will find it fascinating, riveting, informative and fun to read. Chock full of interesting trivia. I highly reccomend this book about Lucille Ball (and her varioous television incarnations), the greatest and most popular entertainer in the history of television.

This is an easy to read and insightful book about the role of communication in aging. It takes an up to date approach to many relevant topics for a student or an individual who takes their own care, or that of a loved one, seriously.

"The Complete Ball Workout" is a wonderful all around body exercise program. I experience some minor back problems and have osteoarthritis. Since regularly using the ball workout, my back and muscle pain is virtually non-existent. I've recommended this exercise workout to family and friends and encourage anyone to give this program a try.
