If you like Steven King you'll LOVE RP Kingsley!!!! The suspense in this book is definitely going to keep you glued to the book till you finish it. I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us in his next book.

Michael Thomas is one of the best authors writing on financial fiction. I have read all his books and am a huge fan..His books have contained plots and sub plots and are certainly packed with descriptive tales of intrigue and deceipt. Bakers Dozen does not disapoint. H.A. Baker is a tricky character..a man with honor that would face you in a duel today if you asked. This book is a great read..thanks Mr. Thomas for several hours of fun!

I checked this out from the library for my then almost 3 year old boy and he loves it. Had to return it finally to the library and others keep checking it out so time for us to purchase it. Beautiful, cheery pictures of jolly baker doing his thing with yummy looking treats. Fun to read out loud. Simple but a favorite.

This is a super book that I keep in my collection. It's a handy reference packed with unlikely ingredients found at home that will outperform any store bought remedies to green up and jump start your grass and shrubs. We purchased a house that had NO lawn, just a clay mixture of dirt, after planting seed three times and failing to produce grass, we followed the Baker's Dozen tricks and within another three weeks, we had neighbors stopping to ask how we managed to get such beautiful and lush grass. We were definitely the envy of our neighbor with a Garden of Eden landscape.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is a three act play that could be condensed to two acts. There are 8 characters, four male and four female. The action takes place in a railroad ticket office/snack bar and centers around a Dutch-American who comically brutalizes the English language as he studies his "how to be a detective" correspondence course, and attempts to follows its guidelines. It is a case of almost constant mistaken identity, rediscovery, and uninterrupted action. The audience and the actors will love it.

As a greenhorn pastor who just did his first funeral yesterday, I thank God for the Baker Funeral Handbook. When the time came to meet with the widow to talk about options for the memorial service, I had good ideas to present to her. When the time came to consider hard questions about how to frame the sermon, I had helpful advice. And while I was still nervous when the time came, I was prepared.

"The Baker's Son" gives sound and proven business advice that focuses on long-term success rather than the shortsighted practices that are seen widely (and suffered by customers!) in business today. This subject matter could make for a dull read, but Mr. Lunan has successfully created interesting and fun characters along with a storyline that I found truly entertaining as well as educational. Such a nice change from all the boring business principle books out there!

What originally drew me to this musical was the composer, Stephen Schwartz. Well known for his musicals "Godspell", "Pippin", and "Wicked" and for animated films "Pocahontas" and "The Prince of Egypt", Stephen Schwartz's music has been a favorite of mine.

The story is about a new baker and his wife who just arrived in a small town. The wife is unfaithful, falling in love with another, making the baker lose his want to live.

The music conveys the romance as well as the pain in wonderful songs. There are ballads as well as comedic songs, the most famous song being "Meadowlark". This is Stephen Schwartz at his best! I highly recommend this book of vocal selections!

An eventful time in the Baker household as the five charming 12 year quintuplet girls must all have braces-much to the horror of pretty and sometimes highly strung Zahava.
13 year old Bracha has been chosen for the school play , 9 year old genius Moishe is competing for a very prestigious honour in Talmud studies-the Most Valuable Bocher (MVB). Mr Baker is running for a seat on the town council.
Loads of excitement as well as nerves , as this wonderful Jewish family deals with the many challenges they are faced with
These books are an exciting and fun way of teaching Jewish children Yiddishkeit and family values.
