Come on,an article talking about the life on the family in their music? Tim Price went deep into the music. What a respectful
and historical addition to not only jazz but education.

Anything by Tim Price is a must to buy, this guy is serious.

Another masterpiece by Tim Price. This guy has so many good ideas in these books its like a saxophone life lesson. These solos are so correct that my private teacher ordered a bunch for his other students. The price is right no matter what way you look at it. I found a bunch of sax lessons by Tim Price also that are free on Sax On The Web, a website that hes on. Those lessons are free and a book onto themselves. This Cannonball is a life-study and history lesson of a Jazz master. I can honestly say this book changed my life. Tim Price has done it again! I hope i can find some more books of his because every transcript is crystal clear and correct, and the chords ar perfect without question. If you like Jazz Saxophone get this book!

From the word go, this book sucks you in like a moth to its flame taking you on a roller coaster ride of suspense and page turning emotions.
You immediately begin to feel 'one' with the character, a thirteen year old girl name Sam living with her abusive, controlling sister in The Bahamas in the absense of a mother and almost bed ridden father who longs to forgive her sister and love her as she ought to.
But things turn nasty when Claire her oldest sister decides to 'play nice' for a change and everyone is 'buying' it on the small beautiful island in the south Carribean sea, except Sam.
And what happens just when she decides to go against her better judgement and trust Claire anyway? i wont want to spoil it for you...but the ending is NO where what you think it may be.
Each chapter ends on a high that makes you longing for more long after the book is finished and love has found its way...or has it?
highly enjoyable reading.

Beautifully written and illustrated! Fun to read for all ages. My 6 year old son says it's his favorite book.
