All three items were in beautiful condition. The story is absolutely fabulous - especially if you are grieving about anything.

I purchased this book for my Daughter and son in law who lost their infant child. It was a great comfort for them

My family received this book as a gift when my mother passed away. We identified with it so well that when some friends lost a child, I decided to order a copy for them. I ended up ordering two copies and I had only had them a week when another friend lost her mother so I passed on the second copy as well. I imagine I'll be buying more copies before too long. My favorite part is when it talks about the world going on as if nothing happened. I highly recommend this book for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one.

This book has a very gentle way of describing ways that people experience grief. I bought it for my nine year old son but I got even more out of it than he did. I heard myself and other adults referring to the book when they would recognize a grieving behavior in themselves or others.

After the death of my beloved husband, I read a number of books on the topic of grief. This book was the best. It tells the reader in a succinct manner the healthy way to go through the grieving process. The book is good for all ages (including children). I have bought a number of copies and now give it to any close family member of friend who goes through a major loss in his/her life.

This is the original story by Annie Proulx as well as the movie script. Great for fans of the film as a collector item.

I had to purchase this book for a college course, otherwise I probably would never have read it. I found it boring and realized that it's probably better suited for either men who like cowboy stories, or people who are into studying how to create a screenplay from a move. The screenplay stays very true to the short story. The best part about this book is the essay in the back by Proulx. I suggest you read it before you read the short story as it answered my main question, which is why a straight woman in her 60s would write a story about rough cowboys who were having trouble accepting their sexual orientation.

This item took you through the entire life of the book to the screenplay to the movie. It was great reading what the writers said about the project and how it was a labor of love for everyone involved. It was wonderful reading how devoted everyone was to the project. Much how the two main characters were devoted to each other.

In an effort to check out my approach to writing a book adaption to screenplay, I thought it would be a good exercise to experience how others have done it. After reading the Brokeback Mountain short story, then reading the shooting script, then watching the film, I knew I was right on target. It is invigorating to experience and understand the progression from story to screenplay to film. The book also includes backround information from the short story writer, Annie Proulx and the two screenwriters, Larry McMurtry and Diana Ossana, which tops off the value of this book. Reading it is a great process, and once you've read the book, you'll appreciate the film even more.

This is an excellent addition to anyone's book collection - not only do you receive Annie Proulx's wonderful story, but you can experience Larry McMurtry's and Diana Ossana's sweet, lilting and poignant screenplay. Ennis and Jack jump off the page, fictional characters who have somehow become real, as we are transported with them through the most beautiful twenty years of their star-crossed lives. No, it is not a story about gay cowboys....it is a story about two young men who find love and happiness in an unlikely relationship, and simply don't know how to handle it. The part of this story that always grabs me is that through a simple twist of fate, the entire ending could have been different.

I suggest this book couple with the movie - seeing the screenplay come to life through Heath Ledger's and Jake Gyllenhaal's performances is spell bounding.

It was a fascinating read to see the short story move from Annie's simple prose to screenplay. And the chapters at the end which discuss the story and the filming of this heart-wrenching story is worth the price. I highly recommend it. Thanks for listening.

Both our sons loved this book . I bought this for our grandson, who, I am sure, will have as much fun looking for Goldbug as his dad did some 30 years ago.

I purchased this for a grandson's 2nd birthday and he just loves it. He has it virtually memorized by now but it is still his first choice at bedtime.

I bought this book with Scarry's A Day at the Airport book to help entertain my 23 month old during a cross country flight. My son wasn't as absorbed in Cars and Trucks as I'd hoped he be during the flight but in the weeks since he has been asking for the "Trucks" book every day. We narrate some of the pictures but he also spends some time looking at book every day on his own, paging through the book and absorbed in the illustrations (and commenting on the pictures occasionally, or at least as much as a near 2 year old can). We have other books with photos of vehicles which also interest him but this book so far seems to have more lasting appeal. I think it's the combination of the sheer volume and variety of the vehicles, interesting animals driving them, and just lots going on on each page.

Our 19 month old grandson loves Cars, Trucks and Things That Go, so this book is perfect for him. It is not too old for him. He looks and looks at the pictures on the pages and says the name of the object over and over.
He has learned many new words from having this book.

I recall reading this book to my younger sister many years ago.
I recently purchased this for a 6 year old. He squealed with delight.
It is his favorite R S book.

I took a chance and am pleased with the book. I had not viewed romantic relationships in the way he described, so I found it helpful.

One look at all the reviews and you notice they are all done by first-time reviewers with the same heading, writting style, and grammar. That should tell you something right there. I think the author wanted to vamp up sales with these fake reviews, which I believe were all done by the same person. Amazon should take notice of such schemes.

I found that this book has a lot of history in it. It was nice to read about psychic Stephen's views. I am a firm believer in being open minded and this psychic book made me feel more open minded then ever. I clearly wanted to get a taste of psychic science in a nut shell and I did. This was the 3rd psychic book that I have read and I found it to be different and somewhat entertaining. I loved the fact that psychic piperno is from NY and I am from there as well. Psychic Stephen seems to know what he is talking about. I thought that it was so brave of him to share so much of his story about his family and his psychic life in general. This man is very blessed. His views are shared by so many people that I have spoken to. I think that more psychics should stand up and write about what they believe to be true. This book is both enjoyable to read and a wonderful teaching tool!

This takes you back into the 90's as well as other decades. Piperno Prophet tells it like it is in this psychic book. I hold many of the same philosophies as psychic Stephen does. I have always been Christian my whole life, but became a psychic when I turned 25. Psychic Stephen has put my spirit at ease because I have always been guilty. I feel like I should not be a psychic if I am a Christian, but I am looking at things differently now thanks to this psychic. God bless!

I have to agree with the person who said all the 5 star reviews are suspicious. I don't know how anyone could like this book?
I would rather sit through a 10 hour sermon - at least then I wouldn't have to deal with the poor spelling, grammar, etc. It's LOSE, not LOOSE!!
In addition, the title is a bit misleading. This book is a daft Christians point of view, not a psychic's. It's also disturbingly male-centric.
I feel kinda bad for badmouthing a book like this, but I really don't want anyone to buy it based on all the good reviews.

I got this book for Christmas and i finished it that day. It's a book you just can't put down. It's about Jemima(Jem)Emmerson, who's 15 when the story starts. The war becomes reality when her brother joins the millitia and her mother starts writing letters under a psudonym to a local newspaper asking for supplies for the army. These letters end up making something very bad happen to the family. When her father employs a tutor for her that is a tory she hates him nd treats her very badly. Then Jemima finds a coded message that tells her that John Reid(her tutor)is a spy for Washington then she gets to know him and falls in love with him. Then her younger brother goes away to the army too, and she and her mother are left home and worrying. This is a really good book. I don't really like that Jemima sort of looses the spirit she has at the begining; sassy, fun, and willed. But it's still really good.

Jem is probably my favorite character out of all the Ann Rinaldi books!! She's stubborn and high spirited , I reread this book every chance I get and never tire of it. I don't know which Ann Rinaldi books are my favorite the Revoultionary or the Civil War? But I do know that I Love them all!!!

This is the best of all Ann Rinaldis books (I have read all of them). This book has the most interesting characters and a great plot. Everyone will enjoy Jem and her tutor and what happens between them. I have read this book probably 15 times and never get tired of it. The hints of romance and interest to this book. It teaches you about history without making you ever feel like you were in history class.

This book is fantastic, I own three editions.

But the Kindle edition is a pale shadow of the print edition. Purchase the printed edition first, use the Kindle edition only as a portable reference. Expect your reading speed to be much slower on the Kindle edition than in the print edition.

The Kindle display is too narrow for the code, causing lines to wrap at inconvenient places. Code is mostly readable, but the line wraps render the code less readable than the print edition.

The Kindle edition uses the same serifed font for both code and prose, all in black. The printed edition uses a serif font for prose, and uses a sans-serif font to differentiate code. The print edition uses color to identifies important code.

Comparing the two editions gives you deeper appreciation for the art of typesetting.

The Scott Meyers books were *the* reason I bought a Kindle: these books were in my backpack on the day I ordered my Kindle. "I could carry a 10oz Kindle instead of a stack of books? Sold!" Even with the Kindle's limited formatting capabilities, I'm glad to finally have them in a Kindle edition.

This book must be required reading for anyone developing in C++. I count this book as essential as Bjarne Stroustrup's "The C++ Programming Language"; these two books are a necessity.

Mr. Stroustrup's book could be considered a technical reference to the C++ language. This book I consider as a technical reference for how to use the C++ language.

The book was well written. I found the book to be easy to read and the index to be exhaustive enough for the book to be used as a quick reference.

Is this a great book? I have been asking myself that question ever since I found out that Scott Meyers does not write (or has not written for a long time) production code in C++. With that said, book is a great theoretical treatise on how to make your C++ code better but it is not a "cookbook" which will be immediately useful in day to day tasks. This is not necessarily a bad thing; such approach will encourage deeper understanding of issues at hand and that will lead to better code.

A good book in an informal language to take a look at the most importance topics to avoid many common errors during the programming in C++. Widely used in the industry.

This is a great book which covers a lot of useful topics for every C++ professional. I have been programming in C++ for a while so some of the topics Scott Mayers discussed were already familiar but I still picked up a lot from this book. From a beginner to intermediate programmer, this is a must have. Advanced programmers probably have this book already (or its previous editions). Otherwise, if you bought this in order to learn something new then you are not really "advanced", are you?

This book assumes that you already used C++ and understand its fundamentals. Scott's goal is not to teach the fundamentals but to advice readers on how to use the language effectively - generating good, efficient, re-usable, portable code. On this goal, he was successful. Its pretty much like when I was learning Japanese. I understood the fundamentals and word translations but in order to effectively communicate in that language, I had to be familiar with proper sentence construction, various formalities (some words are not appropriate for certain settings or people) and word dynamics as well. In a sense, this book (or Scott) is your sensei to good C++ programming.

This exciting, captivating, and intelligently narrated Science Fiction story pulled me right in just within just a few paragraphs.

I loved this story for a lot of reasons; one of them being that the story was scientifically believable. Travel faster then the speed of light, hyper space jumps, travel backwards in time, and similar "Space travel cheating" might be fun if you don't know much about Science, but can be irritating and boring if you do. Zabalaoui displays true imagination and creativity when he comes up with an interstellar space travel concept that is scientifically plausible and still tickles your imagination. This makes it possible to relax so that you can allow yourself to become absorbed in the story.

Zabalaoui describes interstellar space travel as it actually might happen a hundred or a few hundred years from now, and that was one of the reasons this excerpt was so enjoyable. The ship seems to be travelling at a speed of about 30% of light speed which indicates to me that Zabalaoui understands Astro-Physics. In my opinion the best Science Fiction is scientifically plausible. Zabalaoui also succeeds in creating a sense of awe with his entertaining and grandiose descriptions of the ship, the domes, and the systems. I found the descriptions of the gigantic space ship with all its features and controls to be mesmerising and delightful.

The other reasons I loved this story was the clever and intriguing plot which grabbed my attention instantly, and the way Zabalaoui was able to make me strongly empathise with the characters. I simply had to find out what would happen next. Once you start reading this story it is impossible to stop.

The story begins with a frightening drama when an eight year old boy awakens prematurely while in cryogenic sleep and ends up wandering the space ship totally alone for five years. Eventually the systems awaken the senior officers when an alarm is set off. They soon discover that the young boy has been alone on the ship for five years, but they don't know where he is. They begin searching for him and awaken his parents. As a parent myself, I could imagine the tremendous helplessness and worries that the parents must have experienced when they realized that their boy has had to survive on his own for five years without any contact with other humans. What has happened to their little boy and where is he?

When this story is finally published I am going to be among the first customers.

Some of the best adventure stories are about pioneers leaving all that's known and embarking on a new life. "Electra Lucas: Crisis in Space" is that kind of story. A massive ship, the HOPE, carries passengers and crew to establish the first off-Earth colony in the Alpha Centauri system. While the colonists and crew are deep in cryo-sleep, an eight-year-old boy wakens and fends for himself on the ship for five years.

When the ship's systems arouse the captain and crew, they follow the boy's trail. There are many questions to be answered: what did the boy smuggle into his sleeping tube and why was his cryo-sleep aborted? Does he have a companion on the ship? What will he be like after five years alone? Will the welfare of the new colony be at risk? Why are the colonists leaving Earth?

This opening from author Keith Zabalaoui reads like the adventure story it clearly is. As in the best sci-fi, the technology is woven seamlessly into the story. The HOPE is a collaboration by forty-three nations and carries everything needed to establish a self-sustaining colony; I was fascinated by the eco-domes, eight complete ecosystems tended by hovering robot-drones. So much more to be learned about this future-world -- I wish I were reviewing the entire book and not just an excerpt.

However intriguing the premise and plot, this opening owes much of its success to Zabalaoui's crisp, allusive writing. All the reader's senses are engaged: "The ship's intercom trilled... " "...the colors, the smell of the loam laced with pine and dampness, and the myriad sounds of life..." Leading the way to the lost boy, "the drones ... floated like glowing breadcrumbs in the sky." The characters are well-rounded for this early stage of the story and I look forward to seeing how they deal with their predicament.

Premise, plot, characters, terrific writing -- and a fifth star because I wanted this story to go on and on.

Imagine a space ship built specifically for colonization on another planet, one that could be taken apart in space and reconstructed on the planet below. A space ship so large people move about on trams, with almost all species of insects and animals from Earth on board. And people who can take on animal characteristics, such as a man with zebra stripes and fur. Where people are put to sleep in cryotubes for the duration of the trip. But what if there's an intruder on board for five years, roaming the space ship while the other human inhabitants sleep? What would happen to this lone person? How would they survive?

This is absolutely one of the best Amazon Shorts I've read to date. Zabalaoui creates his futuristic world in such a realistic fashion it is easy to imagine becoming part of it. His visual imagery and colorful descriptives enhance this thrilling plot, which leaves the reader hungry for more. Highly recommended.

A great beginning that promises an adventurous trip. This is the type of story that would appeal to my grandchildren as much a it did to me. I would hope that it continues the line of adult/child understanding, and close relationship, as Keith implies, and am anxious to know where and what the story will reveal.

Earth is taking its first steps into deep space. The Hope, the most advanced ship ever built but still called The Forlorn Hope by some pessimistic wags back on earth, is carrying Earth's first interstellar pioneers to Alpha Centauri. The scientists and their families on board, as yet deep in a cryogenically induced suspended animation, are on a one way no return trip to establish earth's first colony outside of our own solar system. As the basis for a sci-fi novel it's a simple enough idea - a cynical potential reader might even say mundane and too often repeated. But Zabaloui has opened his story with an exciting flourish that will grip a reader by the lapels and haul him head first into a superbly written and entirely gripping hard sci-fi introduction. One of the cryogenic sleep tubes has failed and young William Bonnie, only 8 years old when he entered cold sleep, awakens and finds himself alone on the ship. Five years later, the computerized systems awaken the Hope's senior officers who are shocked to discover that an eight year old boy has been wandering the ship alone for five years. The excerpt ends as Bonnie's frightened but absolutely determined mother attempts to find the boy who, now thirteen years old and possibly mentally unbalanced as a result of his long time alone on the ship, may not even recognize his family.

First time author Zabaloui seems to have already mastered the basic writing dictum of "Show, don't tell". His descriptions of the ship, the mechanical failure, the bio-domes and the environmental controls are wonderful and are bound to delight any hardcore sci-fi geek to his very toes. I was especially fond of Zabaloui's unique idea of genetically enhancing the members of an elite military unit called "The Wild Ones" - an increase in their speed, endurance, perception and toughness was engineered by the addition of certain animal genes which also, of course, altered their appearance in rather startling fashion (I could already picture what a movie director and his special effects team might do with this. It brought back very happy memories from a time long, long ago and a place far, far away. Do you remember the bar scene in the first "Star Wars" movie?)

If the purpose of an opening chapter in a novel is to hook the reader, draw him into the story and provide an overall framework for the story to come, Zabaloui has certainly succeeded. No doubt about his writing skill - he's already proven that. Now if his imagination is up to the task of providing a novel length plot that is up to the standard of the opening chapters, then Zabaloui will have a winner on his hands. I'm in and I'll certainly be in the line to buy a copy of the finished story when he's found his publisher.

Highly recommended.

(P.S. I'm just dying to ask Mr Zabaloui if the similarity in his young hero's name to the original name of Billy the Kid was intentional).

Henry VIII is a fascinating man of history. He took six wives, arranged to exchange one wife for another, murdered two, lost one to childbirth, rejected another and died before he could find a way to get rid of wife six. A man of wit, intelligence, excess and greed. He had an enormous appetite for pleasure, riches and love. You'll feel as if you're reading exceptional fiction but it really happened.

This is an excellent account of Henry and his many wives. Well researched, very well written - there's hardly a boring passage.

Watching the Tudors on Showtime got me interested in Henry VIII. I purchased this book because of the depth of its research and historical accuracy. It was excellent. I could not put it down. I tend to be more of a fiction reader, when I read for enjoyment. This was as engrossing as any novel.

If you want to read about Henry VIII's six wives, there are more titles out there that you can ever read. A lot of the material is a combination of guesses and conjecture, with a slant toward the prurient. This book, however, is very different. Alison Weir spent a lot of time looking at primary sources from the Tudor period. She obviously did her homework, and her fictionalized historical accounts are likely the closest to the truth that we will ever find.

Unlike most accounts that paint Henry as a man driven by lust, Ms. Weir paints him as a deeply religious man driven by a combination of duty and fear. He truly believes that the fate of the Tudor dynasty depends entirely on the appearance of a legitimate son. Henry had at least one illegitimate son, Henry FitzRoy, whose last name is a sly poke at his bastard status. (FitzRoy = Son of the King, get it?) As time passed, Henry's sense of duty became magnified and overwhelmed by fear that he would die before a legitimate Tudor prince was born. His son Edward was sick and weak from the beginning, and it was apparent to Henry that he needed a healthy, strong son to take on the mantle of leadership should Edward die. He himself only became king because of the untimely death of his sickly brother, Arthur. His treatment of his wives was based on these twin factors.

Alison Weir takes the dry facts and weaves them into a compelling and interesting narrative, and the tragedy of Henry's relationships with all of the women he encountered becomes stunningly clear. I found the book impossible to put down, and although I knew the bare bones of what happened from history books, I had to keep reading to see what might happen next. This is a wonderful introduction to Ms. Weir's books, and if you read this one, be sure to have the others in your shopping cart. You won't want to waste any time getting your hands on them.

Alison Weir's well-written, easy to read book about the Six Wives of Henry the VIII is an outstanding work of history about England in the 1500s, Henry's six wives, and the role they play in English politics and international relations with Spain, France and Germany. It is definitely a five star work of scholarship and entertainment.

Do not start this series unless you intend to finish it. Do not read this book unless you want to be haunted by the characters for months to come. Francine Rivers' A Voice in the Wind (Mark of the Lion Series #1) is hauntingly written, with powerful archetypal characters that will linger in your subconscious. Once you come to know them they will surface in your thoughts repeatedly to remind you of important lessons in Christian character.

Powerfully written, this first in a series of three works of historical/biblical fiction transports us to a time shortly after Christ's death. Hadassah is a young Hebraic Christian girl whose father knew Jesus during His time here on Earth. We first meet her during the fall of Jerusalem to the Roman armies. Losing her entire family during the siege and attack she finds herself taken hostage and eventually sold as a slave.

Throughout A Voice in the Wind we are able to watch Hadassah mature in her faith and come to trust in the Lord completely. The book chronicles the challenges she faces as she strives to love those she serves in a Christ-like way. The Roman family who owns her is immersed in the idolatry and widespread sin common in their society. Despite, and indeed because of this fact, Hadassah is driven to love them and serve them beyond her personal limits as she seeks to show them Christ's love relationally.

Her mistress Julia embodies the self-centered and morally decaying Roman society. Through her example we come to see that all types of sin have been with us ever since the fall, including modern `hot spots' such as abortion and homosexuality. At times one would think that the book was written in a modern setting due to the relevance of the issues dealt with throughout.

Julia's older brother Marcus is a Roman playboy, disaffected and empty, seeking fulfillment in all the wrong places. His emptiness draws him to Hadassah when he begins to see Christ's light shining within her. Rivers was a romance novelist prior to her conversion, and as Marcus is drawn to Hadassah we encounter some highly sensual scenes as he attempts to engage her physically. For those who prefer to avoid sensual, romantic novels, I can assure you that though Marcus is persistent Hadassah holds firm to her Christian values throughout. It is a delight to watch her placing God before anything else in her life, difficult though that may be.

I found myself challenged by Hadassah's integrity and seemingly never-ending love for those she served. As I watched her place her own needs and desires aside time and time again in order to serve I found myself challenged to examine my own performance in the role of servant-mother. Observing her walk with the Lord inflamed my desire to know Him intimately, and I sought to draw nearer to Him. Would that my light could shine as brightly as hers! Believers will come to love Hadassah as they are encouraged by her Christian example, strengthened in their faith, and challenged to go deeper - to give all.

Francine Rivers has developed a name for herself as a modern master of Christian fiction. I can see that her reputation is well deserved. While the characters can appear too archetypical - black or white, it is their clear struggles, weaknesses and strengths that make this novel a valuable tool for Christian growth. This tenth anniversary edition includes a new foreword, an introduction from the author and a book discussion guide. The discussion guide features probing questions for individual or group study of the characters' natures. I was, and remain strongly moved by their individual journeys; they continue to live on in my heart.

I just finished reading "A Voice in the Wind" by Francine Rivers. In many ways it was a disturbing read in that Rome in the first century was much like our world today. So much for the "good old days" huh! The challenges the main character overcame made me come face to face with the reality that even on my worst days, I am blessed. In the days that Hadessah lived in Rome every religion and thought was accepted and held in high esteem, EXCEPT for Christianity and Judaism. Does that sound familiar to anyone? The difference is that today, at least for now, in the United States the persecution meted out is humiliation or slander instead of facing literal lions in the coliseum.

When we watch the History channel on television and they show the coliseum we often think of the place as a place of games. IT WAS A PLACE OF SLAVERY AND DEATH! The blood thirst of the spectators held them prisoner as well as the gladiators and Christians. Most of the time the reality of the place never reaches our brain. God, forgive me!

My fear of offending or conflict has been hard to overcome. I know the Lord will be with me to stand for my beliefs to the end. This book has given me much to think about. The characters were interesting, complex, and infuriating. It is worth the time and energy to read and explore the deeper issues of life.

If I had to guess, I would say I've read well over 1,000 books in my short 31 years on this earth. This book is by far the most captivating, engaging tome I have ever picked up. And speaking of picking it up - I didn't put it DOWN once I opened it. I read it on a Saturday morning, finished on a Sunday morning without even going to bed. I am not a huge fan of christian fiction because so much of it is pure drivvel, but this one will NOT dissapoint. Must read!

This story was utterly breath taking. It was sweet, exciting, and sad all at once. Hadassah is the true epitome of what a Christian should be. She is self-sacrificing, loving, humble and forgiving. Even in the face of death her faith never waivered. It also never waivered when she had to choose between her love for God and her love for Marcus.

Julia was one character that I grew to loath the more I read about her. She was spoiled, self-centered and uncompassionate. I couldn't stand the fact that Marcus catered to her every whim which is one of the reasons she became the person that she was.

Marcus did the unthinkable in ancient Rome. He fell in love with a Jewish Christian who was his sister's slave. I couldn't help but feel sorry for Marcus because in falling with Hadassah he went up a against a mighty force and that was God.

The ending of this novel was gripping and touching. I had tears in my eyes as Marcus realized what Julia had subjected Hadassah to. His reaction was heart gripping. I look forward to reading the second installment.

I would strongly recommend this book.

This book was extremely good. The characters were alive and vibrant. I received a good lesson about Rome and about Roman culture. Plus it was a good reminder about how our brothers and sisters were persecuted and tortured because of their love for our Lord.

Do not be afraid to purchase this book, and once you start reading this exciting adventure--well you will be as hooked as I was.

I had never heard of the book nor the author when I bought it, but it had received a 5 star review on your web page, so I bought it. I have read my whole life and enjoy it very much, but this book was very poorly written, the story line was absolutely stupid, there were more misspelled words throughout than I can ever remember coming across while reading a book. I threw the book away, rather than loaning it or passing it on to someone else.

I have not read these books, but it is rare for a book to get so many reviews and have an overall 5 star rating, so I thought I'd check it out. Then I noticed something fishy - I'm not making it up - check it out for yourself: Most (not all) of the reviews use the same basic language and grammar. Most of them mention the word "series" in the first sentence, "characters" in the second, and the last sentence ends with one to three exclamation marks "!!!". Also, they don't say anything about the plot of the book, and they have about the same number of helpful votes (30-50). All this is very suspicious to me, and then comes along a review that says they bought the book because of all the 5 star ratings and then found the book to be awful and even contained many spelling errors. Did the same person write these using different names? It looks that way to me. Based on all this I decided to skip this one.

This was my favorite visit to Lambert by Victoria Taylor Murray. The characters are now beginning to show their human side and I like that. Nouri certainly has her fair share of love interests to choose from with her crazy husband, her first real man Charles Mason, the guy that holds the key to her heart Clint Chamberlain (or does he?) and of course, my favorite the sexy homicide detective Gabe Baldwin. Which one will she wind up with? I'm getting ready to find out! Can't wait!!! This storyline is so hot!!!

I absolutely love this story! Gabe Baldwin is my favorite male character in this MUST READ series. His character is alpha-male, hot, sexy, and mysterious. I like that in the characters I read about. Of course, Charles Mason and Clint Chamberlain aren't bad either. I wouldn't kick either one of them out of the sack, hahaha! If you are a reader who wants to escape from it all via reading fiction then you have just struck gold with Ms. Murray's popular LAMBERT series. Get cozy before you start reading this book because it is very hard to put it down once you begin the story. That's a fact! (I'm thrilled to recommend this book and the 3 other books that go with it!)

I bought the first two books based on the glowing reviews. I agree with the What Am I Missing Reviewer. They were poorly written and I could not even stand to finish the first one. The reviews are obviously a set up and a great disservice to people who actually buy these books. Please show us a review from a national source.
