Spectrum Books were recommended by my child's teacher. Now I can understand why. We home school and these books are great. They self teach and are easy to understand. They are economically priced which is rare in educational books. I find that every Spectrum Book on every subject is equally as great. Not only are they valuable to home schooled kids like mine, they also are great to tutor kids in traditional schools who may need a little help. I will never hesitate to buy any book under the Spectrum name brand. They are tops. However it's my nature to be picky, so here it goes, the only thing I recommend is removing the answers from the back of the book. All the pages have been conveniently perforated. Because if you have a child like mine, he'll discover this before you do and whiz through his assignments without getting any question wrong. I'll be buying these books for years to come. I love them and it will be hard to find anything better.

This is an excellent book, which my sister used, and has greatly enjoyed. My mother also found it extremly easy to teach her with. JUST EXCELLENT!

You should use the book "What your First or Second Grader Should Know by Hirsch" first and just use the Test Prep to reinforce test-taking skills. There are examples and timed exercises. Subjects include reading, math and an answer key is included.

You should sit down with your child when going over this Test Preparation guide to describe and discuss test taking tips. It's great to cover the multiple choice question technique.I use this as added practice for test prep to get her familiar with standarized tests and Spectrum is the Nation's #1 school testing company.

This will re-inforce standardized test taking technique and skills and will build confidence in timed test exercises. Comes recommended from a happy parent!

As my daughter grows, I will continue to buy these workbooks appropriate to her age group.

Spot check questions are included throughout the text. The book uses limericks, mnemonics and other creative strategies to help you retain information. Finally, it contains realistic clinical situations that focus on the PN's role within the nursing practice.

Stability Indicating HPLC Methods for Drug Analysis by Xu and Trissel is a very useful compiliation of methods. It is a good source of information for the practioner and offers a starting point for HPLC method development for the compound of interest or a similar structure. The text provides the structures as well references for the individual monographs. I would not hesitate recommending this text to the novice or the experienced chromatographer. Being a consultant, I found this text a very valuable reference.
