GREAT Book!! This Speak louder than words!!

I Recently took the certification exam for Medical Assisting. As a requirement to my review course I purchased this book. I read it cover to cover and had questions taken from it on quizzes. I feel that this book had most of the information in it that I was required to know. It was also easy to understand and less confusing than other books I was using.

This text is wonderful for the medical assistant preparing for the certification exam. I am an educator and found it most helpful when I took my exam.....and passed. It is written well and is user-friendly!

I am a Nurse Practitioner and have had the opportunity to review this textbook. I find it to be an excellent, extremely consice textbook designed to assist the medical assistant student pass the CMA and RMA exam. It contains all the pertinent information that one needs to know in a well thought out and organized manner. I would highly recommend this textbook to anyone who is about to take the CMA/RMA exam.

I've used this and the previous edition of Greenberg's text for my epidemiology and literature interpretation course for Physician Assistant students. I've found the text very readable and nicely linked to clinical practice. Each chapter starts with a clinical case around which the chapter is focused. The study questions at the end of each chapter also are useful.

It is an excellent introductory text for clinicians/health professional students. Probably would not be the best choice for a epidemiology course in an epidemiology graduate program or career epidemiologists.

Not all essays are interesting but one stood out from the rest! (In my opinion) The essay by E.K. is the best!

excellent for learning medical terminology. A friend told me about this book - she aced the class that used it. I'm going to get it, I've seen her copy and I can't wait to get my own. It's exciting to learn how to take a word apart and actully understand what it means.

This is the best and most comprehensive reference book for Medical-Surgical Nursing I have ever read. It is concise and easy to utilize in my teaching/clinical practice.

This book has been worth it and it is in a lot fewer words and what you can understand.

I found this work of compilation very effective as a student and now as a physician. The book is concise to the point and effective in it's content to the present practice of medicine. I strongly recomend a book of this caliber to be a desk refrence copy for an enthusiastic physician. May I also add that this is one book that any foreign physician can study to pass the biased Clinical Skills Assessment Exam administered by USMLE to be licensed in the United States. My only criticism of the book is that it does not have any photo pathology, which is an essential component to students studying medicine. I hope the author will take note of this and perhaps try to accomodate such.
