I didnt take my board yet, but i think this is a very good ,concise book which highlight the important topics without adding more boring details..yet I'm still looking for another book ..

This book proved to be very useful to me when studying for the GRE. The vocabulary words, word groups, and word roots were extremely helpful. The Reading Comp tips were in-depth. The math review and tricks were also very useful, but I do recommend downloading the free Math Review packet on the GRE website, where all concepts are reviewed in a logical format with practice questions to be used alongside the math portion of the Kaplan book. In addition, the writing section format was very useful...the essays graded 6 and 5 in the book were useful to look at when getting an idea for the format for the essays. I ended up with a 5.5 on the writing section because of it, and a 1210 combined score on the verbal and math sections with only one week of studying. Highly recommend!!

Upon looking this book over and information from others, this is a must to help pass the CMA. Several instructors recommend for use as a study guide.

This book doesn't contain lots of stuff,but it is easy to carry and read briefly, it will improve your common sense of medication

THis is the best nclex review. It gets the the point of what you really need to know to pass.

The book is consie, straight to the ponit. It reliefs you of the need to search a huge vol for a simple information

I wish I had this book in medical school. Any medical student will tell you that pharmacology is not a difficult subject per se, but is overwhelmingly crammed with mountains of medications, receptor profiles, side effects, pharamcokinetic and dynamic information, drug classes, and so much more that it overwhelms me just to think about it!

This book is designed in the way your brain works as it learns this kind of material. It is organized in a way that creates a template in your head and lays out the material in such a way that you can recall the page and read off the information when you come across the arcane and detailed minutia on your exam.

I did well in the course but when I look back at the notes I made they're in the same format as the book, and buying the book will save you countless hours which you can put to good use learning the information in this book. Diagrams, charts, tables abound, as does the core of the subject itself.

I still use this book today to refer to as an attending when teaching medical students the fundamentals of pharmacology and they couldn't be happier!

Biographical Sketches

This Sourcebook lays out excellent guidelines and training/handout materials for one hour, half day, and full day leadership sessions. Information provided is so in-depth that an entry level trainer could pickup the sourcebook, read over the materials, and present an effective workshop. Excellent for a one person training organization. The materials were released in 1997, and the references are from late 80's, early 90's, so you may want to add more updated reference citings during workshops for credibility. Overall, excellent materials!

Helped tremendously in answering a lot of questions regarding the subject. Writer has very well divided different levels of souls with varying life cycles. Helped understand the concepts of ghosts, angels and rebirth.
