Excellent resource to review for the EMT-I national exam. Follows the text and provides references to the pages with the answers.

I stumbled upon this book in my medical bookstore and have used it a lot during my medicine rotation. I really like the chapters on the write-up and oral case presentation. The advice is solid. I've been able to avoid some mistakes that I'm sure I would have made had I not read this book. It doesn't cover material for the shelf exam but it gives you everything you need to do well during prerounds, work rounds, attending rounds, on oral case presentations, daily progress notes, and H & Ps. It's only drawback is it doesn't cover information for the shelf exam but the authors' goal are to give you the information you need to get good evals. It definitely meets that goal.

I bought this book a year ago whern I first started out in Women's health. it was a big help.

Excellent addition to any interventional radiology library. Especially good for Residents, PAs and NPs working in Interventional Radiology. Experienced Radiologists will find the "secrets" quite useful.

This is very good for any student. It is very easy to read and understand. The layout of the book and the presentation of the material is very consise. There are a lot of great examples of the material that is being covered.

This has to be the #1 product on CD-ROM for reviewing radiology! I used it to prepare for boards and even used it to review cases while on the airplane to Louisville. iRAD contains tons of cases with high quality images, a description of the findings, a pertinent differential, the diagnosis, and a full discussion. It is conveniently organized into ten sections (chest, nucs, GI, etc.) and even has a final posttest (you don't have to submit your answers unless you need the CME's). Multiple choice questions with each case are a great way to simulate an oral examination, either alone or in groups.

First and foremost, the shipping was very quick and easy...and although the book was used, it was in very good conditions. The questions are very insightful, and you'll also learn information that was not taught in a classroom setting. The questions vary from multiple choice to fill in the blank. My exam was in a couple of weeks, and I know that if it wasn't for this review guide I wouldn't have done as good as I did. I guarantee a good score with this quide!

I am what is known as a headhunter, and besides finding the right people to fill jobs, a good part of my job is helping people prepare for interviews. I will be recommending all my candidates read this book. Its clear, concise, and helps anyone preparing for an interview, whether their first or at the executive level. I appreciate that the author has been in the role of recruiter and it shows in her insight. This book is well worth the money for anyone preparing for an interview no matter what stage in their career. I recommend this book highly as part of the interview preparation process.

3rd edition. CD is a great training tool, makes studying easy. Test questions and answers are real world, and will enable you to set up timed practice exams. A great training aid for even the most green apprentices, in 2-3 weeks you will see a noticeable improvement in test scores and times. Answers to questions are given along with the code references.

The first unit of this book begins with a review of electrician's math and electrical theory. This information forms the basis of our electrical installations, but the working electrician does not have an opportunity to review the math or theory behind his/her work each day. A review of this nature is very essential before we begin the study of more in-depth calculations in the NEC. Throughout this book, code questions are intermingled with examples and illustrations. Mr. Holt has a way of making the complicated requirements of the NEC make sense. This book is very good at providing instruction in performing the sometimes difficult calculations and reading the numerous tables in the NEC. There are many practice problems included to help reinforce the material covered.

I have used this book as the text for an exam preparation course that I teach. On many occasions, students have remarked on the quality and clarity of this text book. Numerous students have used other study books, and have found Holt's book to be superior.
