This PreTest includes many clinical questions and bridges cell biology, physiology, human anatomy, embryology, and an introduction to pathology. It was very useful during the anatomy courses and helped me to a 244 on USMLE I. I know, there isn't much pure histology on the boards, but this book helped me quickly review the microscopic and gross anatomical structure of the body and prepare for USMLE I. First Aid gave me a list of areas to emphasize, but it has errors and is too lightweight for those students who want to excel and do a first rate residency.

Great reference for histology lab for med students. I used this book for lab and got excellent grades. For class exams, I used the following:

This book is simply one of the finest, thorough, and comprehensive collections to date for Hospital Preparedness for Bio-terrorism. A multitude of issues are discussed related to bio terrorism and how hospitals and disaster relief agencies SHOULD prepare.

I am extremely glad that this information is available in one book to get agencies and hospitals started along the thought process, however, I shudder to think that anyone with influence in this area has NOT read this book.

I am currently an M1 in my first semester. While struggling with the embryology lectures, and frustrated with our embryo book, I decided to purchase this book. I am VERY impressed with this book, and the way it presents the material. It is condensed, though complete. It also has great illustrations, explanations, and useful clinical aspects of abnormalities. I didn't understand embryo before using this book, but now I have aced the questions with no problems.

I had an opportunity to purchase and read Dr. Phibbs' latest text, "The Human Heart: A Basic Guide to Heart Disease," about a year ago. I was impressed with the breadth of the commentary and the organization of the material. I work in the pharmaceutical industry and I read many technical and instructive materials. Dr. Phibbs' explanations and diagrams were pristine and useful and had helped me to broaden my cardiovascular vocabulary to discuss cardiac complications more clearly. I have recommended this book to others in the industry.

More than what I expected! Every artist should have one - it relates history periods to cultures then units all the arts together so you can have perfect understanding of it as a whole. Really fantastic! Full of information!

I really like that this book isn't just full of questions but gives you information on how to answer the questions and helps me with my weakness learning all the side effects of drugs. Great book.
