If your are studying for board exams, this is an excellent source.For many of this exams vignettes related to treatment in ER are usually found . If yoor are not preparing for exams it a great practical book on the exercise of ER medicine.

This text is an excellent addition to the standard CEN course offered by Emergency Nurses Association. It is extremely complete and would act as a great reference after the course. Instructors from all over the country recommend this text for their CEN courses.

This book was written clearly and concisely. It was excellent preparation for my finals--the content and wording of each question was spot on. Thorough and accurate, I found this study guide to be head-and-shoulders above other similar texts. Unlike other guides that seem to waste time with a lot of extraneous hoopla, this text was apt and straightforward. It was well worth the time and money.

This books takes the material learned in EMT school and presents it in an organized case-based manner starting with the dispatch call and ending with ongoing assessments en route to the hospital. Sets down the steps from arriving on the scene, ensuring your PPE's are on, Scene Size-up, Intial Assessement, checking Mental Status, ABC's, Determining Priority, etc. Also provides exams and a step-by-step flow sheet for both trauma and medical patients. If you're unsure how to put it all together, this is the book for you.

I purchased about every book I could find in attempt to study for the National Registry's written test. This is by far the best one. It is the only one that really prepared me for the test. The affordable price makes it an even better deal. I strongly suggest this book to anyone studying for the National Registry.

I love this book! It's a great to accompany any AP or intermediate French course. We use it in my class. The title explains it: French like they speak it. The chapters are arranged according to theme. There are great idioms in here, which are wonderful for the AP test compositions. Or if you just want to learn French and can understand grammatical structure, this book is wonderful. There are also exercises in the chapters which ask the student to translate sentences or match the phrases with sentences. Crosswords and word finds also make it fun. In the back of the book, there is an "appendice" with good grammer points and expressions. Directions and explanations in French are also another plus.
