This is an excellent collection of correspondence between Keynes and numerous other economists over topics and ideas that would later turn out to be covered in the General Theory of Employment ,Interest and Money in 1936.Perhaps the most relevant part of the volume is contained on pp.373-375.It involves an exchange between Keynes and Richard Kahn over Keynes's initial breakthrough concerning the existence of multiple equilibria using the boundary and interior of the Production Possibilities Frontier curve model combined with a microeconomic foundation of purely competitive firms operating under constant returns to labor.Kahn demonstrates that he had absolutely no idea or understanding at all about what Keynes was doing.Kahn ,incredibly,confuses constant returns to labor with the case of constant cost.Kahn never recovered from this set back intellectually.

I decided to review this book because it had no reviews. This book will prepare you for lab practicals like no other. Idealized drawings dont look like the human body. When one opens a dead body, everything is nearly the same drab color. I found myself struggling to find landmarks because there wasnt contrast like the pretty illustrations. Also, some folks are skinny, fat, long-legged etc. Illustrations dont capture the minute variations which confused me. This book helped me a lot. After studying from the assigned text, I came across this book in the student bookstore and recognized its worth immediately. When you master anatomy from fotos drawn anatomy questions are even easier. Highly recommended.

I recommend this text to students who wish to challenge the Community Health Nursing course at our university. The passage rate typically is much higher among those who utilize this resource.

The faculty here love this book. So much so that we actually give it away to other faculty members every few months.

Termino de leer el magnífico libro que nos habla de cómo prepararnos para ese paso que llamamos muerte... la verdad es que estaba haciendo falta algo de literatura al respecto...porque muy pocos se ocupan de enseñarnos cómo enfrentar ese momento... y mejor aún cómo ayudar a nuestros seres queridos si es que nos toca... Admiro la naturalidad y sencillez con que la autora del libro narra episodios de la vida real, que en forma amena nos van instruyendo a lo largo de su lectura.... en fin.. No me queda sino felicitarla por tan excelente obra y estoy segura de que, como a mí será de gran utilidad a miles de personas en el mundo. Esperaré impacientemente un nuevo libro. ELIANA DELGADO

As usual, Barbara has a GREAT idea and puts on paper without alot of unused information. I have changed ALL my cirriculum books to hers. GREAT !

I found this book to do a fine job of meeting its stated objectives of giving general guidelines to the beginning and intermediate level racer. I would consider it a "must read" for anyone seriously thinking about buying or preparing a car for competition. While it is less technical than a Carrol Smith book, and it isn't a "how-to" cookbook, it does guide the reader through the thought processes which should be undertaken prior to spending hard earned money.

Mr. McBeath's writing style is both clear and entertaining. It takes the reader only a short time to realize he has "been there, done that". I first became aware of Mr. McBeath's skills after reading articles he has written for "Race Car Engineering" magazine. His understanding of the subject matter is evident and he teachs from the point of view that most racers can appreciate, that is, how to do things on a limited budget.

The book is geared towards road racers as opposed to the circle track or drag racing crowd and many of the references are for the UK audience. But the lessons to be learned can benefit anybody willing to take the time to give what he says some thought.

The photographs and the illustrations are used to clarify and are fine quality. It's worth the price.

I have used this book for the past 4 months in my preparation for the PCAT. I think that the gaps in my knowledge of scientific topics can be filled using the explanations in this book. It was very straightforward and clear in its emphasis on what was needed to be studied for the PCAT. It was just an excellent book.

I am a Psychiatry resident and will be taking the boards soon. A few days ago, I was looking for a good review book. I was shocked with the number of options available, and all the authors claim that their book is the best... After comparing several books, I decided to go with this one. It was THE best decision! This review is by far better than most if not all of the other ones: the question-and-answer format is exactly like the real boards, which is very helpful for 'test-taking' skills. It has a good balance of Psychiatry and Neurology. The questions are very well written, and are available on a website. The explanations are substantial, yet quick and easy to read. And since this is a new book, the information is up-to-date. I highly recommend it!

This comprehensive book included all of the relevant topics with well written questions and explanations. I passed the PTEeXAM in 2007, and owe much of that achievement to this book.
