Neurology is a dificult material and this book hit the jackpot. The cases in this book are the one that going to show up in the exam. I used as part of my study for the Step 2 CK and I score a 220.

This is a great quick reference book for anyone doing a pediatric rotation or anyone considering a career in pediatrics. It covers all the basics of peds ID and is very easy to read and absorb. Much of the material on the pediatric shelf is about peds ID and this book has all the useful information for the wards and the exam.

An must buy for medical students and foreign medical graduates taking USMLE . I'd recommend to buy the whole set of five books!

I just got the book today and I absolutely love it! It is a quick read with lots of pictures. If you are a visual learner then this book is for you! This book also has a complete text for all of the bacteria, viruses, and parasites. It takes a bacterium and explains what it does to humans, how the patients present (symptoms), how it infects, virulance factors, diagnostic labs, unique features, and treatments with proper medications. It also gives you the pictures of the organisms... A COMPLETE TEXT WITH GREAT PICTURES... another great thing is that it's only 110 pages long...~~~Check it out in the book store and I am sure everyone will buy it! It will definitely be useful for medical microbiology course and STEP 1 Review!

I found this literature guide to be extremely helpful when teaching Brave New World to my Seniors. There are so many complex issues that Ms. Bowers addresses perfectly. I am grateful that there is acutally someone out there that is willing to tackle the issues of the novel so that I may teach it the way I want. Not only does Ms. Bowers understand the complexities, she also integrated these complexities with the content standards, allowing me to teach this great literature without guilt. Highly recommended for those who take their teaching seriously.

I am in nursing school and this study guide saved me. It breaks down all calculation and dosage questions that you may have. Each chapter begins by introducing you to the different areas of med administration followed by examples completely worked out for you. This study gives you plenty of problems to work out with the answers at the end of the chapters. This book was given to me by a nurse friend of mine, and she was positive that it would be helpful.
