This book is a very easy-to-read, incredibly valuable book for businesses, communities, and, in fact, EVERYONE for understanding that no one sector of society is to blame for America's current struggles. It's not a matter of "fixing schools" to help kids do better and achieve more...schools don't operate in a vacuum. It's a matter of schools and businesses, community and government, the media and parents, all coming together to agree on a collective vision for the future. It can be done. I felt incredibly inspired finishing this book. I can't wait for the follow up...putting the plans in action. I am getting a bunch to give out to clients and yes, even my superiors. We should all be working toward this end!

For most my age, growing up in the Dakota's was filled with work, struggle, and responsibility. We all thought that making it easier for our children was the best way to help them prepare for their future. So it came as a surprise to me that over time, far too many children seemed to live a life of entitlement and expectation over knowing that success comes from the wisdom gained from the experience of hard work. Not only did this book help me understand why, instead of who to blame, but it helped me understand how to help guide my children in raising my grandchildren. The System is a must read for all parents and grandchilden in understanding the environment kids need to be ready for an uncertain future.

I love this book. It helped me tremendously to improve my English 16 years ago, and I know people who use it today and consider it one of the best TOEFL/ESL/English study guides.

This is the best TOEFL preparation Guide I've used, and I should know about it! I've been teaching English to foreign students for almost 19 years now. The Grammar is the best part, the audio is OK.

I purchased this book to include in my library and to serve as a reference for lectures. I have found this book to be a superior guide for gaining the basic knowledge of the important topics in toxicology, without too much information. I very much enjoy all of the Secrets Series books that I have purchased (about 10 of them so far), but have found this one to be one of the best of the bunch. The concise nature of the various topics is put together very well and has many interesting "extra tidbits" that are great as "Did you know" facts for lectures. All major and many less common medications and environmental toxicities are covered. Definitely a great choice for the home or office library.

After typing in too many silly jokes for my 7 yr old at various websites, I bought this book to help her learn typing. It's a great book, lessons are good, and instructions are limited to what is needed. None of the psychobabble I found in other books. This just teaches the right fingers for each key, correct posture and gets on with the actual lesson. I have only used the lessons with my kid, not the accompanying software.

I've been using the Typing and Keyboarding for Everyone to train over 50 clerical students in keyboarding for the past year now with great success. It's an easy reading book for beginners and those looking to just refresh lost skills. I personally would recommend it to anyone.

I found these books to be the best source for USMLE step 2 and step 3 exams. A lot of the cases were directly from these books. I scored extremely well in my exams and it was due to the detail, focused issues and the high-lighted aspects of this text that allowed me to score well. The books are highly recommeded. They do not have any MCQs but after reading these books inside and out you will be prepared to answer the majority of the questions correctly.

Very good high yield material,vignettes gear you for the real exam,must read in supplement with your review.

I found this book very helpful in forming a clinical picture in my mind for all those confusing biochemical diseases. I felt this was one of the best books of this series. It is good to use after reviewing the subject. This book is not sufficient on its own and should be used as an adjunct to a standard review book.

When I first read this book It was not very useful `cause everything was new for me, but when I re read it after I finish to read my biochemistry review, It was amazing, It helped me to order all the knowledgment that I had in a better form, in a perfect style to be prepared for the ECFMG questions. I recommend it to everybody who is preparing for the USMLE or ECFMG. And also highly recommended with the Lippincott Biochemistry review.

This is a excellent book for the USMLE exams. It helped a lot in every possible way of my exam preparation.

It definately worth the money! I avoided this "expensive" one until I was so dissappointed by all the other cheap juncks. I regret I did not buy this one first. Questions are well written and representative to the real test. People are talking about Swanson's. But this one beats even Swanson's. And the new Swanson's is no good any more any way. Given the number of questions, this is really not expensive. I recommend it to every one and, trust me, you don't need any other books.

This book rocks! I'm amazed there isn't anything else on the market like it. Its like First Aid on Steroids. Get this one if you want to nail step 3!

I am very impressed with this book. Its got full color which really helps looking at figures, actual accurate sample questions throughout the text, a free website with more free questions, and obviously prioritizes what's important. For example diabetes, this book has a longer section on diabetes than on testicular cancer-that's the way it should be! Another thing I like is that it sites the medical groups that make guidelines in important areas. Not research, but guidelines which is what the committee has to use to make the test. It also has room for taking notes in the margin which was a pet peeve of mine with other books. I'd recommend getting this to study from but it'll also be very handy for reference after the test. This is the best divorce book I have ever used. Had it not been for having this book I would have been raked through the coals in my divorce. It helped me to get prepared and get everything I was entitled to. Let's put it this way. The only thing my ex got was the girlfriend and I got everything else! Like Ivana said "Don't get mad, get everything!"
