Thomas guide is the most thorough map of the greater Seattle area, and is updated annually. Down side is the size and thickness of the book. To big to go into map pocket or glove compartment, so it ends up under the seat or on the back seat. But it is very good and detailed.

I recently moved to another state. I have GPS software and know how to use Mapquest, but there are times when I'm in my car and want/need to look at a "real" map. Thomas Guide is user-friendly, since it is a bound book, so I don't have to struggle with some giant map that is cumbersome (and trying to refold one summons images of The Three Stooges). It was a few years old, but the area where I reside hasn't changed that much. Thomas Guides are a little pricey, but I purchased this one in used/good condition. I'm really glad I did.

The book itself is in good condition and has maps of all the surrounding areas - but I was interested in Davis and that city is not included. Not the sellers fault. The transaction was great.

I have many family members living in King and Pierce counties. I am originally from Seattle, but the areas away from the city have changed beyond my childhood memories. I have put tabs on the pages where a family member or a friend lives and have highlighted the route to each street.
It will be the first thing I put in my suit case for each visit to Washington State.

I travel a lot to different areas in San Diego & Riverside This Thomas Guide helps me to find my way around.

Great book of local maps that makes it easy to find local addresses. This guide is a valuable asset to folks like me looking for a new home in a somewhat unfarmiliar area.

This product however would be even better if the spiral binding were upgraded to a type of binding that would permit removal / reorganization of the individual pages to meet my specific needs.

I've used Thomas Guides for years in Los Angles and Las Vegas. They are crisply printed, full of information and easy to read. If you have any map reading ability at all you can find your way.
