Venture beyond Barnes and Noble, and find specialty bookstores of every kind, from cookbooks to yoga, from a tiny bookstall to the Strand. Some of the information is out of date, since bookstores move or even go out of business, so supplement this with an up-to-date copy of the yellow pages, but don't miss this book! If browsing through dusty bookshelves is your idea of heaven, this book will be an invaluable reference, I use mine every time I go into the city.

If you are planning a wedding in Seattle this book is a great resource.

I have used Bravo's event resource guide for the past 4 years and find it to be the best resource for finding venues and vendors to work with. I always begin with this book.

I am going to Europe in June and I am not sure what I will be doing yet. The BTG Europe guide is really good, its got lots of info for planning my trip and its really light and compact for when I start traveling (its got the hostels listed in there as well as how to get around). I highly recommend it!

A good guide for those who need a reference to plan the perfect romantic weekend get away. All you romantic gentleman could use it as a handy guide to woo that special someone and take her to a place which she will definitely enjoy.

This book is so easy to use. The layout is logical and the photos are great. You can look up the cal, fat, vit., salt content and other facts of most common foods in a blink. I keep going back to peek at all this easy to read info. It has a section that tells what is good and not so good in each food group-and why. For example,in "Breads", whole grains are good, but Wonderbread-not so much

In 1995, a friend and I threw a tent in the back of my car, and armed with the Eastern States volume, started a four and a half month camping trip. Camp the US was such an invaluable resource that we searched the state of Arizona for the Western & Midwestern states. I only hope these books return to print!
