This Winnie the Pooh book is my childs favorite! Pooh's friends from the Hundred-Acre-Woods help him to cope with a bad
dream. I bought it when my child had her first nightmare- and this book helped her understand that everyone, even pooh,
has bad dreams! This is her all time favorite book & she reads it every night before bed time!

This year, I am graduating high school. For 12 years, my body and mind have been focused on school, friends, and getting
by. Winnie the Pooh has also been a favorite of mine since childhood... I discovered this book last year. It speaks of
changes in life, finishing a task and beginning new ones. This story, in a way sums up what every high school and/or college
student goes through when they graduate.

This book is very educating for young people. It is a good book because most kids fall in love the the characters of Pooh
and his "gang." This is kind of a mystery book for the kid also, and introduces them into the world of reading suspense.
I would reccomend this to any parent as a good book for there children.

if you loved the heffalump movie, you'll love this book of lovely pictures from the movie and a short version of the story.
Great for anyone who loves Pooh and his friends, especially children who love Lumpy, Pooh's new friend. A really nice gift
and movie memento for when you don't want to turn on the dvd.

This is a wonderful book for young children. Wonderful illustrations as well as simple words and sentences for toddlers and
early readers. My 3 year old loves to have any of the books in this series read to him. He especially loves it when his
7 year old cousin reads them to him.

This is one of my 3-year old's favorite books, and we read it year-round. All of the Pooh gang must convince Rabbit to stop
worrying about keeping the leaves in a tidy pile and start having fun in them instead. What's especially nice is that Christopher
Robbin has the whole gang do a series of little craft projects with the leaves, all of which are easy for little ones to do
and require only things you tend to have in the house (e.g. paper, crayons, glue and paint). It's wonderful to read the book
and then head out to hunt leaves for the crafts. This book makes for a great afternoon!

For those especially who live where there's lots of snow - this book is a reminder of the wonderful side of winter. There
are a few pages of activities at the back of the book , that add to a child's enjoyment. Another wonderful pooh book (we
can't get enough of Pooh)

The book, Pooh's Wishing Star. THis book was a great book! I believe. I liked how it had a wishing star in it. One time Pooh
took all of his friend's up to the hill so they could make a wish. I liked how he thought of his friend's like that. Like
how he wanted his friend's to be happy. So when little kids read this book they will learn that you should care about other
peoples feelings. I hope you get the chance to read this awesome book. Your kids will learn a valuable lesson.

Way Cooler than Long-Pants Mickey

This charming book is a facsimile edition. Couldn't find a date for the original but it must be from the early- to mid- 1930s,
since by 1940, Mickey's appearance had changed quite a bit.
Full of that beautiful prose that has one foot in the Victorian era and one in the modern, Pop-Up Mickey Mouse is a delight to read. It is also a welcome change from the watered-down language now peddled to little ones and will stimulate verbal and aesthetic growth with passages such as --
"Minnie carefully adjusted her skirts, and very gently pressed her fingers upon the keys of the great steam organ. A thundering cataract of sound boomed and shrieked and whistled across the fields right into the face of the rising, sleepy sun which paused, startled, for an instant, its chin resting on the horizon of the world."
They just don't write 'em like that anymore!!!
Today's parents may be taken aback by the sophisticated syntax, but it helps to remember that way back when, authors respected a child's ability to follow complex sentences (and follow them, they can!)
The story and pictures are cute, though there are very few pop-ups. But there's plenty here to entertain the adult reader, as well as the usual puns and prat-falls for the kiddies.
While each page does have an illustration, there is quite a lot of text for a book aimed at young grade-schoolers. Some kids (especially the media-addicted) might not stay focused on the story long enough to finish.
But for those who can groove along with it, Pop-Up Mickey Mouse offers a rare glimpse into a bygone day, when much of America was still small towns and farmland; where dogs were named after planets and mice played calliopes.

This is one of the Creatables books in the Pooh Adorables series, which includes Hummables (sing-aloud board books for babies) and Thinkables (interactive play books for toddlers). The other two Creatables books are Pooh Draws and Pooh Builds. A similar board book is Pooh Colors.
