When Triton's childhood friend, Nefazia from the Indian Ocean visits the palace, the princesses are very excited. All except for Aquata. She is convinced that Nefazia has come to marry Triton and convinces her sisters likewise. Ariel does not think that is logical. But after she fails to carry out one of her sisters' plans because of what she knows is right, her sisters exclude her from their plans to scare Nefazia away. Soon Ariel uncovers a plot, which if not corrected, could have a disastrous ending. Can Ariel and her sisters correct the mistake in time?

Chopin transformed into a 1950 pop hit
Helpful Votes: 3 out of 3 total.
Review Date: 2007-08-24
There are three fairly well-known songs under the title, "No Other Love": one by Barry Manilow, a second by Rogers and Hammerstein and this one adapted from Chopin's Etude in E Major. This version was a significant pop hit for the wonderful Jo Stafford in 1950.

The lyrics grafted onto Chopin by Westin and Russell are as follow:

No other love shall warm my heart
Now that I know the comfort of your arms.
No other love.
Oh, the sweet contentment that I find
With you every time, every time.
No other lips could want you more
For I was born to glory in your kiss.
Forever yours!
I was blessed with love to love you
'Til the stars burn out above you,
'Til the moon is but a silver shell.
No other love, let no other love
Know the wonder of your spell.

This is obviously a cross-over piece and can be used as a slow, lyrical pause between up-tempo pieces or, on the other hand, as a better than usual English-language art song.

The sheet music for piano with guitar chords is in the key of C. The vocal range is from B below the staff to E.

Of course, it begins with grumpy Eeyore! The "galloping grumps" move around through the beautiful Hundred-Acre Wood of Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends. As winter has set in, everyone is seeing the cold side of life. Christopher Robbin saves the day by showing everyone how to combat the grumps with encouragement, fun, humor, and kindness. This is a quick and fun story for kids, especially on dreary days.

"I'm not going trick-or-treating this year, Pooh," announced Piglet. "I'm too scared." -- From the book

As Pooh and Piglet carve jack-o'-lanterns, Piglet hides in one of them. He's worried that they might encounter a heffalump hiding under a costume! Pooh assures Piglet that the only individuals they'll be seeing this Halloween this year are their *friends*.

Pooh's Happy Halloween is a delightful paper-back book for children that follows Pooh and Piglet as they go trick-or-treating. What costumes will they be wearing? How come none of their friends are answering their door?

This is a great non-threatening book for celebrating Halloween and friendship. Ever since we bought this book, my son has requested I read this as a bedtime story every single night.

Great For Teaching

This book, as well as the others in the series, is great for teaching young kids about things, from messy rooms to jealousy. Each book is realitively short but contains a message. They help kids find ways of dealing with these things and how to prevent it.

Whimsical Book Based on the Movie

"Remy and Emile are nothing alike! Remy likes only gourmet food, while Emile thinks everything is food! Remy dreams of becoming a chef, while Emile just dreams of eating! These two are an odd pair, but they're brothers, and they'll stick by each other no matter what! Oh, brother!" -- From the back cover

My family and I saw the Ratatouille in the theater and LOVED it! In fact, when it comes out on DVD later this month, we'll be sure to snatch it up.

We have several books based on this movie, and the newest of our acquisitions is Oh, Brother! Rather than featuring slick stills from the movie, this unusual softcover book recreates key scenes using what looks like fabric and other materials--giving it a neat 3-D effect.

At 24-pages, the sentences are short with the illustrations taking up most of the page. This means that Oh, Brother! is a perfect book for beginner readers (and as a short bedtime story!) Linguini and Colette make an appearance in this book, as does the crazy old lady who owns the house Remy and Emile raided (remember the lightning strike?).

If you're looking for an appropriate book for youngsters based on the Ratatouille movie, Oh, Brother will be sure to please both kids and adults!
