I recieved this book as a baby shower gift with my first child and found the book to be very enlightening. It tells the story of a little girl named Ariel who passed away from Aids. The book is filled with drawings from Ariel and is narrated by her Mother , Elisabeth Glaser. The book comes with a cassette of some of Ariel's favorite nursery rhymes sung by, Ziggy Marley, James Taylor and Little Richard to name a few. Lyrics are printed in the book along with illustrations by Eric Carle and others. This was a great present and collaboration of great artists coming together to tell the story of Ariel. I feel this book is appropriate to share with children of all ages.

This is a VERY helpful travel book! In 357 pages it gives you access to the Online Travel Directory and has a large pull-out color map, yet it is small enough to fit in almost any handbag. Sites of interest covered in the book include Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Water Parks, Golf, Tennis, Islands of Adventure, Daytona Beach, Kennedy Space Center and More! It gives pretty accurate ratings of rides, restaurants, hotels and such. This is especially helpful if you are taking the kids, you can use this to plan out the vacation, know what rides and food your kids will enjoy and even gives sample itineraries. The information is reliable and the details are wonderful! If you, or someone you know, are planning a trip to the Orlando area, this is a MUST!

Of several Orlando/Disney World books I have read, this is probably the best for several reasons.

Probably the best feature of this book is that each attraction has a letter grade rating and a recommended age. This was very helpful in planning our trip and eliminating boring attractions and those intended for a different age group.

This book had current information on the new Universal Studios Escape Park, but did not have much info on Asia in the Animal Kingdom (other books did.)

Overall, this was the most useful book in planing our Orlando vacation.

Hi folks!
Once again Frommer's was a life-saver for me and my family. This is the third trip (two to Europe) that we take using all the information provided in Frommer's travel guides.

All the tips and information were most reliable and we were able to do much before having planned our outings according to the book.
I strongly recommend it!

I was so excited to receive "A Fun-Filled Visit to Walt Disney World with Mickey Mouse." I had this book as a child but it was given away. I thought my memories of the book were imaginary, but they turned out to be real recollections. Reading this book as I child I was transported to Disneyland while turning the pages of this book. Mickey is your guide on your trip through DisneyWorld (I always thought it was Disneyland - and you can't really tell the difference with the content of the rides featured in the text). This is a PULL-TAB, POP-UP interactive adventure. You ride on the Submarine while turning a dial to see all the sea-life. You climb the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House to find a hidden treasure at the top. You ride the Tea Cups with Mickey while spinning him around ending in a very funny discontented look on Mickey's face from all the spinning. The bears at the Country Bear Jamboree play their instruments for you. There are numerous others voyages. I had as much fun seeing the book at age 28 as I recalled all the fun I had with it as a child. A TRUE treasure and TOP book for the avid Disney fan, especially since they closed the Submarine and Swiss Family House in 1998/9. Many happy memories are in the book for the person who attended the park as a child.

These Doug mysteries cannot be beet!

I'm a fan of "Doug"...excuse me, *Disney's* Doug...a show geared for kids but just as enjoyable for young-at-heart adults. The same's true of "The Curse of Beetnekaumun," easily the best so far of the "Funnie Mysteries" book series from Disney Press.

What makes this collection of four short mystery adventures stand out is the writing: Pamela Pollack and Meg Belviso have a great handle on what makes "Doug" fun for all ages. Their affection for the show is evident in spot-on characterization and authentic dialogue that you can just *hear* the animated characters saying.

Of course there's a healthy dose of gentle thrills and humor ranging from outrageously groan-worthy puns to enough funny pop-culture allusions to fill an episode of "Mystery Science Theater 3000": references to Mitchum deodorant ads, Steve Martin's "King Tut," Lara Croft, Mork from Ork, Saturday Night Fever, Mission: Impossible, the Beatles...

The mysteries themselves are not exactly Encyclopedia Brown-style solve-'em-yourself whodunits--the solutions to the mysteries are more humorous than they are logical, but filled with the gentle comedy and offbeat wit that's a trademark of the world of Doug Funnie.

If you've got a Doug fan in your life, do them a treat and pick up this great installment of the Funnie Mysteries: it cannot be beet!

The Game Plan

I read the fiction book The Game Plan. It's a novel based on the major motion picture, adapted by Beth Beechwood. The book is about a super star football player named Joe Kingman, He gets a surprise daughter, at his door, named Peyton Kelly. The setting is in Boston. Joe's problem is that he has to take care of the daughter while the championship game is coming up. He's not sure if he can handle it.

I give this book 5 stars because it was very detailed and had many emotions you could feel in the book. I recommend this book to anyone because it a children's book and grown ups will enjoy it, too! I chose this book because I saw the commercial for the movie and I wanted to read the book before I saw the movie.
