Disney Books

Here is a book for all Disney Park fans. The refreshing thing about the Disneyland Detective,and California Adventure Detective books, is that they are written by a fan for fans. It is full of the little things that a fan truly wants to know about the parks they so dearly love. NOT a book that THINKS it knows what a fan wants to know. Disney's California Adventure is a park that is not as popular as Disneyland. It is thought to have a couple of perks, like California Soaring, but compared to Disneyland, if given the choice one would most likely, attend the latter. Disney's California Adventure Detective unlocked for me, many hidden secrets of a park perhaps a bit misunderstood. For example,it opened up a whole new insight to "Twilight Zone's Tower of Terror," as it lists where to look for actual props from the popular TV show hidden throughout the cue. My favorite, the chalk marks on the wall from the episode"Little Girl Lost." When I saw that, and put my ear to the wall, I heard that little girl... Wow! If you like discovering secrets, then this book will rock your world!

Calendar is colorful and well done. Chicken Little appears on nine of the months in either solo or group shots. It's so beautifully done that we had to order another calendar so this one doesn't get marked up.

This is a cute story book about Mickey Mouse containing five stories: Brave Little Tailor, Mr. Mouse Takes a Trip, Society Dog Show, Mickey's Delayed Date, and Mickey's Rival. This is written in comic book/graphic style. Colorful and fun.

If your children like books and Disney, they will love this collection! We received this as a gift. These are workmanlike adaptations of, or excerpts from the movie of the title: just the right length. My kids enjoyed ( and still enjoy) them, whether or not they actually saw the animated film.

My children (ages 5 & 8) love this book & tape. The illustrations of children and Disney characters on each page are bright and colorful. There are step-by-step instructions and the music is lively and fun. And these are very popular songs with these age groups & liven up our birthday parties. We had a few of my son's (5-yr.-old) friends over for an Easter Egg party recently and one of the mothers later told me that her son just loved learning how to do the Bunny Hop (my 8-yr.-old daughter and her friend led the boys in the dance). We've pulled out this tape for several previous birthday parties and we'll use it again at my son's 6th birthday party. This makes a fun gift for any child. If I could afford it, I'd buy a copy for each child attending my son's b-day party - the perfect goody bag gift.

What a charming book! Cover to cover filled with beautiful artwork, many sketches and "development" pieces as well as the finished characters. What is most amazing after looking through the entire book is how the artists capture all the things best about dogs. Through animation they can represent all the fun, compassion, intelligence and love dogs have in a way that photographs just can't.

Also, I had forgotten how many wonderful Disney dogs there have been over the years, this was a fun walk down memory lane. There's even a little Lady and the Tramp flip book at the back. Cool!

I know of at least 3 people on my list who will be getting this book for Christmas.

this is a very cute book. the diamonds really shine in the drawings. The art is very nice also. this is the best snow white book.

This is a really good Doug book!! It's very cute and funny, I liked it a lot!! All Doug fans will love it!!

It's been a couple of years, and Patti still feels kinda bad about her mom getting killed in a car crash. She miss her a lot. Doug saw how bad she feels and tried to help her feel better. I really like how Doug starts thinking how he feel if his mom were died. And then he does somthing nice so Patti thinkhe likes her. I don't know if she feels better about Mom, but I think she likes having a friend Doug. I like this book. I read it 5 times.

I liked this book because it shows Doug worring about the world coming to an end by an astroid.. He tries to forget about it by hanging out with his friends, but they are all talking about it.. Doug imagins himself as Quailman tring to save the world from the astroid...

I thought that it was nice to see this book come out.. I have always liked the Quailman Character because it helps Doug resolve his problems withoutfighting or to calm his fears about things.. I am about 31 years old and I love this book...
