If you have a chance to see the musical of the Lion King... Run to see it! It is the most colorful and beautiful play! The costumes are spectaclar. But this play is not for young children 2 to 5 year olds, even those who love the movie. Wait until they are older to take them. In the meantime they can see a small slice of the play and feel like there where there with you! Again an awesome glimpse into the musical, and if you get the chance to see this play.. RUN TO IT!

My 8 year old daughter and I loved this book! We laughed and had a special time reading it to eachother. It was fun to see Snow White a bit more modern and the last picture in her story is a hoot!

I picked this book up for my 8 month old the other day. As a "Bookie Monster" (i.e. "One who passionately devours anything with a cover and pages!") and children's writer, I tend to be choosy over the books I purchase for my daughter; I will spend hours in bookstores previewing potential books and picking them apart: "How on earth does drivel like this get the greenlighted by an editor? I've found four words spelled wrong on the first three pages!"

I can't begin to tell you what a surprise this book was. It is beautifully illustrated and written in a no-nonsense, non-dumbed down conversational style. Any adult with a hearty sense of humor will be able to appreciate this work. I laughed out loud more than once as I read through the first page; the classic view of the Queen we grew up with is shattered as she tells her story: She doesn't want your pity; as a single mother, The Queen has had little support in raising Snow White, but has done her best.

A interesting gem from the Queen points out how regular mothers are allowed to fly off of the handle now and then, and folks don't give it a second thought. Stepmothers, however, are not afforded that luxury and branded as evil when they do likewise. That's deep thinking for a children's book, but then again, I am a firm believer in not watering things down for children. They are smarter than most adults would care to admit. Any book that provokes deeper thought in a child's mind gets a huge golf clap from me.

In conclusion, this is a fresh work and a new way of seeing the flip side of the bad guys. If you are weary of tedious tales and the fruitless garbage that clutters the bookshelves of the children's section these days, I highly recommend you pick this one up. I do not have any of the other titles in this series as of yet, but that will change!

The Disney Princess Board Book Set is a collection of 3" X 3" books about each princess. My girls, Princess Naughty Pants(3) and Princess Tugboat(1 1/2) love them! The set was intended for Christmas, but as usual Princess Naughty Pants waited for the king (Daddy) to take HER afternoon nap. The king is always confused about who is to take the nap. Princess Naughty Pants wandered the kingdom until the Queen came home. The fair and beautiful queen was so disappointed with the sleeping king and worried for the princess whose face was covered with lipstick and mascara. The sweet and level-headed queen looked down at the carpet which normally is one color but now has black and peach frost glazewear ground into it. The loving and patient queen became the most worried and disappointed she had ever been at the king and Princess Naughty Pants. The shy and timid queen began "cheering" loudly at the king in a language unrecognizable to the princesses, somehow the highly intelligent queen's crown flew into the kings face.(perhaps the queen had lost weight)Princess Naughty Pants finding the set of books suddenly seemed minor... Princess Naughty Pants finds the books quite stimulating and prefers to read them while sitting on the porcelin throne. Princess Tugboat has developed a strong and tasteful attraction towards the set and especially enjoys the books with dark-haired princesses.(spicy?)Princess Tugboat has promised to try not to eat objects that bring her joy.If she cannot resist the urge of the tasty texts she pinky-swears to start at the back of the book. Hopefully, what she has nibbled already will help Princess Tugboat pass the dime the king let her "look at" on Saturday.The dime eating happened while the queen was attempting her first solo shower in 30 lbs.-I mean 3 yrs. It was mission acclomplished, almost. The king hyperventilating,burst in with one in his arms and one on his leg.Both princesses were terrified and screaming. Between heimlich manuever thrusts the royal family scrubby-dubbed. And they all lived happily everafter, because the king's head hurt too bad to call the police. The Disney Princess Board Book Set is quite lovely and I'll probably end up buying another set. The set would be fabulous at a pre-school tea party, just be careful who you invite. The only suggestion I have is," Please list the nutritional daily value on each book." I would like to monitor what my children eat or/and read.

This set is so cute and convenient. The 5 books are 3.5" x 3.5" squares and they come with a little box of 4 crayons: red, yellow, blue and green. Everything fits neatly into a little pouch that is almost as small as the book itself. You can carry them all together or one at a time. I keep atleast one in my daughter's bag so she always has something to prevent her from getting bored. She loves the stickers too.

Basically this is a set of 5 mini-coloring books with Disney Princesses in them. It includes some crayons and a sheet of small stickers. I ordered a couple of these for my children and was very happy with them. The coloring books might be small but they are good-quality. The drawings for the children to color are much better quality than I would have expected. Some of the mini-coloring books actually have a story line. These bookbag sets would be great for car trips, plane trips, restaurants, etc. They wouldn't take up much room in a diaper bag or large shoulder bag. A grandmother (Aunt, penpal, etc) who is cross-country from their grandchildren could take the mini-coloring books out of the main bag and fit a couple of them into an envelope as a nice surprise. The coloring books are small so children could use them also as prop coloring books for their larger 20"-21" dolls. I have to say that as a mom and also as an admirer of miniature books, these bookbag sets are even better than I had expected. The publisher also makes other bookbag sets with different themes and I've been equally happy with any of those I've bought (Halloween, Dora, Thomas, NickJr, Christmas, etc.)

My daughter who is going to be 5 very soon loves this item. It combines her loves - Princess motif and music in an electronic device!

Even though I didn't enjoy the stories that much, I enjoyed the music. It was insturmental music as well as an insurmental version of a song from the movies. I hope someday there will be more MYPODs with books

My daughter has always loved books and this one is no exception! She loves everything princess these days and therefore, this book was a big hit! She loves searching the pictures for the treasures hidden within...

Fans of look and find adventures will absolutely love Disney Princesses Worlds of Wonder Look and Find. The illustrations are as great as you might expect from Disney. Kids will adore visually following Princess Belle, Cinderella, Briar Rose, Snow White and Ariel through castles, forests and the deep-sea. All are, of course, packed with tons of wonderful things to discover.

This is an illustrated chapter book for ages 7-9 (Grades 2-4). My daughter is a Jasmine fan & loved it. Book covers story in Disney's 2004 collection edition DVD.

This book is one of the best paper adaptions from Disney's Aladdin. In 60 pages Princess Jasmine tells the story of Disney's Aladdin through her eyes.

We borrowed this from the library. My 6 year old loved it so much, we are looking for a copy of our own. There are stories that are hard to find...the Little House brought back memories for me and my husband. Highly recommended!

I think that this book is absolutely brill. It really helped me alot because i have always wanted to be a disney animator so hopefully with an idea of how to draw disney cartoons my dream will come true!

I've always wanted to be an animator for Disney. I created my own cartoon about a cat and her pet dog. it's a great book for learning how animation works. Don Hahn does a great job of bringing a lot of information to kids in an understandable way.
