This is a great kid oriented calendar that our whole family uses. The date boxes are large to write numerous events and activities in. Purchased in 2007, 2008 and will continue to purchase in future.

I bought the Winnie the Pooh Calendar for my wife for Christmas and she loves it. But imagine my horror when I realized that Febuary had 29 days. OK I'm just kidding of course it has 29 days it's Leap Year. The pictures are entertaining and cheerful, much better than the Pooh calendar I bought last year. This is the one to buy if you're looking for Pooh, Winnie the Pooh that is.

Disney always creates a wonderful and colorific WTP calendar. I buy one every year. You can never go wrong in buying this for the WTP obsessed person in your life. Mostly the calendar consists of scenes with Pooh, Tigger and Piglet (mostly Pooh with Piglet) with the rare occasional appearance of Eeyore, also an appearance of Roo and/or a Heffalump. Not for fans of Kanga, Gopher, Rabbit or Owl as they are almost never in the calendars. It would be nice if all of the Thousand Acre friends were in at least one scene together. Also a nice bonus would be a few stickers to either put on the calendar or elsewhere.

I gave this to my cousin's son. He loved it. For a boy who doesn't enjoy school he was having a lot of fun reading this book.

This is a book for all ages.
Small children of all ages will love the pictures and parents can enjoy it as well.
My mother who is 81 loves this this book.
Finally, there is a book that explains our universe in a fun way for all of us to enjoy.
I think everyone on our beautiful planet should read this book!

I am the author of this book, and I just wanted to point out that the age level is not quite correct in the listing. We designed the book for kids who can already read pretty well. So the age range should be 10 to 14, not 4-8. (I think maybe the person entering the information meant grades 4-8.) In any case, as the author, I invite you to take a look at the beautiful color images and fun quips from Disney and Pixar characters throughout the book.

I had a great vacation with this book

This is a marvellous compendium of useful facts about the world's largest theme park. I found it highly illuminating - it has profoundly altered the way I percieve Walt Disney World and its manifold attractions. Since I first tried it a few years ago, I've been using this book to guide my various trips to Disney World ever since.

Since the choices in the field of Disney-related guides are vast, I was amazed that one should rise so far to the top of the class. The work is informative and wittily written. Fenster's humor will keep you rolling and his completeness smokes the competition. This ought to be the bible for any family or individual planning a Central Florida vacation. A really fabulous resource which directed my family's vacation and will do so again.

This is the 2nd book of this type that I have purchased for my 4 year old daughter. She loves it as much as the others. For princess-lovers, I would recommend it.

This book was great if you do not have much time to read to your kids at night. It literally is a 5 minute storybook (unless your daughter asks too many questions then it might turn into a 10 minute session). Either way, it is a great book for kids who likes Disney princess stories. The book is somewhat large in size but thin so it is great for storage and it does not occupy too much space. The stories have different plots so it made it more interesting. I gave it 5 stars because it is one of my daughter's favorite books.

My girls have had this book (and the More 5 Minute Princess Stories) for quite a while now and they still love to hear these short stories (they even sleep with the books in their beds!). It is so nice to read something beyond the classic story and I would love it if disney made even more of these!

My son is 2 and loves Little Einstein. Thought the book might be a little young for him but he knows exactly what to do with the spinning circle. He just loves it

In this book tarzan outsmarted everyone. In real life you have to be smart to win, you dont have to be strong and be the bad guy you just have to use your brain well. As always parents get mad at acctivities you like and so did Tarzan. Dont you hate it!

My two year old son loves books.His favorite movie is Disney's Tarzan so this was a perfect choice for him. The book has beautiful pictures and is easy to read to a young child. It is also a wonderful tale for all ages, I have to admit I almost cried at the end!

Disney's "The Little Mermaid Special Edition" storybook is an excellent choice for the family with young readers and children who need a bedtime story. This book has brilliant illustrations (that appear to have been taken directly from the film) that pop off of the page. Bright blues and greens highlight each page.

What's even better about this book is that it is loyal to the Disney version of the classic "Little Mermaid" story. Nothing is skipped over and ever detail from the film manages to be covered.

Recommended to anybody who has a youngster who's wanting to read a "big" book or, as stated before, any family with kids who need bedtime stories. I highly recommend this book.

My son has been smitten with Ariel ever since he saw her live show at Disney World--and even more so since he got the 2-Disc Plantinum edition of The Little Mermaid!

This 96-page hardcover book tells the tale of the exuberant red-haired mermaid, Ariel, as she pines after Prince Eric and launches a dangerous quest to become human.

The Special Edition book features beautiful holographic detailing on the cover, as well as full-color illustrations throughout. It looks to me that these illustrations were taken *directly* from the movie.

It's a long, chapterless book (for a child)--the most comprehensive Little Mermaid book I've seen thus far. This means that you'll see Ariel sign Ursula's devious contract, the French chef chasing Sebastian with a butcher knife, Ariel and Eric about to kiss in the lagoon ("Kiss the Girl"), Flotsam and Jetsam (Ursula's electric eels) trying to drown Prince Eric, and much more.

Fans of The Little Mermaid will adore this special edition Disney book, but if you're skittish about your little one seeing the movie (or have reservations after allowing them to see it and experiencing some of the frightening sequences such as Ursula turning into a giant monster) then you may want to pass on this book (since it doesn't edit out the scary parts).

This is another novel from Disney's The Parent Trap and I just love it! A must buy book or if you prefer more just go to the nearest cinema and see the movie for yourself if it's still showing.

This is a cute re-telling of Jack and the beanstalk with a few changes. In this version there are no worries that Mickey might be doing wrong to steal the harp (which is the only thing he takes) from the giant as it originally belonged to the castle near Mickey's house. Mickey merely returns the harp, which provides happiness and plenty to the town, back to its rightful owner. The rest of the story is the same; Mickey still trades a cow for three magic beans. When he gets home Donald and Goofy are disgusted with him, so throw the beans out. They all go up and rescue the harp. They cut the beanstalk as the giant is going down, thus killing the giant.

The story is done in classic Disney style, which is bright, bold and very cute. The words flow well and are easy to read out loud

All in all, a good re-telling of a classic tale.

There are lots of puzzles to choose from and provide hours of fun for my kids. It was very well put together and the puzzle pieces actualy stay in the pages.

my 4 yr old grand daughter loved this book. she can put it together forwards and backwards. we took turns putting in the pieces and making it a game. always finishing one puzzle before we started another one. we even loved it when the puzzle fell out of it frame when we turned the page. because we had to put the puzzle together again. pieces are big enough and easy to handle.

Puzzles are suberb learning tools for young and old. Puzzles can help develope young minds with logic, shapes and colors. They are Fantastic instruments for rehabilitation of stroke victums. They are even wonderful for challenging skills and dexterity at parties. This is a beautiful collection of simple puzzles with nice bright colors and cheerful characters. Each of the 7 puzzles have 24 jigsaw pieces and can easily be stored for safe keeping in their frame within the book. But the best part is the summation of the movie each puzzle represents. This would make a wonderful gift for any Disney Pixar fan.
