I like this story because it is very mysterious. When you find out about the blue door and how people find out about these wonderful, surprising things, you will find it to be very interesting.

A young girl riding a carousel uses her imagination for a magical adventure. Her carousel horse carries her to dance with dolphins and ride on a star before heading back home. Beautiful pictures enhance this poetic story. It's great to share with young children.

Pat Cummings has created a great story with expressive and vibrant pictures. I especially liked the thought from Alex's father as he tells why he couldn't stay angry. This is a great way to help kids see through the anger and look at what is really bothering them and learning to deal with it. I teach 2nd grade and this book is right on their level.

This is a great book. It's a collection of 3 Carousels magazines No. 1 to 3. It has many short but moving stories that teaches values and virtues. Following each story is an exercise composed of several questions about it that helps a kid comprehend the story better. I got to know this book because my 5-year-old kid got several reading and written assignments on it from his kindergarten teacher. Every time he brought this book home, my 3-year-old kid would be very excited because she liked the stories in it, too. It is a good book that you can keep for very long. Younger ones love to listen to the stories and the older ones can can use it to sharpen their reading and writing skills. It seems a bit pricey; however, if you can find it at a used book store, by no means, buy it.

This book has many patterns and complete instructions on the best methods to scale the pattern to a desired size. It is thorough and well written.

I remeber reading this book in Antigua Girls' High School. Nice and funny. A definite for any child growing up in the West Indies.

How would your life change if your were an established and beautiful singer in Budapest and your city was invaded first by the Germans and then by the Russians? I am sorry Spielberg has so far missed this book as it has all the ingrediants for a spell binding movie as well as being a fantastic read. This is the true story of the life of the author's mother and it's well written and thouroughly enjoyable.

The way the author describes the caracters and the action in the book, made it visible to me as I read it. I could very easily see this book as a movie, it had everything you could want in a mystery book. It has a very interesing murder weapon. The main character isn't the typical PI.

I really like this book because it has lots of beautiful carousel horses and all kinds of neat animals. My favorite sticker was the Tiger because it is so colorful and it looks sneaky. I also liked the rainbow maned horse with the phoniex bird saddle because the horse looks so wild.

A long sought-after favorite of collectors is back in print!! Cecil Aldin is known for capturing the personality of dogs perfectly in his illustrations. If you're unfamiliar with his work this book is a charming introduction. A must-have if you love dogs, and especially if you collect dog books.
