The write up hype about the book was better than the book, which was disjointed and confusing and somewhat dark.

This book was such a turn off that I could only finish it half way through. Too much story line devoted to a dominant woman who likes to force other women to please her sexually against their will. The rape scenes end with the dominant woman urinating in her victim's mouths. Very gross. Couldn't finish it.

Actually It is a chapter of 12 pages extrated from the book Mental Chemestry and it has 30 pages "blank on purpose" (?) . It is too expesive, If you like Charles Haanel I recomend buy the complete book instead of this fraction chapter only.

The book was nothing at all like I thought it would be. I was expecting a book about spiritual principals and applying them. By the time the book finally began to discuss the subject matter - somewhere around page 200, when she began her online dating encounters, I had lost all respect for the author and wasn't sure I could buy anything she had to say anymore. The first 200 pages of the book was devoted to the bitter account of the author's divorce and custody battle. The point of the book seemed to be little more than revenge on her ex-husband and his attorney because the courts awarded him custody of their children. I kept wondering when the laws of attraction would show up, as the author continuously attracted the exact opposite of everything she ever wanted - and the more the story progressed, the harder I found it to sympathize with her. The book gives a graphic, uncomfortably detailed, blow by blow description of an incredibly messy divorce and custody battle right down to the verbiage in the court papers. It is so detailed the reader feels like a voyeur watching a private family drama that they have no business seeing. (Sadly, that voyeuristic feeling only intensifies when she shares all of her private email correspondence with the man who became her second husband.) I was left with the belief that the only way her first marriage would have survived was if her husband had agreed with every decision she made about how to raise their children, never offered a differing opinion, and never questioned her choices - no matter how detrimental to the children he believed they were. Yet she tells the whole story from the point of view of a martyred mother wronged by her ex-husband, the courts, attorneys, and society at large. The entire first half of the book offers not one word about the laws of attraction, any spiritual message, or even an uplifting sentence. If you are looking for spiritual guidance, stick with Deepak Chopra - Cheryl Steinberg still has a lot of evolving to do.

Whether or not Velikovsky is as foolish as he appears, only time and future historians will tell. What we do know today is that no scientist in good standing could ever state what he has statedly as confidently and wrongly as Velikovsky has so stated.

All the same, the over-reaction to some of Velikovsky's work and lack of reaction to other parts of it suggest that the school of thought that physical science belongs to is quite immature. That is to say that it has not reached the level where it will try and rigorously DISPROVE certain ideas with the same gusto and inspiritation that it has done in PROVING other ideas. Just a couple of generations ago, certain branches of mathematics reached such a state where they asked and answered the question of how to prove that certain problems cannot be solved. (Compass and straight edge cannot square a circle. Solutions to most higher-order polynomials cannot be found using algebra and radicals)

The physical sciences today seem to rely more on training, ethics, politics, and actually various sorts of refined VIOLENCE and CRUELTY to maintain order within its institutions. Anyway, it's a mess. And the recent "science" surrounding Global warming suffers from this less than intellectual state of affairs.

Bottom line: this book of Velikovsky should have been disproven instead of dismissed. Maybe someday someone will get up the courage to do just that.

Okay so this book by Linda Hudson Smith is just unreal to me. I'm not feeling Linda Hudson-Smith. I mean, to fall in love with a homeless man sounds too far fetched. I'm sure it's happened but I mean come on now. And Laylah, oh my god, her character is just too naive and just how she talks was almost fragile like. She also was too trusting to invite this "homeless" man into her home after the second day of meeting him to give him a job at the house was just so stupid. The use of the word "darn" was such overkill, it made me use the word "damn" in it's place just so it sounds more real. So I don't recommend this book at all. Keep it right on the shelves of your local store that carries Kimani or borrow it if you really want to read it.

This was a scam. It shouldn't be sold as a book. It is only a few pages long with a lot of empty pages so they could bind it into a book format. Don't buy it. I wish I could get my money back. I would rate it zero stars if possible.

What a total load of self indulgent crap. Just because someone thinks himself to be a writer and claims 'Christianity' most certainly doesn't mean they should be giving advice to others, and others certainly shouldn't listen to it. Perhaps the author should try living these so called principles in his own life or his family's life before spewing them to others. Perhaps 'remove the mote in thine own eye first' applies quite well. Give it up Bruce, get a real day job.

Tried it for 21 days as it specifies and nothing happened. As a person who has left smoking thanks to a 1hr hypnosis session i can say that hypnosis does work on me ( remember that our brains are all different) however the product, nor the workbook it directs you to delivers on what it promises, at least not for me. I suggest you save your money and stick to the Secret of any subliminal software, you are guaranteed that it works. Best of luck in your journey...
