John Waddell has either by design or by chance two books within the covers of "John and Jeanie Fly." It is a highly unconventional foray into a realm of a spirituality that is unique to me or, it is a delightful fantasy that lifts the spirits as nothing I've read before.

John and Jeannie fly was a great ride and a wonderful introduction into the principles and application of the law of attraction. I think one of the most powerful aspects of the book was seeing John's thoughts and how he reacted to a situation, often a challenging one. Then seeing him reevaluate his initial reaction (fear,upset anger) and then consciously, intently change his perspective turning his reaction into (opportunity, compassion, understanding) and ultimately creating a positive outcome. Which is nothing less than changing reality and when I think about it, this is probably the most powerful thing a human being can do.

This simple principle/practice alone if understood and applied can turn anyone's life into a whatever reality they choose to create. Being a fan of Robert Anton Wilson (" reality is what you can get a way with" and others mystics, yogis and cognitive researchers. I found this book enlightening inspiring and even found myself (half way through reading the book) in a tense situation trying to imagine how 'John' would turn this annoyance and anger into a good thing for everyone.

In addition the intent to see the positive in all people creates a world of friends and endless possibility. I have travelled the world for more than 20 years visiting and living in many places where I knew no one, nor often the language. This simple principle of expecting kindness and seeing kindness in all people brought me wonders and made for some of the most interesting experiences of my life. I think we all know some of the law of attraction intuitively but what John Waddell has done is make it crystal clear and easy to understand how it works and why it works.

Finally reading this book made me acutely aware how much I am responsible for my thoughts, what I see, where I am and that in fact my reality is exactly that MY reality. Most important was realizing that I have the ability to change it at anytime....and to me there is nothing more fun than manifesting a conscious intended reality!

John and Jeanie Fly is a fanciful and thoughtful story about two people who suddenly realize they have acquired the capacity to fly. While the plot lines follow John and Jeanie into fame and the conflictual experiences of the military's interest in this capacity, the heart of the book really lies in the ways that John and Jeanie (ironically)maintain their sense of "rootedness" in the values that they hold dearest--living a joyful life with love at its center. While there are several books on the market that explain the Law of Attraction, this little gem of fiction IS the Law of Attraction. Dr. Waddell creates a world where flying really does feel possible, where it is easy to suspend one's disbelief and feel as if we, too, are flying. And when we do have to re-enter the "real" world, realizing that we can not (yet) fly, what we are left with is a world that is "merely" filled with joyfulness and love--not really much of a come down at all!

Dr. John Waddell has written a book of fiction that takes an idea from our wildest dreams, FLYING, and beautifully constructs a thourghly entertaining scenario of what might happen if you could actually fly in a world where no one else can. His characters in the book are John and Jeannie, a happily married couple who have lived up until they discovered this unusual flying ability, a contented life of love yet modest success. Because they can fly, they are suddenly in demand for talk shows and events to prove it is not a hoax. Huge sums of money starts flowing in, and a first class airline ticket and chaffered limo, which might have seemed extravagant just a few days before, are now oddly enough just the status quo. But with overnight success comes it it's own set of contrasting challenges that John and Jeannie deftly sort through by applying years of study regarding the principals of Law of Attraction and how all of us knowingly or unknowingly create our own reality. Underlying beliefs of living in a partly hostile partly friendly world start to surface. The couple finds themselves embroiled in international controversy, needing to defend against accusations of trickery, being an outright fraud, possible terrorism, and even being a threat to national security. So what began as magical experience, the stuff of which fairy tales are made of, turns into the most challenging situations they have ever faced in their lives. While being swept up in the story of what will happen next, the reader is gently and cleverly shown how similar (thought less dramatic) situations in our own lives, can be turned around with pivoting our thinking from a negative to a positive out come.
This is a must read for students of deliberate creation, for those who loved the Secret, and for readers of the words of Abraham, through Jerry and Ester Hicks. It would be a great gift to introduce these ideas to someone who believes that some people are just lucky with no rhyme or reason as to what happens to us. It is a fun yarn whether one cares a hoot about the of the Law of Attraction in action and a great addition to any book shelf.

John and Jeanie Fly, by Dr. John Waddell, was a delight to me. I loved John Waddell's matter of fact tone about exploring the evolution of humanity into the ability to actually fly! What imagination! I love that he blew the ceiling off what was probable or reasonable to me, and has allowed his fancy to literally take flight, and then to take me along for the ride through this book.

Who doesn't love flying dreams??? And to expand the dream into everyday reality is a joy to behold. By the middle of the book, I had suspended my disbelief and was eager to find out what John and Jeanie would experience next, where their flying would take them, and how they would navigate through some increasingly challenging waters they encountered.

I particularly loved John's relationship with Jeanie in the book and the support they give each other in using Law of Attraction, even in experiences of powerful contrast, both those that seem positive and the ones that appear negative. They each remind the other to reach for thoughts that feel better, to remember to bring love into EVERY situation, and to relax into their knowing of wellbeing as often as possible. My favorite line in the whole book was "we had made an agreement early on, if one of us had a more mature response, the other would follow." Wow, that's such a powerful realization of the evolution of humanity right there!

Like the Sara Books series from Abraham-Hicks Publications, by Esther and Jerry Hicks, John and Jeanie Fly gives moment to moment teaching by example of how to use the Law of Attraction to focus well being in our lives. It's powerful to see in print how someone actually can think and react, and then CHOOSE to think again, feeling his way to a clearer, more loving perspective on any situation. I am grateful that John Waddell is such a way shower in teaching by his example, in real life, and through his character in this book.

I recommend this book and look forward to more in this series, and to more books that focus like this on what increasingly loving enlightened consciousness, in thought, speech and action, can look like as we move through daily life.

I just wanted to give you an update as to how I believe your CD has worked for me so far.

While listening to the CD I saw myself having a conversation with a woman that is becoming a partner of mine. In our last meeting she stated that she didn't want to charge for our services. That she wanted to give it away. (We will be working with Children that have learning disabilities and she just wants to help.) I thought long and hard about this and it just didn't sit well with me. This book is a quick and wonderful read. It is right to the point. It took me all of 1.5 days to read this book from cover to cover. I do recommend this book for those that are beginning to get into LOA.

Having read creative visualization by Shakti Gawain and Ask and it will be given by Hicks, this was easy to follow. The book is well written and concise to the point. A good buy.

Whenever I feel down I open it and read a couple of pages and somehow it again puts me in touch with myself and everything around seems to be fine and much easier again. It helps me to realize that I am the one who creates my life and if I don't like it this way, it is up to me to create something else. The whole book is just so loving and very empowering in such a gentle way.
The only book I can compare it with is The Conversation With God. If you liked that one you will love this one.

I have been reading and studying new age books all my life. This book came to me while I was training to become a minister and it has become my bible of sorts. It is absolutely the most profound and positive book I have ever read and I highly recommend it. You can open it to any page and find comfort and guidance. The books premise is that you are responsible for everything that happens to you in your world. It advocates that you must love yourself first (in a spiritual way) and enlightenment will follow. Sort of like the book 'The Secret', but from a higher source. If you don't already own this book, you need to.

This book is probably the best new-age metaphysical book I have ever read.

John is a brilliant channeler. Even if you do not get the whole concept of channeling, you can still get everything you need out of this text.

In the book, John answers most of life's most difficult challlenges, including race, disaster, abundance, personal choice, reincarnation and others. The answers that he shares in the book are absolutely profound beyond any measure. I can honestly say that if you are open to new ways of thinking about your personal purpose on the earth, this book will absolutely change your life for the better.

This book gives you is logical explantions of the nature of reality and it teaches you to be your own teacher. What this book offers is absolute freedom!

I agree with Krmickova Simona's review! This is the only book that has had such a profound life-changing effect on my life! I have been involved with Unity Church for 5 years - they are love, abundance, forgiveness, connectedness and prosperity conscious, and this book allowed me to finally believe and live this viewpoint! Whenever I begin negative thinking or victim thinking, I think on Omni's message and my emotional clarity and a focus on joy returns. I discovered this course via the Universe of Power website, and my husband and I started the lessons simultaneously, figuring it would be a great way to support one another in accomplishing our goals.
We began our journey together four weeks ago.
My results have been minor but apparent thus far -- Things are begining to shift as I'm transforming my mindset. More notable, however, are my husband's manifestations since starting the course:

I am SO excited about this AMAZING program! It goes WAY beyond The Secret. I've done the first few lessons and have already had BINGO moments! I got the audio program from the Universe of Power web site which had other stuff that I want to check out more closely later.

I thorougly enjoyed this program. I am addicted to self-help materials. They service as a mental form of innoculation against the negativity that pervades the environment. If you can get past the cheesy forward by Florence Henderson and the amateur typesetting, this book will alter the way you see yourself and members of the opposite sex. And you will finally understand!

According to the author, there are two kinds of "sexual personalities": Emotional (E) and Physical (P). Emotionals are more reserved, need sex less often, and are generally more introverted and less expressive. When they hear things, they are liable to infer all kinds of meaning. When speaking, they are direct and say what they mean, however bluntly it may come across. Physicals, on the other hand, are ready for sex on a moment's notice, bond more readily with their lover, are intensely devoted, and draw more attention to themselves, particularly in their appearance and mannerisms. They hear things literally, and speak inferentially, meaning that they must give you all the background in order to make their point. Everyone has some mix of Emotional and Physical traits but generally we're ruled by one and attracted to the other.

This book goes into depth on how the two personalities attract, relate, and clash. It offers ways that they can maintain the attraction without the clashing. It also gives great ways to attract/meet your complimentary opposite. It will shed great light on the relationships of your past and present (as well as future).

This book explains it all!!!! Are you a Physical or an Emotional? The book clearly defines, so there is no guessing on your part, which one everyone is. It get's down to the very basics that a Physicals heart and pluse beat faster than an Emotionals and a Physicals body temperature is higher than an Emotionals. Opposites do attract because they are attracted to what they find different. Understanding the differences allows them to accept and not try to change the other person when a found in a relationship. Physicals are more comfortable verbalizing, touching and living by feelings. Emotionals are more comfortable thinking, retaining his/her own counsel and living by logic and reason. One is heart-ruled, one is head-ruled. Both are capable of thinking and feeling, and both posses an ability to act out both logically or emotionally. Yet each is more comfortable with one behavior than the other. Physicals are more emotionally ruled, and place more emphasis on the success of their relationships over the sucess of their careers. Emotionals, place the most emphasis on the logical and analytical needs of life. They are most comfortable giving priority to career or work, not emotions. Emotionals express, for the most part, through logical, non-emotional words and gestures, while Physicals express emotionally. When confronted with danger or threat, the Emotionals first response is to back away and think things through while the Physicals first reaction is to express and act out what they feel. Emotionals express what they think, while Physicals express what they feel. Emotionals HEAR inferentially, they SPEAK literally, and Physicals HEAR literally, they SPEAK inferentially. This is a must read for everyone. You will have a better understanding of human interactions. Highly recommended.

This book transformed my life! After reading it about eight years ago, it helped me to understand the compelling attraction & polarity force behind my most intense relationships, and why they would play out the way they did (ending). I found Seven Dragons to be the perfect book for guiding me in business and life. I connected with Jen and her story immediately and the light yet insightful way she presents solutions with practical and guided exercises. Knowing your Dragons Rule #6 was particularly useful. I loved the book!

Jen has written a wonderful book that explains why we get stuck and then she gives exercises to get us moving again. All of us have our dragons that get in our way. And Jen's book helps us to make friends with the dragons so we can change our behaviors and bring success into all areas of our lives. And best of all, it's fun to read! Jen's Seven Dragons aren't scary, but instead have names like Dino and Alice. If you want to ditch your negative thought patterns easily and quickly, then Jen's book is for you!

Jen has written a great combination style of practical useful information yet entertaining and easy to read. If you are looking for ways to improve your resourcefulness, then get a copy of Seven Dragons so you can avoid the 7 areas that hold people back from their success.

When I first found out about Jen Blackert's, Seven Dragons, A Guide to a Limitless Mind, I thought it might be just one more Law of Attraction book in a list of many out there. I wondered if it would add any more substance to what I had already heard.

Yes, this book acknowledges the Law of Attraction, but Blackert adds her own blend of perspectives so it's not necessarily a rehashing what you've already heard from The Secret, Napoleon Hill, etc. Whether you share every one of her philosophies or not, her suggested exercises can help unlock what you already know but haven't quite tuned into yet. It's an interactive self-coaching book with a variety of activities. If one thing doesn't resonate for you, you can try something else. You can also skip around and use whatever you want whenever you're ready.

My favorite exercise, and one which has propelled me forward in amazing ways within the span of a few weeks, is work I did in association with what Blackert calls the resistant dragon. Bottom line, I had understood zero resistance in theory, but it wasn't until I did Blackert's mental unblocking exercise that I really got it and could actually release resistance. Out of this work, I came up with a plan that has propelled me in ways I have not expected and at an exhilarating pace!

Caveat: My opinion of this book is buoyed by the fact that the results pegged me for a Lion or Tiger. How great is that!?!

In any event, it's a fun book that you can easily get other people interested in, with humorous results. On a side note, I do wish the author could explain why most people taking this survey came out as Otters--an Otter Epidemic.

It is also very interesting how the results really reflect one's sense of self.

Anyway, good stuff...buy it cheapskate!

I bought it two months ago and I've done the test to everyone who comes nearby. I love them and I enjoy reading both of them! I think the author (Roy Feinson) ahould keep on writing such excellent books... and such funny books!

A few friends and I sat around and read this book. It's really fun. You take this small survey and the answers match you to certain animals. You read the description of the animals and choose which one you relate with the most. It was pretty accurate and lots of fun. We got to figure out how we saw ourselves AND how others analyzed us. It's a great and fun read with friends.

While this book helped me think more clearly about what I see in today's headlines, gave me tools for understanding the current convergence and to judge how companies such as Google and Viacom respond. It also helped me think about patterns in other industries where there is resistance to innovation and how early adopters can benefit. I found the history of the industry fascinating as well.

I got this book because I wanted to learn more about the changes I see taking place in entertainment, things like YouTube and watching new TV shows on iPods. The book covered this and a lot more. It provided an eye opening look at similiar intersections btw tech and entertainment in the recent past as well as a look into what the future holds. I don't work in either industry, but I found the book to be well written and easy to read (very entertaining, really!).
