After deciding to focus on building my own spiritual businesses, I decided I needed some help (or maybe some distraction from actually WORKING)...anyway, I came to Amazon and began looking at various Spiritual Marketing titles. This book was one of a couple I picked up and I am thrilled I did!

It is written in a very conversational style...easy and FUN to read. I could not put it down when I started reading...plus, I just could NOT stop. The ideas are easy and presented in a manner that even the most computer or marketing shy lightworker can grasp (I hope). The concepts also make sense and anyone should be able to see how your business wil grow exponentially!

Ironically (hmm, is anything ironic?), I had just gotten back from a big conference in a networking marketing opportunity and was grappling with some of the VERY ISSUES that Robert covers in his book! So, if you had been considering that type of route...lots of good info here.

If you are ready to build your business, take control of your own destiny and get going on financial freedom...buy this book! I am going to be recommending it to all of my friends...and their friends...and their friends...

Robert hit the nail right on the head. When I finally learned that my business does not have to be hard, and I don't have to sacrifice and be stressed all the time my life joyfully changed. Yes, most likely you will work and spend time at your business if you want to be successful. However, the spin you put on it makes all the difference. As Robert explains so eloquently in his book do you business from joy. Look to serve others, be a blessing to others. I wake up every morning thanking my creator for the blessing of my business and I wonder who will be lucky enough to talk to me today? Whose life can I enhance? What a wonderful guide. We travel extensively, always with the Interstate Exit Authority as our companion on road trips. However, our current edition is 1998. We anxiously await the 1999/2000 edition to be available. Anyone have a clue when that might be?

I travel from Michigan to Florida with my family every summer. This year we bought a copy of the Exit Authority and let me tell you what -- it is GREAT! We used it every time we wanted to stop somewhere. We even let the kids get in on the act and they loved it too. I recommend it!

We use the interstate often to travel and what a delight it is to know what is available at any interstate in the country. The organization is easy to use. I loved it.

Everyone should have this book. They will know what is at the exit and if the rig they have will fit at the gas station, shopping etc. Rest areas and dumps are a must and the Exit Authority has done a fabulous job of them. They have saved us many times over. Now I need a authority on the other highways that are not interstate. Where can I find that? This Exit Authority is a must for everyone whether they have an RV or just touring in an automobile. Great work.

As a coach who works with adults on applying the Law of Attraction, I often get asked about how we can teach our children about this principle. I haven't had a resource to send folks to until BeJoWilo's Upper House!

Demetra does a great job of demonstrating in a fun and exciting way the power of a child's thoughts and feelings to create the world they want. This is a great book to demonstrate through the experience of the characters, not lecture, how children create in their own world.

This is a must, for adults who consciously use the Law of Attraction, to pass on to their children!

BeJoWiLo's Upper House offers a wonderful opportunity for children to learn empowering and valuable life lessons, while they are engaged in the unfolding mystery of it's young characters. I highly recommend it!

This book was given as a gift to my 8 year old grandson and he asked me to read it with him. I was as entertained by it as he was. He learned some great lessons in an easy to understand, yet fascinating story of 3 young boys.

There are many levels to this delightful story as the characters journey into new adventures in their outer world which is paralleled by journeys of their inner world. Universal themes of facing fear, embracing new challenges, and appreciating beauty are communicated in language appropriate for this age level. I found it to be engaging and charming.

There is no doubt that this thought-provoking book capitalizes on the passions which prove to compromise the human condition. The author utilizes moral wisdom handed down for nearly two-thousand years to confront the perplexed and wounded soul. It was very nice to read about the fact that those who engage in same-sex attractions should never be hated, scorned or dealt with unjustly or even uncharitably in any way! Bravo to this author for a well balanced approach to this contemporary and often thorny issue. I found the book to be replete with sage advice for all readers. No where did I perceive any Christian propaganda, as some may think and attempt to excoriate a most beneficial commentary of this kind. As we all may see the signs of the times, this book although short,will cast some light on relationships that's for sure. A smooth read, to say the least. Thomas Hopko's sensitive and inclusive look at relationships is an excellent opportunity for anyone to fine tune and explore the meaning of relationship in their lives. Highly recommended reading for anyone.

Below is a review of Fr. Hopko's book that was unfortunately received by the publisher after the book had already gone to press, and was therefore not included with the final publication. Dr. Elizabeth Stuart is a Professor of Christian Theology at the University of Winchester. She is also a lesbian and a leading UK theologian specializing in Queer Theology. I believe the review speaks eloquently to the value of this book for those on both sides of this emotionally-charged issue. Her review is as follows:

"Although I profoundly disagree with the stance taken towards homosexuality in this book I found it a delight to read. It is a careful, compassionate and comprehensive discussion of contemporary same-sex attraction from the perspective of the Orthodox tradition. It is informed by gay and lesbian theology and other alternative perspectives. I would recommend it to all who study or who are personally involved in the issues around same-sex relationships in the Christian tradition, perhaps particularly to those not part of the Orthodox tradition, for the rich theology of that tradition frames the debate in very different terms to those of other denominations. This book holds out the possibility of a debate which need not fracture the Church nor create alarming levels of animosity between Christians. For this reason alone, it is worth reading and engaging with."

The Author: Father Tom Hopko, one of America's leading Orthodox theologians, author of many books, professor emeritus at St. Vladimir's Seminary.

Writing style: Succinct, clear, to the point. The whole book is just 126 pages, about half of those being notes.

Topic: The relationship between Orthodox Christianity, love, and same-sex attraction.

You will expect the author to scripturally and traditionally explain why same-sex genital relations are incompatible with Christianity. He does a good job of this, citing not only the Bible and Patristics but many current authors who disagree.

Father Tom also does a superb job of differentiating for Enlish-only readers, that Love has four components, Agape (charity), Storge (affection), Philia (fraternal love), and Eros (sex). He points out that in our fallen world, that it will be inevitable that many of us will have sinful passions of every sort, including an interest in same-sex pornia. He clearly separates this manifestation of God's providential permission from God's Essential Love.

In so doing, he shows that platonic same-sex love- in the form of agape, philia, and storge, is quite normal but argues convincingly that same-sex genital attraction joins a pantheon of other sinful desires, from gluttony to theft, as something we may have urges towards and even natures towards, but that we must deal with, not succumb to.

He then spends that last third of his monograph suggesting ways to live a Christian life and be welcome in the church and to deal with not only same-sex eros but a host of serious vices.

Perhaps his two most telling quotes are relegated to the footnotes. He quotes Saint Anthony to point out that all asceticism and mortification is not good, and that it can be pointless at times. He also has a wonderful quote about Christian living from the late Father Alex Schmemann; "It's how you deal with what you've been dealt."

Many readers who are same-sex practitioners won't want to read that their eros is a cross to bear, not a divine love. On the more fundamentalist end of the spectrum, some might have expected more condemnation from Father Tom (because they don't understand the Orthodoxy hermenuetic of Love, perhaps?).

Yet, Father Tom does a passionate defense of civil law, the civil rights of those in same-sex unions, and passionate chastisement of those who are too judgemental.

All readers will have to admit that this work is logical, compassionate, well-organized and researched, and in synchrony with mainstream Orthodox theology.

This is not a ponderous tome; it is a fresh and modest monograph. Those interested in the topic should take time to read it.

Christian Faith And Same-Sex Attraction by Thomas Hopko (Dean Emeritus of St. Vladimir's Seminar) is an informed study presenting the visionary perspective of the church and the religious ideals towards same-sex attraction. Clearly defining theological and pastoral insights concerning the experience of same-sex-desires and acknowledgements, Christian Faith And Same-Sex Attraction analyses the nature of gender identity and sexuality through the perspective of Christian Orthodox theology and is very strongly recommended reading for members of the Orthodox Christian church seeking to understand the theological doctrines relative to the issues of same-sex attractions experienced by themselves and/or their friends.

I love this book. I haven't laughed so hard from a novel since I read Cold Sassy Tree in high school. I recommend this to anyone who feels nothing will ever get better, it might not, but is can get funnier!

"Coming Attractions" by Fannie Flagg is one of the most brilliant pieces of work I have ever read. It is absolutely hilarious, and very touching. It is about growing up with a young girl, named Daisy Fay. From day one she is getting into trouble. Her mother is busy trying to cover up her and her husband's bad relationship, while all 'daddy' does is sit around and drink Pabst Blue Ribbon all day, so Daisy has plenty of time to sneak in strip bars, be a Jr. Debutaunte and find an albino. The novel is in the format of a diary from Daisy at the age of six until in her twenties. This is a book that I feel every woman should read, you'll see a little bit of yourself in Daisy Fay! I believe the book is still in print, unfortunately, I don't know the name of the new novel.

I definitely recommend this book to both young and old. It will take you back to a time when life seemed innocent and interesting. I found myself laughing out loud in public and couldn't imagine someone not being touched by such a work of brilliance and humor. CHECK IT OUT! Women...especially encouraged. (Guys would like it too though)

This may be the funniest book I have ever read. I recommend it to everyone. I actually ordered from an out-of-print dealer a first edition signed of this. Paid through the nose, but it was worth it.

The only improvement that could be made is the coupons in the back of the book could have expiration dates a little later in the following year. I purchased this book in January of 2000 for a trip in Febuary and the coupons touted as saving up to $1000 expired in December of 1999. Other than that the book is very eazy to understand and will be very useful in our upcoming trip.

We used this book on our trip and saved *much* more than the cost of the book by using the coupons inside.

This is the best guide I have come across for Walt Disney World and the Orlando area. I had purchased several different books in 1999 when we took our first trip. I am purchasing this book again for our upcoming trip. Each park and it's attractions are covered in detail with helpful Power Trip info that helps make the most of your time. In addtion there are several other Orlando attractions that are covered in this book with detail covering Universal's parks and Sea World.

The book also reviews many hotels including Disney's, critiquing each in detail. Includes pricing and some of the ameneties, tips on the best times to travel to Orlando in relation to crowds, weather, and how to negotiate the best packages and pricing.

The candidness of the author and reviewers of the parks contained within this book are remarkable and really helped us plan our trip using our limited time to the best of our advantage.

I highly recommend this book as one to use to plan your Orlando vacation.

I think this book is great for fun family vacations. I have used it myself. My family had the best time. We knew where everything was and how to find it. This guide is easy to read and gives great directions. It shows maps great detailed maps of anywhere you want to go. Buy this book. Your family and you will have the best time!

This book is the BEST book on the subject of our sexuality and how the decisions we make in this very crucial area of our lives affects our psyche on EVERY level. If people only realized the tremendous impact our sexual choices make in every area of our lives, they would rethink those choices.

I bought this book by Jack Hayford because I was researching the Biblical answer to how the church should react to a preacher/minister who is exposed as having fallen into sexual sin. Something on the web caused me to believe Hayford had written about this, and had refuted the idea that a man of God only had to repent to be restored to the pulpit. So I bought this book hoping that it included that particular discussion.

It does not. However, I'm still very glad I bought the book because it contains a great wealth of instruction. The title however is somewhat misleading, because Hayford makes it clear that sex sins are no harder for God to forgive than any other sins. His point is that sex sins do more damage than other sins - to the person committing the sin, to any children that result, to anyone infected by a sexually transmitted disease, to the church, and to the world.

There is a beautiful balance between the teaching that sex sins are very damaging, and the Biblical teaching that the church is to welcome and nurture those who are the perpetrators and/or victims of sex sins. I highly recommend this book. Every Pastor and Youth Pastor should read it and start preaching and teaching what's in this book.

I have used and read many books as a part of my ministry to those who struggle with issues of sexuality, both in the realm of addictions and as a marriage counselor. This book has proven to be very helpful, as it is very accessible, and goes straight to the point. It is an encouraging book. If you are looking for something that can be used quickly to dispel the notion that sexual misbehavior is no big deal,and still encourage the person that there is another better way, this is the book to get.

This book is written from a strictly Christian worldview, a strength in my understanding.

This is a cogent and powerful guiding word from a father in the faith who's had to help many men recover, and/or many of their wives overcome. I have given away hundreds of copies of this book, mostly to pastors.

Though I acquired this book, which was conceived in 1991 over a lunch with Pastor Jack Hayford, I left Regal before the book was published 15 years later! When I first saw this book I thought it would be interesting to see what other girls think about guys. Julie Taylor has a very interesting perspective and I enjoyed reading her book. When I was recommended this book I thought it was going to exactly like the other books about dating that I've read. Boy was I wrong. This book was more informative, and wasn't written in a way that feels like you're being talked down to.

"The Girls Guide To Guys" features chapters ranging from flirting, to physical and mental abuse, and rape. This is a must read book for all teen girls who want to learn more about guys and dating, or for anyone looking for a fun and easy book to read during the summer.

I bought this book for my boyfriend's 15-year old sister. I read it first to make sure that it was something that I wanted to give her and that her mother would also be okay with. It definitely was. The author obviously remembers what it was like to be in high school and confused about guys, dating, and sex. At the beginning of the book, the author states that she will not "talk down" to the reader. She definitley lives up to that promise. One of the messages that reappears throughout the book as an underlying theme is "listen to and follow your heart - be true to who you are". At times light and fun, the author also delves into heavier issues such as rape and abuse. The author adds in bits and pieces of her own experience, but emphasizes that what may have been right for her (e.g. waiting until she was 20 and with someone she loved and who loved her back and treated her with respect to have sex but not waiting until she was married) may not be the right choice for everyone. I felt comfortable giving this book to this 15-year old girl, who is binging raised in an open-minded but Christian environment, and who, if she is anything like me and every other girl I knew at her age, could use a few words of wisdom on the topics so adeptly covered by the author.

This is a great guide for girls with unaswered questions about guys,It talks about breaking up,hooking up,rape,depression,first dates,crushes. It has it all you could think of.I read it so many times, I t really helps you through it. All u girls out there should buy it.It wont let you down!

Abbie has consented to be Monte's wife, but she has NO idea what it means to become a Southern Lady and give up the independence she knows she handles so well. This causes division between herself and Monte. At the same time, too many bad things are happening, Monte cannot explain them, but he vows to find the culprit. Cole is showing his true personality and loyalty throughout this whole book. I like him more and more all the time. Relatives from the defeated South have come to live with the newlyweds which turns out to be one long, horrid nightmare both financially and emotionally. The orphan children all have to have a home and Abbie volunteers without consulting Monte!

The town is growing, the train is coming and with it the threat of low life living, gambling, drinking and ladies of the night. When a family member becomes entangled in this mess, the whole area is affected and Abbie and Monte both have their lives threatened and attacked.

The author is developing an excellent story line for this new Colorado territory settlement, keeping Christ front and center with love at the root but the scars from the Civil War keep playing their part in the strife. Abbie's love for Monte along with her spontaneous and sometimes deadly decisions and actions cause her to extend herself and she ends up paying dearly. Living in her home is a snobbish, impossible sister in law who makes life in general torment for Abbie.

When a 14 yr. old girl ends up as a pawn in a horrible railroad land deal gone sour, the reader wonders just what makes some people tick. Suspicion, danger, violence and tragedy contine to dog this little family for whom the reader has now established a fondness.

This book has definitely improved and deepened over book one, and I have already started book 3 in this series. Thank you, Kristen.

I really loved this book about romance, and honor in the state of Colorado in the Post-Civil war era. Abbie and Monte are great characters and the plot took me off guard a couple of times. I like all of Kristen Heitzmann's books so far. They aren't dull, boring and same old kind of plot all the time. She is doing a great job on her books. Abbie is wondering why Monte's property is being sabotaged and when her determination takes over, a gun battle takes place and the results leaves Abbie devastated and shaken. Monte is being pulled back in the days of the Civil War and there is one enemy he must fight to protect Abbie and his ranch before it is too late. It shows us that God is with us in all we do and will forgive us for our sins. All in all this is one great addition to Kristen Heitzmann's ROCKY MOUNTAIN LEGACY series. You won't be disappointed in this book! I certainly wasn't!
