This is a very thorough book written by Moonstone who speaks of the importance of acknowledging the power of feelings and emotions to our earth existence. Moonstone explains that we each have power over our own lives and that this power comes by "living through" and examining our feelings. "As mirrors of The One we exercise full creative power over the reality we find ourselves in....Surrendering to the feeling of what is happening now is the path to grace."

Moonstone tells readers the benefits of being fearless enough to be vulnerable to our feelings and emotions. "You must become vulnerable...for new possibilities to reveal themselves. Our vulnerable moments are the most potent with learning potential. It invites deep realizations within the soul."

Moonstone also outlines why getting in touch with our emotions is essential to attracting the things we want in life. "When a person intends to create something, the more emotion or feeling that is attached to the intention, the more surely the manifestation will occur. If the fear of or resistance to experiencing something is greater than the confident expectation of a desired result, fear or resistance actually brings the undesired outcome into existence."

This book is a must read for those who call themselves Seekers and/or for anyone who wishes to lead a more passionate, full and energetic life.

Moonstone Star White in "High Way From Hell" has delivered a clear explanation of what this concept of the great shift in humanity's perspective is all about. So many books that I have read offer general concepts but Moonstone delivers real life examples of how to apply this to daily life.

Taken from personal experience and an obvious enlightened perspective, she covers all the basics for accomplishing this change and does it in a way that the person, who has had minimal experience in working with this information, can understand and adopt. Opening herself up to reveal her journey adds to the enjoyment and flow of reading her book.

This is an example of clear explanation of a tough concept describing the difference between the mind and the intuition or feelings;

"The conscious aspect of mind is the organizer. It is threatened by the chaotic nature of intuition. The mind knows through evaluation of past experience and societal conditioning which it uses to form judgments designed to create an orderly experience of life. What it can't figure out it will rationalize. What it is not prepared to deal with it will store in the recesses of the subconscious.

The conscious mind tries to understand everything. Mind's biggest problem with feelings or intuition is that they are disorderly, irrational and often unpredictable. Trying to talk about them does not have the same effect as allowing the feelings as they are."

This is just one example but Moonstone goes on to identify the difference between mind and feelings which for me is crucial in the understanding of the whole concept of awakening.

Moonstone tackle all the big aspects of enlightenment and the subtitle really says it all.

"Using emotion to fan the fire of enlightenment"

This statement in itself sums up the crux of the message. In "High Way From Hell" she delivers a clear, concise explanation that can benefit seasoned seekers, but more importantly the person who is just beginning their path to enlightenment.

Talk about perfect timing. When I picked up this book it was exactly what I needed in my life. I saw that her life was similar to mine. I started to put her words into action by being in the moment whether it was an emotional one or a happy one. Most of mine seemed to be the emotional moments and what I realized is that when I would stop and not try to resist what I was feeling, the feeling dissipated. Also, I found it was true about when we judge another, what we see in them is what we don't want to see about ourselves. That was profound to me. Now, I see what it is about another person and look at what in me I don't want to see about me. I can say that I live more in the moment and in my body than I have ever before. Thank you Moonstone for sharing your life and experiences with us. We can each learn something wonderful from this book. It is one you won't want to put down. I didn't!

Moonstone Star White has written a very interesting book. I am a critical thinker, a humanist, someone that interprets reality from a humanistic point of view and not from a supernatural perspective. Having said this, I decided to read this book and even though I don't agree with a lot of what it says, I do agree on many of her views. This is a very honest woman, who has written her book from her heart sharing her interpretation of reality. Her purpose to write the book, in her own words, "to trigger insights for others by sharing my own experience of truth in a way that may inspire realizations". She says it clearly, "her own experience of truth" and that is why I was willing to read the book.
Her description of passionate lovemking is so "passionate" that it will help many women and men to understand the importance of love and sexuality.
At true spiritualist leader always leads by example and what Moonstone has done with this book is a clear example of this. She has left herself wide open to criticism by people that don't share her views and she has done so because of the need to be honest with her readers. I loved her apologies to Evangelists that try to convert others to their way of thinking by using manipulation and fear.
This is a very interesting book, covers a wide area of human behavior and if you can separate some aspects of magical thinking from good psychological advice useful to all, you will really enjoy it as I did.

This is a lovely journal to keep track of thoughts but its not a workbook like Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook. I use 'Living The Secret Everyday' as a daily workbook to remind me and keep me on track to live The Secret. Great recipes, exercises and tools to practically live The Secret each and everyday.It really keeps you living in the present; practically living the secret. Pair this with a journal like this one.

If you are looking for a diary, this is it! Beautiful layout and plenty of room and great idea to record living The Secret deliberately on a day to day basis. The book, Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbook also has a journal at the end of the book to keep your thoughts and emotions and exercises to keep you focused on a daily basis which I love.

When this item says Diary it means it, its offers you lots of room to put your own thoughts down. I am really excited to see this book after one year of writing. I really enjoy the layout and messages on each page. The messages provide you with ideas to focus on each day. This Diary is a positive and wonderful place to practice the Secret every day.

I have been writing in my Secret Diary for over two weeks now- I do use it as a workbook, reading the thought on each page and responding to that or sometimes exploring another similar issue that has come up as I practice The Secret. I do not use it as a regular diary- I have another whimsical book for that- this is my workbook that keeps me focused on changing my thoughts and documenting the changes this creates in my life and in my perception of the world. It is a wonderful book- it is up to you if you want to use it as a work book or as something else-

Often, I think we all get so caught up in the chaos of the day that we don't even look at our surroundings. We complain that our life isn't what we wanted yet we don't take a moment to realize how we got there. The notion that we are what we believe and that we manifest our own beliefs about the world is practically alien to us. It's not that we don't see that we attract our fears and that we limit ourselves with misguided beliefs. Mostly, we are just so estranged from our thoughts and actions that we don't see the problem.

BeliefWorks is the product of one of those ah-huh experiences. The author met a man named Luis who told him about his Toltec heritage, information that didn't seem to quite match with the archaeological records and the history books. Luis told the author that he gained this knowledge from his teacher, a nagual. This teacher was don Miguel Ruiz, M.D., author of The Four Agreements. Eventually, the author would meet this man and learn a lot about beliefs, particularly their hidden qualities, the limitations of denial, the secret of awareness, and the power of intent.

THIS BOOK IS SO TOTALLY NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. i WAS PULLED INTO READING IT BY READING HE WAS A STUDENT OF DON MIGUELLE. SO TOTALLY NOT LIKE HIM AT ALL. GOOD FOR THE GARBAGE IS MY OPINION.

I didn't believe a "secular book" (most of its content I think to be pure neurolinguistic) could present so biblical concepts, especially on fear vs love and the decisive influence our first life experiences will produce on every sense of our whole lifespan, in a way everyone (being or not christian or other religion) understands.

Every person should study this book and compare it with many teachings we find everywhere to understand their own life and others.

Magnificent!

This is a book which rises to magnificent in it's insightfulness and clarity regarding how beliefs "run us". I highly recommend for anyone who is interested in transcending their current dream...

For some of us, Ray Dodd's book is a good reminder of what we know but often fail to apply. To others it may open a world of new ideas never thought of before. It is a book I intend to keep at hand to remind myself when I slip back into old ways of thought and habits, that I really can live my dream.

This is a wonderfully detailed, thoroughly informed, often funny guidebook written by someone truly infused with the spirit of Key West. June Keith covers architecture, writers, fishing, bars, history, dining, shopping and everything else in a very breezy style that incorporates trivia, anecdote, and the essential facts. She offers a wonderful 20-page walking tour of Key West, listings for attractions, museums, and tours, and covers the usual bases concerning beaches and lodging. The first 278 pages of this 545 page book are about Key West; the rest cover the other keys, also wonderful but less strange, along the 106 miles of US #1 between Key West and the mainland.

There are some errors and omissions in the listings. Curry House welcomes all visitors, and has not been an exclusively gay guesthouse for several years; and Eden House has not served food for more than five years. A few of the nice smaller guesthouses are not listed. Some of the restuarants listed have closed--or have moved to new locations. This, the fourth edition, is due for a revision.

The line drawings in the book are wonderful, but there are no photos. I like a guidebook with, at least, a few photos--especially in a book this extensive.

I cannot stress enough how great this book is! I bought it the 1st time my husband and I planned our Key West trip and had to cancel due to a hurricane. I read it from cover to cover then, highlighting all of the things that we wanted to see or do. Now, we are planning our escape to paradise once again and I cannot put this book down. She makes it so interesting, it is not like reading your everyday guide book, she knows things about all of the Keys and has something interesting to say about every one of them. You will love this book if you are a history buff like me. I would enjoy this book even if we were not going to the Keys! I find myself reading something and then going back and re-reading the same thing because it is such neat information! Order it- you will not be sorry!

This book is the best of the best! Not only does it tell you about the toursist spots to visit in Key West, but also gives you great not so popular spots. It tells you about things to buy and places to eat. This book also gives details about the rest of the Florida Keys. So, if you are traveling to Key West, this book is a must have!

We bought this book in the early stages of planning a Labor Day weekend trip to Key West. It was sheer luck that we chose this book, and now we can't imagine our first visit without it.

I am impressed with the book's balance of suggestions for traditional tourist destinations and quirky attractions. (I would have never thought to visit the Key West cemetery without her guidance.) Best of all were the dining suggestions. Louie's Backyard, Banana Cafe, Camille's and Mangoes were wonderful. At the top of the list was Blue Heaven! My memory of Blue Heaven's gumbo soup and yellowtail snapper will linger with me always.

June Keith's book made our Key West vacation nearly perfect. I will recommend it to anyone planning to go to the Keys.

I read Sharon Warren's book and really enjoyed it. The CD is a 'how-to' on manifesting, a topic that so many other new-age authors talk about and write about but never get to the essence of, always leaving the listener in limbo, wondering why they are not able to manifest their goals. This CD explains the concept behind the principle of manifesting then goes on to give tools that are easy to understand and easy to use. I have enough books, CDs, and DVDs, on this topic to open my own store, most of which have not been very helpful to me, but this is one that actually delivers to you, the reader, in down to earth, easy to understand language, some practical help that is easy to apply. I highly recommend this CD to anyone who has ever wondered why THEY are not manifesting their desires.

I have enjoyed this cd as it is easy to listen to and I have picked up on several things I had forgotten it is straight talking.I know I will listen to it lots if times in the future. Great tool to help you keep focused

This is a tapping of a radio show. During the interview, a few concepts were reviewed and talked about. Very high level overview. If you like to just listen to a radio show, this is the right product for you. If you need more dept study, this is not a right product for you. There are other books/CDs give you more specific steps to follow. This product is a very high lever overview of the concept.

I love this CD - it is everything that my husband and I have been studying for years and it's a great recap of all that we must keep repeating until it's a part of our being - love it - try to listen to it everyday - thank you for such a great message.

If you've read Sharon's book, read any of Jerry & Esther Hicks' books, or watched The Secret on DVD--all about the law of attraction--Sharon's audio interview on CD, which teaches principles using stories, really helps to simplify a subject that can easily become complicated.

I found it to be a valuable reminder of what I needed to remember and a condensed version of the more in-depth teachings. If you understand the law of attraction but haven't been using it, this is the perfect reminder and motivator. If you haven't yet learned how and why we are the creators of our own circumstances, this is the ideal introduction.

Very informative and practical book. As a professional teacher/consultant in Canada for people who wish to better use their subconscious mind to improve their life through the law of attraction, I would personally give this book my recommendation to beginners to the subject as well as people who already have a grounding in the subject.

After seeing the movie "The Secret" I thought it might be helpful to get a workbook to help me with the principles they teach regarding The Law of Attraction. However, the first thing I noticed upon opening this workbook is that the first 42 pages ask you to write down every NEGATIVE thing you can think of about your life! You are asked to fill in the blanks regarding what you worry about most, what you struggle with, what you are concerned about, with your life partner, with your family, about money, about your career, and on and on. When I watched The Secret, my first impression was that you should not even dwell on these things AT ALL. So it seems as right at the beginning this book violates the first principle -- CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS! Then, once the book does get around to the part where your write how you would like your life to be, it specifically asks to you write down HOW YOU EXPECT TO ACCOMPLISH these changes! (i.e. "You need to move beyond listing the things you need to change and begin to focus on what you are going to do to attract each of the things . . .") This specifically contradicts another principle revealed in The Secret, which stated that you do not have to KNOW how it will come about, and you do not have to try to figure out yourself HOW IT WILL COME ABOUT! This appears to be one of those typical self-help books that have been published in the past, and it seems to have been just slightly adjusted to fit the principles of the Law of Attraction. Maybe this is a different "Law of Attraction" than they present in The Secret DVD? If you are looking for a book to help you with accomplishing the goals set by The Secret DVD, look elsewhere, this isn't it.

This is a book that everyone should have. The cover is intriguing enough but when you begin to read it, it will draw you in. I guess that is how the Law of Attraction works. . . Anyway, even if it doesn't call you now, it will eventually. And there it will be, right on your table waiting for you. You will feel empowered as a person as you read it. If you put it down for a while, you can always reread it and enjoy it as much as the first time you read it. What more would you want in a book?

This book is a very well written concise explanation of a lot of core concepts regarding the law of attraction and life concepts in general. While the concepts are discussed in many books, this book - standing alone - would provide the spark and seed of thought to assist in a meaningful discovery and appreciation of the Laws of the Universe. It is an easy read with down to eart (or heavenly) discussions in terms we can all understand. The affirmations presented have been very helpful to me personally.

I am really impressed with the way that these two authors understand and share their knowledge of the law of attraction. This book is a must for anyone that wants to truly learn and experience true abundance in life.

I feel that I didn't really understand the true power of the universe until I learned to control it through this book. Now I can honestly say that my life is completely changed and will be forever changing because of the principles I have learned through this book.

I read "Mastery of Abundant Living" on a flight from Chicago to Washington DC and began applying the techniques Tammy Lynch and Bruce Goldwell spelled out in the book from the moment I stepped off the plane. In fact, by using the "Law of Attraction," which I had literally learned on that 90 minute flight, my bag was the first to come off the belt in baggage claim, the public transportation to my hotel was free and my room was automatically upgraded to the top floor without a request and with no additional charges. I'm writing this review only a day later, so I can't say how it has changed my life, but I can't wait to see what happens!

... or don't people think that matters any longer? I was so distracted by the frequency of errors in this book (wrong words, misspellings, terrible layout, fonts changing), I could barely get through a page without being annoyed. Even when I tried to "attract perfection", those errors kept right on coming. Sloppy editing reflects sloppy thinking, and it surely is insulting to readers. You can find far better books on this topic. Buy them.

Ray Dodd apprenticed with Don Miguel Ruiz, who wrote The Four Agreements and the Mastery of Love. His influence is evident in Dodd's book, The Power of Belief.

Dodd makes the important point that belief is the power to create. He explains that it is your deepest beliefs that hold your attention and cause you to take, or avoid taking, action. Many of our beliefs come from our childhood. If left unchallenged, beliefs that don't serve us can keep us from living the life we desire.

Dodd notes that there are 4 steps to changing a belief:
1 - Practice awareness
2 - Give up the need to be right
3 - Love without limits
4 - Create a new dream

In the final section of the book, he provides us with tools to change our beliefs.

The Power of Belief is a well-written book which provides valuable advice on how to change your beliefs, and in so doing, change your life.

...i've long-since ceased buying every new hyped "self-help" book that tickes my fancy, and have developed a very streamlined discernment as to what select few books i choose to focus on; after browsing thru it, "the power of belief" profoundly struck me as indeed such a book - it seems to be "bringing home" in an effectively practical way the popular factual "new-age" concept that our beliefs certainly not only affect our day-to-day lives on the fundamental causal level, but are also simply our own personal creations that we can "re-create" anew into empowering beliefs the "negative" ones that are no longer serving us as well as energize ever further the positive ones that are

Very thought provoking with some very practical, useable and powerful ideas. I recommend it highly.

This book totally changed my perception on my intimate relationship with my husband and how I view myself sexually. I am getting this book for all the women I love for Christmas. It is written for any and every woman. I have already given it to my friend who has complained about pain during intercourse and she has found it to be a blessing knowing that she is not the only one and that there are ways to improve her sexual health.

Bear in mind that the author is the CEO and founder of "relationship enhancement toys"!! Enough to cast doubt on any of her position.

You can accuse me of asceticism--how did I know if I never tried? Well, instead of relying on empirical evidence, I firmly believe my intuition. I did come close to gratify my desire once or twice (if not a sexual one), but after it was all over, I was sooo glad that I never did that. Think of the aftermath! Maybe instant conceit felt great temporally, yet what ensues could only be deeper emptiness and anxiety. Viscous circle.

The biggest lesson I've learned is never to judge a book from its cover--I scanned this purely because it is printed so beautifully. Still, I don't deny its value as anatomy nouns... . I swear I would never allow myself to be so pathetic that I need her stuff in my bedroom; pleasure from intellectual achievement feels way way better. Besides, how could these 'enhance your intimate relationship'--with whom? She does not specify in the title--a partner? I would argue self-pleasuring... is alienating you from him precisely. Can you 'get there' alone, I mean, 'there' includes something emotional...? Seriously, I doubt it...

In short--Put O back to romance? OMG ladies, I'd say put the O back to your reason!!! There is something more than that--though I am not advocating mind over body for they are one. A philosophy book does the sexy job a million times better. I call it orgasm of the mind.

Pure Romance Between the Sheets: Find Your Best Sexual Self and Enhance Your Intimate Relationship
This book should be owned by every women. It is very educational and lets a women understand herself more. It is well written and composed. The cover is well presented and very conservitive for what is enclosed within the book. It was written with good taste and definantly not cheezy.

This book gave me a lot more confidence in the bedroom. I thought I had alot but boy I was wrong! I learned alot about the female body that I didnt know. Great job Patty!

Whether you are single or attached, this is a great book to own. It is filled with tons of information on women's sexual health and how to spice things up in the bedroom. And who doesn't need help in that department!? I love that the author is so down to earth and speaks in a language that the average woman can understand. Kudos to Patty Brisben for helping women around the world take control of their sexuality and enjoy being a woman!!

I am writing to say thank you for "Girl Most Likely To." Vina could be any woman of any ethnicity, in any city in the world. I was drawn to the book because of the question, '.....the girl most likely to find a happiness all her own?' I am at a place in my life where I am searching for answers and sometimes, I'm even searching for the questions. As I read the book it drew a stark comparison to my life and the inner turmoil that I working through. Although Vina is a fictional character, your writing ability breathed life into her and made her seem to be a living, breating being. It has been far too long since I've read a book that engaged all of my senses and made my imagination soar. Thanks so much for Vina and a wonderful book.

I really enjoyed this book and could really relate to the charachter! I'm half east Indian and half Mexican and can understand the pressures of being a twenty something unmarried professional woman in a culture that is so marriage driven. It was an easy read that was so enjoyable.

But it's good that it has big words! I liked this book for several reasons. It's higher brow than most chick lit, the main character is not the standard white girl, and it has more substance than most beach reads. And there were several times I laughed out loud. I also have a phobia, so I could relate to the main character. Plus, I'm also 27 and have a grandmother who thinks I'm an old maid because I don't already have three kids. My only issue with the novel is the use of italics. I know this is probably just me, but every time I read italics, I put an extra emphasis on the words. And the author uses them all the time. That's the only reason I gave it three stars. Otherwise, a good read!

Vina is a 27 year old Indian girl living in New York City. Her career on Wall Street is going well, but she lacks confidence in her abilities and it isn't fulfilling her. Her romantic life is a shambles. She is trying to balance her needs with the expectations of her more traditional parents. She is funny and warm and she is the heroine of "Girl Most Likely To."

I picked up this book expecting another lightweight romantic chicklit romp and was surprised to find that while it's every bit as amusing and easy-to-read as others in the genre, it actually is quite different. The quest for Mr Right is not central to the plot and in fact is resolved reasonably easily (while there are a few obstacles along the way, they are easily resolved and create no significant tension). Instead this is about Vina finding her path on all levels: spiritually, romantically, intellectually. I liked that the descriptions of Vina's work environment feel quite realistic (unusual for this genre) as did the descriptions of Vina's experience at the meditation retreat. Oh, and I loved the cover graphics.

There are elements of this book that didn't really work for me. The back story of the ex-boyfriend felt forced and the momentum dropped away towards the end. However Poonam Sharma is a promising new author who can accurately convey the agony of a broken heart and the self-doubt of feeling inadequate in your job while also throwing in one liners that make you laugh out loud. I look forward to reading her future novels.

in a day when chicklits are many, but few have the intelligence and clever wit required to make it a keeper on your bookshelf we must be thankful for reads like "Girl Most Likely To". chicklit may not even be an appropriate category for this humorous, charmingly engaging, and most importantly sassy and Smart novel. rather than trying to figure out different ways to stick a fork in my eye for having wasted a perfectly good afternoon, it instead left me wanting to ring up my girlfriends and revel in the joys of being in my thirties! "Girl Most Likely To" rests in my bookcase to be read again and again, as it will your's.
