Attractions Books

Sarah Mayberry is incredibly gifted. I am not a fan of the short romance format, but I have bought EVERY book by this author. Her characters are realistic, and the romance and sex are HOT.
For reference, my other favorite romance authors are: Kelsey Cole, Jessica Bird/ JD Ward, Julie Garwood, Mary Jo Putney, Christine Warren, Julie Ann Long, Loretta Chase, Elizabeth Hoyt.

I can't say enough good things about this book, as it's been so helpful to me in so many ways. Firstly, it's about how to be wanted and she tells you how. In additon to that, she brings in the whole law of attraction thing and shows you how to use it to get the man you want and the life, too. And, also, she talks about things that might be holding you back from getting the man/life and how to deal with it--i.e. heartbreak, lack of confidence, etc. I can't recommend this one enough as it's been so helpful to me. So, if you are looking for THE dating book that can change your life, get this one! It's at the top, for sure!!

I was browsing through the audiobok section of the bookstore last week and, because I'm an avid Leil Lowndes fan ("How to Make Anyone Fall in Love With You, and How to Talk to Anyone") I was searching in the "L" section to see if she had any other audios. I spotted this boring green and black box and thought some store employee had put a dull business audiobook in the wrong place. On second look, I saw that it was a Leil Lowndes audiobook and immediatey bought it.

Besides the fact that I love Leil's voice, the material was very insightful and gave excellent advice on to get a partner who is beautiful, rich, smart, and/or "a good person." (Being a guy, you can guess which section I liked best!)

The author explains why and how really gorgeous women are very different from just your average ones, and what qualities they most value in a man. You'd be surprised. I know I was. But when I thought about my friends who dated really gorgeous women, I realized she was right. I tried some of her advice about being "cocky and confident," and not fawning all over them or even taking them to places to impress her - and it's working!

She also talks about how to get a rich partner - all kinds. She writes, "There is old money rich, new money rich, celebrity rich, flashy rich; artist rich, business rich, and practical rich. Each has a different set of preferences in homes, cars, clothes, careers, education, hobbeys, AND they type of mate they are seeking." Leil gives you lots of smart techniques for "bagging" each type of rich mate.

I'm glad she also talked about getting a good or intelligent person too because some of the other techniques to get a rich or gorgeous mate could be considered a little manipulative.

But Leil sums it all up with the real bottom line: "If you marry for any reason than love, you pay for it the rest of your life. It's just not worth it!"

Fabulous audiobook. I highly recommend it.

beautiful works ranging in topics. my copy is only three years old and already worn almost completely out from so many readings.

Wonderful selection. Have fun with the recipes as well as reading about cool places.

This is an excellent "self-help" book, especially for children who are timid or may be suffering from separation anxiety. The story demonstrates the power of positive thinking in the form of a short, clever story about a young girl who believe's "It's gonna be a great day."

If you enjoy spending quality time with your child, or have one who has been reading on his or her own for a while, this is an excellent value and a positive and beneficial book.

Living joyfully...
Sheri Kaye Hoff shares her story with readers. She stresses that we can have joy, but many of us do not think we deserve it. Too often, we seek joy outside ourselves, outside of our Lord. We look for joy in things and circumstances. Our joy must come from within. One of my favorite scriptures is "The joy of the Lord is my strength." Our true joy comes from walking closely with Him.
Keys To Living Joyfully is beautifully written. Hoff presents her joyful message in a simple, easy-to-understand style. At the end of each chapter, she has exercises and blanks to record your observations. This book is a great individual study.

Refusing to give in to the call of her animalistic nature, wolfen Justine Price has abstained from the pleasures of the flesh for longer than she cares to remember. Finally tired of the loneliness that comes with the pull of the moon, she comes up with a plan to get a little bit of pleasure. Interrupted by a fellow wolfen needing intervention before he commits a horrible crime, Justine rushes to his side. She doesn't expect to find a human male who will cause her to forget her self imposed exile on delights to be had with humans. Detective Greene, is on the hunt for the murderous madman killing women in his city. The chemistry he feels as he matches wits with the woman who shares his interest in Shakespearean storylines is an unexpected but welcome diversion. There's just something puzzling about how Justine wound up in the middle of his investigation and he will need to find out why before the next full moon when the killer is sure to strike again.

After seeing the blurb for this story I knew I had to read it. Hmm let's see, a killer on the loose, unknown dangers and of course the perquisite cop. Justine and Michael are totally hot to watch, as they traded quotes from some of Shakespeare's most popular offerings, I couldn't help but be dazzled. Killer Attraction was just as exciting as I hoped it would be and more. The witty dialogue, interesting turn of events and of course the actual villain himself made this a winner for Mikala Ash. Readers will find this story a tad gritty but laced with a persuasive romance that leaves you wondering what's next.

Wonderful book, lots of different perspectives on the Law of Attraction. The other reviews here are obviously not for this book as one of them posted before the book was published and the other references twenty pages, when this book has ninety two pages.

I bought this book like a month ago, and this is the book I'm carrying around with me these days.

I've been using the Law of Attraction type books since I was a young teenager and have numerous successes in my life. So I have no doubt this "Law" works - but I find myself buying more books of this kind because I have this insatiable thirst to Know More about this subject matter.

The thing that separates this book from my other books - although they have served me well - is that it is more comprehensive than the other books, and does a fascinating job of linking the Law of Attraction/Manifestation WITH NLP techniques. And it doesn't waste any time!!! I'm quite amazed at how he managed to put so much insight on the subject in such a short number of pages. Very compact and to the point!

The problem I had after my "series of successes" is that I couldn't sustain my level of vibration (as Losier succinctly puts it) once my "curiosity" was gone. Reading this book, helped me understand HOW to get back to vibrating on that level again.

The technique he employs of getting back on track or on vibe again is not a new one - I have seen the use of Contrast in other books such as "Manifesting Your Heart's Desire" by Sharon A. Warren. But the many examples of exact wording he provides (p. 58-63) and the way he explains how most affirmations don't work are a goldmine for me.

For example, consider the differences in your feelings about these:
a) I have a perfect life mate.
b) I'm in the process of attracting a life mate.
I love knowing that my ideal partner lives in my city.
I am in the process of attracting all that I need to do,
know, or have, to attract my ideal desire regarding a life mate.

a) is a typical affirmation and it won't work for me, because
I feel uncomfortable thinking it because right now, it's a lie.
b) is reframing things so that they are all true and it helps
me focus on my current desires. They include my desires in my
bubble of vibration!

The other awesome chapter is the one about Allowing Statements.
Along with the words "I'm in the process of..." Losier instructs
the uses of "I've decided... (I'm going to be in a happy, healthy
relationship.)" or "Lots can happen... (in the next week, month, year)."

Basically this Allowing Statement is what is going to help me
overcome my doubts, worries, negative feelings, and help me
change my mental set, and focus on my desires. It is amazing how
quickly my mindset and feelings get turned around with these magic
words. They help me feel positive, detach easily, have more faith,
and makes the "waiting" part of the game more fun and enjoyable.

I'm thrilled because I've heard of NLP so much, and Losier has made it so easy and to the point, and so instantly useable in my life. His website is also neat and has downloadable worksheets (it's in PDF format and a bit of a shame he didn't make it a Word Document, but it's a simple worksheet so it's not a big problem...) which I think is quite considerate of him.

Among my library of Get Wealthy / Success / Self Help / Manifesting / Visioning / Goal Setting / Quantum Physics / Fengshui and Clutter related / Meditating / Recovery related / Dating related / Family communication related / Business or CEO targeted books - this is the only one I'll choose to give to my younger sister on this subject matter. It's up to date, and doesn't get lost in New-Age type of cookiness, and is immediately appliable to all areas of a person's life.

I'd like to thank Mr. Losier for sharing his insights, and especially for the way he presented his material in easy to follow steps. I'm so satisfied with my curiosity being answered - on how to manifest long term success now - because with my previous understandings of the Law, I could only manage a series of successes that were all "one off" type, "successful mini projects." My previous understanding couldn't help me go on to making more "long term" or "permanent" commitment type successes.

I would give this book 10 stars if I could! ^^
