This book is an inspiration. It deals with heartache and the trials of SSA (Homosexuality). It was an honor to help produce this book; though I did not give my own personal story, I did submit a poem to it. I am thankful that I had the chance to help bring this message to others. Read it for yourself, or get it for someoneone you know who is dealing with this issue. Remember with God, All things, not just some, are possible.

The force of the future

Review Date: 2000-08-02
As we move into the 21st century I suspect this book will no longer be out of print. Pooh-poohed by the scientific establishment, Baron von Reichenbach's painstaking research on the forces of Magnetism, Electricity, Heat, Light, Crystallization, and Chee reveal a hitherto still largely unidentified force in nature. The few scientists who took the trouble to go through his carefully documented experiments found they were able to replicate the results.

His initial research into the various forces mentioned in the title was conducted with subjects who were in a poor state of health. This rendered them more sensitive to the phenomena they reported. Later, Von Reichenbach was able to work with healthy people as well. He found that many were just as sensitive to the phenomena and that this was more widespread than he had thought.

This is more a textbook for the serious student of unexplained forces in nature (rather than a scintillating Harry Potter-type read) and, with a little application, the open minded could find that the insight to be gained from this research may be invaluable in the years to come.

This book is a dense and stunning compilation of all things "roadside" (interesting buildings, restaurants, fiberglass giants, old amusement parks, eccentric constructions, etc.). The research is thorough and up-to-date, the photos fantastic, and the subject matter comprehensive. It's a must-have for anyone looking to add interesting sights to their travels and for folks interested in Americana.

There is so much going on in this book; it is busy and fun, and informative, and a hoot! It is real trip down Memory Lane. Cover is lively and enticing, print quality is nice, as is page size. It is clear the authors enjoy their work. Colors are crispy cool! I plan to buy several for Christmas gifts. If you took road trips when you were young, you're going to really enjoy being reminded of the quirky places along the way. If you never experienced road trips in the middle of last century, then read it anyway and find out what you missed, and what your parents and grandparents are talking about when they say they "took a trip". I'm the cute little girl in the convertible on page 69.

How I wish I had this book when I was a young mother trying to understand my three young girls. Times may change but the insights revealed there would have been as relevant then as they are now. Andrea Samadi writes with a passion for young people and an understanding of their needs that is far beyond her years.

After reading through The Secret for Teens Revealed, all I could think
of was, why didn't this book come out when I was a teen! Everything I
wished I had learned as a teenager-the importance of goal setting,
developing healthy self-esteem, living in alignment with my values-I
finally did learn through years of trial and error, but if I'd had
Andrea's wonderful book back then, there's no telling how far I'd have
risen-and how much quicker!

The Secret for Teens Revealed should be required reading for teens and their parents (as well as teachers, administrators, etc.), and for anyone else who still wants to make the most of their life and life experience. A GEM of a book!"

For anyone who wants to apply the Law of Attraction principles to growing younger, this is an excellent resource. Just look at Ellen -- she's 70 years old and looks 45. This book will convince you that you have an inner fountain of youth and will empower you to access it. Ellen offers various processes inlcuding: choosing youthful thoughts, having more fun, affirmations such as "With every breath I take, the cells in my body grow younger," visualizations, a youthfulness collage, a creation planner, and six habits to guarantee your success. In this age of instant gratification, she even offers a 30-second grow younger method. As you follow the steps in this book, connecting with and trusting your inner spiritual guidance, not only will you access an inner fountain of youth, but you will also access "that incredible fountain of joy deep inside you -- that manifestation of Spirit." Ellen was inspired to write this book and I'm sure you will be as inspired by it as I was.

This book is incredible; there hasn't been anything like it since the Story of O and, frankly, if you were turned on by Lolita, here's a User's Guide that would probably make Heidi Fleiss blush. Take it from me, I'm the author.

Another excellent book by Fast

Review Date: 2007-12-04
This is a great book, co-written with another author. It follows Fast's usual formula, which is to center each chapter on research from a notable researcher, and add interesting commentary and explanation about that research. The book also has interesting interviews from dozens of people that support the researchers.

It taught me some new stuff about eye contact, and I've read tons of books already about eye contact.

It is kind of dated, but it makes more for an interesting, historic read, because the information is still useful.

I must say, the woman has skills! I saw the British TV show (featuring Tracy) and decided to check her works out. I notice a LOT of things she mentions in superdate and it was really refreshing try out the techniques on people. More importantly, I was doing bad posing too, and that had to be worked out. The illustration was great in this book too, so this is definitely a book I've already recommended to many, and would continue to recommend to anyone needing help in this dating world. Many women don't know how to flirt, today, so they just show some skin or get overly sexy. So in the absense of females with real flirt skills, the book was a HUGE help. Now, on to the next book of hers superflirt!

Great guide to body language in dating
Helpful Votes: 40 out of 42 total.
Review Date: 2005-04-26
The name of the book is somewhat misleading: it should be called "Body Language 101" or "Body Language Literacy Course".

I have read a dozen of books on body language but nothing comes even close to this one. This book's best feature is full-color photos that show body language in action. There are more photos than text, which is great. All other books have occasional drawings but they don't reflect the magnitude of people's poses and facial expressions; here everything is as simple as 1-2-3.

Now I can just glance across the room and see in an instant how the people around me feel and what they are up to. Incredibly powerful.

Moreover, I can pick on my own bad body language and it's easy to change it to something I'd like to communicate.

It will work not only for dating situations but in any situation where you communicate with people (including posting photos in personals or applying for a job).

If you want to be "body language literate" in an instant, get this book - you'll be glad you did!

It is truly inspirational to read, from a young girl, lessons that I didn't learn until my 30's and insights I had yet to learn until reading this book. It is very easy to focus on what we don't have or what could be. Sometimes lessons aren't learned until a tragedy is stuck in front of us. Estar gives inspiration & hope on how to deal with unforeseen events. She is amazing.

Though this might sound like a book primarily of interest to critically ill children and their families, anyone could use this book as an inspiration during the inevitable hard times that come to every life. Rather than being stumbling blocks, Miss Hester's many challenges have become building blocks, paving the way to a positive, productive present and future. I would recommend this book for readers of all ages, both for its inspirational qualities and as a valuable model of high-quality children's writing generated by a true young talent.

I recommend this book (volume II), and volumes I and III, to anyone who is starting the search for 'truth', seeking to change their life's direction, seeking ideas on what and who they are, and why things are.
The books are easy reads, and at the same time, tell you lots about your own power, the power of the mind, the power of thoughts, your beliefs and vibrations, without being too 'flowery' or 'mystical'. Those who are just starting out their exploration of the power of the mind and The Secret etc, will find this book and volumes I and II all helpful and insightful.
The author also gives example affirmations and thought patterns to use to bring about positive change in one's mental attitudes and life.
They are good books to start off with, or to read in addition to similar writers such as Joseph Murphy, Ernest Holmes and H Emilie Cady...

As Wattles says in chapter four of 'The Science of Being Great' ( volume I), 'God is wrapped about us, enfolds us and presses upon us from every side....We are immersed in mind and that mind contains all knowlege and all truth...you can make yourself what you desire to be: you can do what you wish to do; you can have what you want...'.
Volume II (page 109) he states '...The desire for advancement is a fundamental fact in the action of mind, therefore the desire for advancement is in all and through all. All things desire the advancement of every man. If a man desires any good thing in order to live his life more fully, that thing desires him also...'
Volume III (page 98) he states, '...and if you recognise disease within yourself, you prevent God from reaching you; and you form within yourself that which you recognise as existing...'.
I think volume one is the best of the three volumes, but they all contain insights.
