if you love little guinea pigs like we do over at my house, this is the perfect calendar for you! you can't go wrong with this one!

I have a couple different guinea pig wall calendars and this one is my very favorite. The pictures are too Cute!!

One of my friends has guinea pigs and I started a tradition of sending her these calendars last year. This calendar had lots of cute photos of guinea pigs doing non-guinea pig things so if you like that sort of "non-National Geographic" approach to animal photography and have a thing for guinea pigs, I think you will be pleased.

If you are a guinea pig lover you will love this calendar. The pictures are great.

If you are a fan of Guinea Pigs (a.k.a. cavies) or know someone who is then this calendar is perfect. Whether for yourself or as a gift this is a great find. As guinea pigs grow in popularity as pets unique calendars like this are nice to finally see. The pictures are excellent and the calendar has a wide variety of guinea pig breeds. All of the piggers are very cute and are in adorable poses. Very nicely done.

My 3 yr old daughter loved the book, and we the parents loved it to. Simple and charming story and cute illustrations. I borrowed it at the library but since she was so disappointed when we had to return it, I will buy it.

My 6 year old just finished reading this to me (with a little help) and we both enjoyed it even though Halloween was well over a month ago. The text is simple and repetitive which made the book easy for him to read and caused very little frustration (though a few of the words were new to him). The story is about a group of jolly mice dressed for Halloween. They're dancing, eating and having a great old time until a cat decides to crash the party. They then devise a way to scare off the cat so they can continue their fun. Gotta love 'em. The drawings are fanciful and spooky without being too scary for little ones. My son loved the final page and said he'd love to read it again. The book gets 5 stars for that comment alone!

As a pig lover, I buy anything with pigs to read to my granddaughters. This book is adorable and fun.

This is a great book to get young children interested in eating healthy foods and exercising. I am an elementary physical education teacher and I take my younger students to "Hamster Camp" to learn about healthy living. We incorporate activities that a hamster might have fun doing along with activities that you would find at an outdoor camp. The students love it and learn some good lessons along the way.

Oh to be a new reader! For those of you who learned to read with the Dick and Jane books, the latest New Reader books are a whole different class. One pleasing trend is the introduction of well-loved characters and stories to new readers. (One example is the _My first little house books_ series). Enter a new series called Peter's neighborhood, based on the beloved characters created by Ezra Jack Keats. The pictures are eye-catching, reminiscent, naturally, of Keats' style. The simple story is also pleasing with three friends working together to catch the escaped class hamster. Well worth a read.
