I use this product every day, taking my dog around town. The cover installs in about 1 min. and comes out even faster. The way it installs, you can also fold back half of it for someone to ride sitting beside your dog, without sitting on the pet cover. Cleaning is a breeze, haul it out, hose it down and it dries in a few hours. Or, you can simply throw it in the wash, then air dry it. This product is Made in USA, which is important to me as well, and now hard to find in a pet seat cover.

So pleased with this calendar, I especially enjoyed the black and white photos,and rawness of rodeo life.

Wow! This is a fabulous resource for teachers. Comes with dvd of suggestions for teachers, resources to download (when dvd is used in computer), video of Lester reading Saturdays and Teacakes, video of Lester giving commentary about why he chose to use certain craft techniques and language. It really helps students see that the craft of writing is purposeful. My students tried many of his craft techniques as a result.

The Book:
Creative Product Development: From Concept to Completion is rooted in real world engineering. The case histories and examples are all drawing from engineering disciplines, and the content is based on material from a course for practicing scientists and engineers. The professional engineers in the course applied numerous creativity-enhancing techniques to their job-related problems, and only the techniques that worked consistently well are included in this book.

The first several chapters of this book describe creativity techniques and give engineering examples and case histories demonstrating their use. A few of the creativity methods that work for real world engineering are:
* Broad statements of the problem to provide room for conceptualization and expose several viewpoints
* Idea trees to show relationships among various ideas. Alternative ways of organizing the idea tree emphasize different viewpoints
* Analogies to change perspective
* Idea modification method to change ideas that won't work into one that will
* Finding common aspects of failed approaches and trying an approach that intentionally avoids those commonalities
The last chapter on creativity begins by showing how developing a habit of using creativity techniques attunes professionals to making observations that can lead to discovery. This chapter finishes by presenting a creative yet structured approach to finding new uses for existing products.
The remainder of the book describes troubleshooting, evaluating, planning, and integrated product teaming - essential parts of product development.

Why I Wrote this Book:
I became fascinated with the application of creativity to product development nearly three decades ago. As a young antenna engineer, I spent weeks trying to develop a frequency selective sub-reflector meeting particular specifications. Every approach I tried failed. Then late one afternoon, I was sitting in the company library. The sun was coming through the window, and I was relaxed. All of the sudden, I asked myself what I was really trying to do-and the answer led me immediately to an unorthodox design. I built a prototype and it worked!

I kept wondering why, in that moment in the library, I was able to see a solution that I had not recognized before. That curiosity led me to do a lot of library research on creativity. There were many wonderful books on creativity, a few with puzzle-type engineering problems, but none focused on real world engineering. I wrote this book to fill that void.

This serious, detailed book offers a nonconventional marketing approach for high-tech promoters and investors. Consultant Geoffrey Moore has thought long and hard about how to market new technology, so the book sometimes reads like an intriguing personal essay. He makes an elaborate case about different technology users, citing product examples to explain why each consumer matters at certain stages in product marketing. At times, his presentation get a little strained, such as when he tries to describe how consumer groups "reference" each other or how marketers must engage in "informed intuition." Moore devised his own explanations for the successes and failures of different high-tech marketing tactics, so your level of agreement depends on how much of his detailed theory fits your marketing concerns. We find substantial interest and value in this exploration of high-tech marketing.

I had this book for many years, and lost it. Probably forgot to whom I lent it. I've been looking for another for several years, I am so happy to have it again. Mostly about using dehydrated storage foods, but so much more, and so helpful. I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking of storing dehydrated foods for any emergency, as well as everyday use. I also knew the lady who did a huge part of the recipes.

Upon entering our home it was the first thing our one year grandson went for. He would sit forever, looking at the pictures. He knows where to push the tires to get the sounds. He also is content with having the book read to him. He could recognize Dale on when watching racing.
