Motorcycles Books

This is fantastic book for those of us who weren't around to experience the cafe racers of the 60's and 70's. It's like a time capsle sending you back to the lifestyle and genre of the ton-up boys and what it meant to earn that label.

Book was just as described from seller, perfect and unused condition.

As one of the authors, I know the book well, and am not so much reviewing as sharing how it has been made. Brother Jim, a freelance mechanic in Austin, TX for a quarter century and more, and I published an early version ourselves in 1992, and it is the first guide to the real spoken slang of car, truck, and motorcycle slang--not complete, but stimulating and authentic. Got this for my husband, he is an old motorcycle rider, and yes he rides old motorcycles. He loved the book. Had information he did not know. Great pictures, not just good color, but the quality of the paper and picures is nice.

The information in this book is amazing. To find out how far back the Japanese Motorcycle industry goes was new to me. Finally a motorcycle history book that isn't about Harley's.

A great book for every Chevrolet racing fan. Full of secret items and true stories of Chevrolet's behind the scenes involvement in racing when the AMA ban on manufacturer involvement was in place. Plenty of amusing characters from the early days of racing. Highly recommended.

Owned this book many years. is very in depth on most models in cluding materials that specific parts are made of. That can be very useful when welding or doing custom machining. Have matched its info to factory manuals and found it to be truer than any other out there. I needed to buy very few afterward because it covers so many makes, models and years. Found it useful in doing antique Brittish, Italian and Japanese motorcycles repairs. I would buy this book before any other if i owned a general motorcycle repair shop!!!!

The color, scenery, and diversity of China is awesome, as shown so beautifully in this wonderful book. Makes one want to spend a month or two traveling around the country.

Beautiful choppers and bobbers. They will surely find a favorite here. Excellent quality and photography. Highly recommended.
